I emailed with questions asking if I was a good candidate for the product. I was then asked to send multiple photos of my smile. I did that. I was contacted after my photos were looked at by those that make the veneers and told yes, id be a great candidate. I then paid for and ordered kit. I sent in the impressions back, weeks later I was contacted via mail requesting I redo impressions as the ones I sent would not work to make veneers. I paid again. Sent the impressions again. Not a word back, I contacted them today and was told I they do not refund after 14 days. That doesn't even make since seeing the entire process would take much longer than that.Business Response

Date of Transaction; 3/23/24-until now I have given Shiny Smile Veneers a total of $1172 for two full sets of veneers( 1 for my husband and 2 for myself). We had made multiple molds, as well as set each one of us had a one-on-one walkthrough conference with their technician on creating an “acceptable” mold, yet after submitting 3 different sets of these molds, we are receiving the same response stating the molds are not being done correctly. Through one of the processes the company sent an email stating that for my husband and myself, a partial part of the set was accepted or “ok,” but we have not seen or received these veneers. I contacted the company after our 2nd effort of completing the molds and was told I could not get a refund and an additional kit for free would be sent, but for the 2nd kit we would pay 11 dollars, therefore my husband and I could set up two separate one-on-one video conference to have someone walk each of us through the steps of creating a successful upper and lower mold. We completed this process and the 3rd sets were mailed, but we have not received any veneers, not even the ones that the company stated were “ok.” I’m not sure if I will be able to get my money back, but I hope this could help someone else keep from losing their hard-earned money and not receive the goods that they paid for. I attached a screenshot of bank statement showing the payments came out, along withe invoices for both sets of veneers, the first set was in two payment of $290 for two months and the second set was initial payment of $ 290 + 3 additional payment of $99 dollars a month with last payment rendered on July 30,2024. I bought the veneers I believe February 2023 and I have done about 6 videos with a specialist and first 5 videos I got rejected in the molds I made, finally got approved for the last one (they did refund me $70.00 dollars for some mold kits i bought) my first set of veneers I received was over a year later and was way to big for my mouth the second set was not flush with the inside of my top teeth I was afraid of cutting my tongue and was to big! They redid them again and they squared off my front top teeth my teeth are round and still have a gap on the inside I cant close my mouth the top lip sticks out! I have asked several times to give me a refund but they wont they say its a ********************************************************** 14 days theres no way you can cancel that in 14 days you gotta set a video appointment send in pictures to them of the molds wait for it to be approved to be sent in then ship them if approved and wait about a month to receive them it took me over a year to get my first terrible set! I also paied a extra $100.00 for insurance I would like a full refund can you please help me i wanted my smile to look better i got ripped off this is so depressing i have a grandson whos going to be 2 **************** I cant take pictures with him with a smile cause i thought I would have a nice smile I would not recommend this company to anyone!Business Response

I have been going through this for 16 months the sets of veneers they send me are awful I tried to cancel before the first set was ever made because I had to keep redoing impressions its not fair to me for them to keep my money and my extra $100.00 dollars i paid for insurance for something I cant use at least refund me 75% of my money back I will be happy with that! Feb 23rd, 2023 I made a purchase for $484.50 to Shiny Smile Veneer to get a set of veneer teeth both top and bottom done, to fix my smile. They shipped me a kit to make a mold of my teeth. At that time, I had a couple teeth needing to be pulled prior to attempting to set a mold of my teeth. I called to schedule a dentist appointment. My dentist appointment was several months out so I called a Shiny Veneer representative to make sure I would be okay doing my teeth mold later within the year. They said yes. After finally seeing my dentist, I was treated and was told I had an incurable bone and gum disease and they suggested how to clean my teeth and gums to slow the progression of the two diseases. They didn't pull the teeth at that appointment. So I had to reschedule that for another appointment. The 2nd appointment I was discriminated against as they asked me to get a release from my HIV specialist to pull an infected tooth. I reported this discrimination to the appropriate people online but never got resolution from that. So I had to find a dentist who would see me and accept my ******** to pull the rotten teeth. I found one and got the needed teeth removed. I contacted Shiny Veneer several times to inform them that because of gingivitis and Periodontal disease and HIV that I simply didn't any longer feel that veneers was going to be ideal for my health needs and I requested a refund. They asked me to email billing. I did email them several times over and over as well as call. They finally responded again that refund policy was past date. So I tried to do the mold myself with issues and none of my molds were submittable to create. So I called them to let them know their kit molding stuff didn't work after so many months and I feared it hardening on what repaired front teeth I had left. They said they could only issue me a new kit that I still could not receive a refund. I still have this kit. I can't do this mold. I can't wear veneers. I simply want a refund.Business Response

***** ******* I have tried emailing Shiny Smile to request a refund as advised by my dentist due to gum disease and tooth decay. I paid a down payment and set up the balance on a payment plan. Today I sent an email to the billing department. They have not even sent me a link to set up my account, so I’m not feeling comfortable about this company. I need to find out how to ship the kit back and how to stop payment plan plus get a refund for $350.75. The Terms and Conditions say I have 14 days so I’m getting scared that they won’t respond in a timely manner. On May 28th, 2024 i purchased a top and bottom set of Shiny Smile Veneers. After receiving my impression mold kit- it was clear that my dental health would not allow for a good mold, due to movement of my teeth. The impressions that WERE completed, were also detrimental to my current situation, as they were sub-standard to the impressions typically used by dentists and even led to further movement of my teeth, which was scary. I considered a remake, but I felt it would even further harm my dental health, which is due to complications of Lupus. I reached out to the provider and alerted them to this, but they were unable to connect me to someone to do the proper impressions and told me to find a dentist to do it for me- which is not a fair resolution as a regular dentist would be unfamiliar with these mold kits. After several back and fourth emails-we concluded that a refund was the best step, and they told me to email a separate department, which I did.That department told me that no refunds were to be given after the 14 day period, even though the website refers to a >15 MONTH warranty< (See attachment) and they were unwilling to properly understand my specific case, or honor their warranty.I made EVERY attempt to make this purchase successful for me, and I was excited that the results would be wonderful-until I actually starting making the impressions. This is a company that seemed to have a high level of integrity, but based on my experience, it has been a tremendous disillusion, and they were given the opportunity to refund my purchase-as I have exhausted all my options- but they declined.I am seeking a full refund of my $570.00 purchase.Business Response

On June 3rd, 2024, I purchased Shiny Smiles top and bottom veneers with express shipping and processing, totaling $634, feeling secure with their 100% satisfaction guarantee. This guarantee is not upheld as advertised. The package was sent out but was lost/damaged by the post office. I promptly informed Shiny Smiles and initiated an official investigation with the post office at their request. After 3 weeks the investigation confirmed the package was lost/damaged and that I never signed for the package.Despite this, Shiny Smiles was unhelpful and evasive about the resolution process, merely stating they would update me once investigation was complete. After confirmation of the lost/damaged package and Shiny smiles then informing me there was NO INSURANCE on the package containing the $600+ item, Shiny Smiles sent a replacement to the same address without consulting me, ignoring my preference for a more secure location. I did not want a replacement and expressed my dissatisfaction, requesting a refund instead.Shiny Smiles refused, citing that I missed the 14-day return window. This refusal only came after they had deliberately delayed the process by sending me to different departments, prolonging the situation for over a month. Their intentional delay caused me to miss the return window, which they then used as an excuse to deny my refund.I have repeatedly asked Shiny Smiles to cancel the replacement and issue a refund, but they continue to drag out the matter without providing a real solution. Their actions show a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and accountability, and their practices seem designed to frustrate customers and avoid issuing refunds at all costs. Come to find out from other unsatisfied customer that the ******************** are cheap PLASTIC and look like they are from a Halloween teeth set so they would rather send a replacement costing them cents to make compared the $600+ they charged and will not honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee.Business Response

I feel scammed ! After sending pictures of my teeth I was told that the veneers would be a good option for me . I went ahead and bought them and started the process . The impression process is next to impossible unless youre a trained dental assistant. Theyre attempting to provide dental care without X-rays and rely solely on pictures. After months of the impression process they send me a top veneer. It didnt fit and now I cant get a refund . *** paid hundreds of dollars for nothing . The veneers are not meant for my type of teeth . I should have never been approved for them. They only approved me so they could make money . They knew my veneers would never fit . I would t recommend anyone buy this product . It was a waste of my money . The reviews on the website seem to be fake .
