I purchased extra warranty protection on a motorcycle through Fuel Capital. My motorcycle was stolen 11/22. These extra warranties were supposed to be cancelled/refunded. I filed all the appropriate paperwork 12/22. Received the approval for cancellation 1/23. The amounts/paperwork were to be forwarded to the dealership to refund to the loan company. As of 4/23 none of this has been done. I've been making additional payments for 4 months with interest accruing daily. The paperwork with the warranties says they handle in 30 days and still nothing. I've been in contact with the dealership and they as well have tried to get the information/paperwork to no avail. it's over $1800 and I'd like this handled.

Strike Acceptance (Strike) is in receipt of the above referenced consumer complaint, and appreciates this matter being brought to our attention.  At Strike we take pride in providing first class service to our customers and appreciate the opportunity to address this matter.

****************** motorcycle was subject to a total loss claim. Here are the details:
Total loss claim was settled by primary insurance on 11/28/23 in the amount of $11,555.94.
Safeguard GAP payment received on 01/31/23 in the amount of $1,852.37.
Safeguard Tire & Wheel refund received 02/20/23 in the amount of $506.98.
Safeguard warranty refund is to come from the selling dealer **************** to Strike Acceptance.  We requested this refund from Mint on 02/28/23 and have not heard back from the dealer. The amount requested from Mint was $1,677.21.

There is presently a balance owing on the account in the amount of $1,764.79 after all credits. Perhaps **************** can put pressure on the dealer to submit the refund to Strike Acceptance. The amount due from Mint nearly clears the balance on Mr. ****** account.

Strike Acceptance makes every effort to ensure our operations are consistent and compliant with the requirements of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA),Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and all other applicable fair lending laws.If you require further assistance, you may contact ** at ************** during our normal business hours, Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (PST).

    Respectfully,

    ***************************

Per the dealer, they are awaiting a refund from Fuel Capital to be able to finalize the payment.  I've been in contact with them since February.  This is on Fuel Capital which is whom the complaint is against.
