      I WANT TO LEAVE 0 STARS!!! Ive had a terrible experience with ********. Their customer service is absolutely horriblethey never respond when you ask them to come out and fix issues. The solar system rarely works, and when it doesnt, getting help is impossible. I would strongly advise against using their services. Very frustrating and unreliable!

      Extremely Misleading and Frustrating Experience I signed up with Sunnova under the impression that I was receiving a ***** for solar panels. Turns out, its actually a leasea crucial detail that was never made clear during the sales process. Now, Im unable to refinance my home unless I pay off the lease entirely. My only options? Pay $20,000 to have the panels removed, or $25,000 to buy them out. Both are outrageous, especially considering how poorly the system *********** make matters worse, my electricity bill is higher than it was before installing solar panels. The system is producing only 25% of what my household actually uses. Isnt solar supposed to reduce your energy costs?Every time I call for help or clarification, I get vague answers or conflicting information. Even the customer service **** seem confused by the contract terms. There is zero transparency, and as a consumer, its incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark (ironically) about something as important as your home energy system and finances.Sunnova has been a huge regret. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone until they get their contracts, performance, and customer service straightened out.I NEED OUT OF THIS HEADACHE!

      I had solar panels put on just withing the last 3 years. I am now dealing with a leaking roof that needs to be replaced. All of the roofing installers cannot believe that I was allowed to have panels put on with the condition of my roof. I reached out to our original salesman for some guidance and he is avoiding me. He told me he would call me back in a few minutes... it's been weeks. I followed up with a text and still nothing. I called the company the other day looking for information and have not heard back either. Very disappointed at this point.

      Sunnova's claims process was, for me, absolutely terrible. Their equipment install caused leak issues from our roof into our house. There own technician came out and determined as much. The leak was bad enough that after four attempts to address the leak itself we were required to replace the entire roof. Their mismanagement cost us tens of thousands of dollars all told. The claims process drew out beyond two months always with me writing another email asking about progress on my case. In the end I was met with a response saying - sorry for the inconvenience, we can't help.

      This company is the worst! We have called several times for them to fix something that they messed up and yet they just give a run around every single time! This has gone on long enough. They're quick to take the money from your account but when they need to fix something they don't see the problem! Whose going to repair the damage they did?!? Not them apparently.. They kept telling us a technician would be out to service us but we have yet to see or have yet to get a call that to confirm the appointment!

      We had a storm and I have a live wire laying in my yard - called 2 times and once was on hold for over 45 minutes and they told me to keep my phone nearby someone would be out either that night (yesterday) or today. NOTHING - no one called - I called back today and the person who answered informs me after being on hold 10 minutes - they were still reviewing my case and no work order was in place, in addition, technicians don't work weekends. I am beyond frustrated and will be seeking legal advice.

      I could give zero stars, I would. Solar Energy has engaged in deceptive and potentially illegal business practices. They falsified documents tied to my late mothers solar panel contract by listing me as a homeowner on her property without my knowledge or consent.I only discovered this a year after her passing when I checked my credit report and saw a closed, charged-off account for a debt that was never mine. I never signed a contract with this company. When I contacted them to dispute the account, I was told that because they ran my credit, I somehow became the owner of the panels. That is absolutely not how contracts work.*****, they never contacted me directly. All communication was sent to my mothers phone and emaileven though I was supposedly a party to the agreement. No paper documentation was ever sent to the residence, and I was left in the dark.From 2018 until my mothers death, I was unknowingly tied to a billing account with Sanova, and I was also never informed that I was allegedly responsible. I believe even my mother was unaware I was listed.This is a clear case of negligence, misrepresentation, and document falsification. I plan to pursue legal action and have reason to believe Im not the only victim of their predatory practices.Avoid this company at all costs. They exploit families and hide behind misleading paperwork and silence.

      As a licensed solar contractor, we expect prompt payment for services rendered. Despite multiple follow-ups, Sunnova has remained past due on payment for over six months, all while continuing operations throughout the state.Weve exercised patience and professionalism throughout this period, but unfortunately, no action has been taken to resolve the matter. If payment is not received immediately, we will be forced to pursue formal action through the ************************* Better Business Bureau (BBB), and other appropriate legal channels.
