      Life is unpredictable. Your power shouldn't be. (Their slogan on the website currently). I'd like to add "Your Solar Provider (Sunnova) shouldn't be unpredictable either" or "Sunnova: predictably unpredictable".We paid in full the balance on our Solar Panels to take advantage of their promotion of the $900 gift credit card. I had to initiate the contact at 8 weeks when no word came from their side about the promotion, and the subsequent follow *** into what seems a black matter void (like much of our experience with the botched installation (2 condo units only one power line), reinstallation, and all the lost and uncompensated time lost on inspectors and scheduling due to Sunnova's keystone-copping of errors and bad communication that took nearly 10 months for functioning solar panels, when they promised 2-4 months. So far they've been evasive about sending along the promotion, only offering 3 excuses as to why they aren't fulfilling their end of the bargain: 1) sorry the 6-8 weeks processing is from the end of the promotion, not from receipt of payment 2) sorry to hear that you haven't received anything, we've started a claim (3 weeks after the 8 wks of promotion end) and 3) we've already started a claim and awaiting research (this week). You'd think the $13K+ that posted in their bank account would be proof positive that we fulfilled our part. It's duplicitous behavior from Sunnova.Imagine it's not surprising the company is on the verge of bankruptcy. They've restructured and replaced the CEO who is now **** S. *******, the former *** and VP. Our personal experience of poor product installation and poor customer service does not make for referrals or repeat customers. Buyer beware. Good Faith ********** would be them providing the promotion they promised.

      An update is not an issued promotional credit card fulfilled. This, by the way, is the 4th excuse pretending to resolve this issue without actually resolving this issue. They have my money, my name "for verification purposes", my mailing address and my email. Seems rather easy to simply send out the card by mail or by link, no? And now it's nearly a month after the promised date of delivery of 6-8 weeks from the end of the promotion. Duplicitous behavior. I've done focus group work in the past where incentive credit cards were easily handled by both email link and/or physical credit card. All stalling tactics.

      Now in their 8th excuse and now 2 months since the promised promotion was to be delivered, they finally issued a virtual promotion card today, only it seems to be fake. Don't know about you . . .but pretty sure a card ending in **SSN** with 2 different expiration dates and a bunch of other sketchy things when you try to call the service number saying they have issues adding the card to a digital wallet or not having an online shop to redeem the money to sounds like FRAUD.

      I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Sunnova's customer service. I require a roof replacement and have spent the past three consecutive days attempting to obtain information regarding the removal and reinstallation costs of my solar panels. Each time I call, I am met with a general representative who transfers me to another department. Unfortunately, this department consistently fails to answer the phone. This lack of responsiveness is severely hindering my ability to proceed with necessary home maintenance and is directly impacting the quality and upkeep of my property. I urge Sunnova to address this issue and provide prompt and effective customer service.

      Where to start. From the beginning the rep was pushy, and used underhanded sales tactics. He pushed the wife to signed the husband's name on the contract, telling her her husband had already looked it over and just to "get it started." The CA solar disclosure required by law was not in or at the front of the contract. They hire cut rate crews to do all their installs. They did damage to the new roof when installing, broke a vent pipe in the attic when installing, the "electrician" took everything from the panel, put it all back in with half the property (including the well house) without power for a full weekend in 100+* heat without telling anyone. No one could be reached during the weekend to get emergency power restored. It has been 6+ months and they still haven't come out to restore power!! They never provided plans before installing (they then installed the heavy batteries on an unpermitted wall as a result) It has been 9 months since the " install" started, and no work has been done to fix anything, finish hooking up the system, or comply with county permits since. This company is shady and will take your money and run leaving you with debt and a PGE bill still. Watch for leaky roof from all the damage!!

      MY COMPLAINT RE SUNNOVA: From July 2024-March 10, 2025 (the date of my filing this complaint), my solar panels have not been working to reduce my electric bill. I have repeatedly called (many times) speaking with a representative regarding this issue. During the month of July 2024, a gentleman from Sunnova came to my home and removed a part from the side of the house (I was told a new part was needed). He said that he would order a new part and would come back to replace it. After leaving, he never called with any explanation and never came back with the part. Upon many calls to Sunnova during this time period, I have been told repeatedly that Sunnova has not received the part necessary to replace the part which was taken from my home in July. In spite of many attempts in calling the Sunnova telephone number and speaking with a representative of Sunnova, I still get the same old story: THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PART. I am thoroughly frustrated and upset that it has been 9 months; and they keep telling me they haven't received the part. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND WRONG. I know at this point I am been given the run-around. It should not take 9 months to get a part!!I would gratefully appreciate any advice, guidance, or assistance you can give me.       Sunnova contracts solar installation companies that promise up to $1500 reimbursement of your TrueUp bill after all installations and inspections are completed. Don't fall for the lies, My work was done by Eco Energy installers and they don't keep to their promises. Eco Energy has not kept their end of the deal to this day and Sunnova states that installation and promises made at the time of sale are not part of Sunnova. Yet they have Eco Energy selling and installing the panels for them. Sonnova and Eco Energy are scamming people promising deals they can't keep. Be aware!

      My solar system wasn’t working right for my home and cortège we where still paying Hawaiian electric and the the solar company I reached out to them from September with no response, then November, I stop paying my Solor now. Senova wants my money not to service me in order to service me I have to pay them. How am I guaranteed that my service will be repaired

      Really bad experience with Sunnova, with their lack of professionalism and true response. Contacted Sunnova to install a battery for my solar panels, went to the whole process, signed contracts and scheduled installation date. But on the date of the install, their crew suddenly took off with no feedback. Later that evening I received an email to let me know that project was canceled due to "unforeseen" circumstances. Really bad action and bad reply after I called them back. They should be fined for this terrible action.

      I have Sunnova solar panels on my roof. They calculated the load incorrectly so I had to put a second system in just to keep up with demand. Every time I have reached out to them you cannot get an answer. They follow a script (not allowed to think) and will get back with you, which they never do. I am know trying to remove the panels to get my roof replaced. They sure as heck took my money to remove the panels but can't I get someone to call me and schedule the removal. HECK NO. I've been calling for a month now. My roof job is scheduled for Monday and its now the week prior. Sunnova is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. Run while you can and tell your friends.

      My solar panels have not been sending data for 3 months. Terrible customer service. They do not honor appointments. They reschedule appointments without notifying customers. I took off work and lost a whole days wage to find out they rescheduled my appointment without telling me. Call center employees have no knowledge or skill. Yet they are taking our money every month.

      The worst company I’ve ever dealt with.. they were crooks.. been charging me for panels that don’t produce what they said . Worse than that is I’m still getting charged from my electric company . So I’m paying both and Sunnova does nothing.. it’s the run around . Customer service is terrible. They respond with email saying everything is fine.. I’m to they point were I’m telling them to come get there panels and I’m not going to pay for something that doesn’t work. They should be audited. Scam
