Appears to be reasonably transparent. Contract although favorable to Sunnova, appears to be balanced. Cost is fair, not cheap Overall process slow because of permitting and multiple parties but communication was good Have not dealt with customer service directSunnova Energy International Inc. My customer service experience was thoroughly unsatisfactory . I was placed on hold for approximately 5 minutes TWICE, they could not help me at all because my service agreement was the only information on my account they had. I had to go to the two other companies involved in my system to get the help and information I was seeking. This is contrary to what I was told when I purchased my home and solar system. realizing there are other powers to be in this set up process but, I had figured I would at least have my panels installed by now. at this rate I will be paying you the lease money and still be paying full electric bill all winter. not sure the exact date we started this process, but it was around march or April that we signed the agreement and no new information as to when the project will be up and running yet.Sunnova Energy International Inc. I have tried to get some help as to why my APS electric bill is still way over what I was told by the salesman and installer said. They told me that I really wouldn’t have no more electric bills. But my bill was $268.00 this month. Since they were installed my bill has not been less than$150 a month. So what can you do about it.Sunnova Energy International Inc. Response

The Solar Panels have been wonderful but communication could be improved. The office keeps up to date on panels that are not producing but I don't know how to collect that data. They are a little high priced for the next 10 years but do save on my electric bill. would love to add a battery to this set up but again the price is too high. We paid the full amount (over $18k) to Sunnova for the panels on March 1, 2024. As of today, July 19, our system is still not activated. We were told that our application was submitted to the electric company and was rejected because Sunnova failed to fill out the form properly. I've reached out to Edison and they noted that if our solar application was submitted BEFORE 7/1/24 to reach out to your contractor for a status update. We were told that our application was resubmitted on 6/17/24. We've had to call Sunnova and were put on hold for over an hour and bounced around between departments to only be told that our account is "Pending Permanent Service." Apparently someone at Sunnova can not be bothered to look into this and actually follow up with SoCal Edison. All the while we are out $18k and still having to pay monthly for electricity especially during this summer heat.Review from DAVID S

I love our new panels. Our last bill from Eversource was for $407+. That is the 2ncond month is a row of paying nothing to Eversource and the bill before that was for $9.Sunnova Energy International Inc. Response
