I bought a 2015 Nissan Altima from this business in June or July. Car drove fine, ran fine all that, no issues. Stayed updated on oil changes all that. Recently i got into a car accident , someone hit me from the back which caused me to slam into someone else from the back. The driver behind me was labeled at fault and I’ve been handling the claim through her insurance. It didn’t take long for me to receive my payout for the body damage. Then about 2-3 days later i started having mechanical issues. So i reported it back to my adjuster who was through Progressive and told him what was going on. Mind you i never had any warnings lights on up until the accident. My car started jerking, and kept making all kinds of noises ever since. So he proceeded to say you would have to take it to a shop and they would have to communicate it back to me that the mechanical issues are related to the accident. Ok boom i bring it to a couple network shops they’re not giving me any answers. So I’m still paying on the and my lienholder is wondering why no payments are being made, i let them know what’s going on with the car they was like ok well tow it to us to see what’s going on and if it’s related. Copy pie days go by, no call or text. So i end up calling them myself for a update, the lady said the technician said no it isn’t related. I’m like how? I just bought the car and this is my first accident and the outside damage isn’t bad at all so I’m confused how one accident can cause a vehicle to go to trash?? She’s like well it is a 2015. In like that doesn’t matter because my last vehicle was a 2013 and that vehicle has been in two accident and i never had any mechanical issues. She said well that car is a 2015 and has history codes. So i proceeded to say so y’all selling broke cars? Lemons?? Hiding damage and if something happens yall are gonna make ppl pay outta pocket?? I really need help this isn’t right.
