      i am not liable for this debt with the defenders" EXETER FINANCE LLC this debt was settle and was suppose to be deleted out of my account immediately payment on 03/04/2023 i am in the process on closing on my mortgage , up on looking at my credit. i see the inaccuracy because of the inaccuracy is causing a lot of duress and stress because if i don't get this account to stop reporting on my account TODAY nd DELETED. I can lose my deposit. I need This to Stop reporting and remove from my account As soon as possible.

      this is being reported inaccurately first off all 
      its not suppose to be on my credit reports, because it was sold to a 3rd party collection ( which i paid this debt ) i previously attached the file 
      the law give me the right to dispute and have all the bureau remove , things that are inaccurate , cause injuries on my report. 
      i hope BBB will be help me and avoid stalling because my level of stress is higher by day and night .

      I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. 

      please remove all my previous comments, i was mis-inform, i was under the impression from my lender,  i thought someone open a new account on my name , i am so-so sorry, i was asking for a favor,  instead for good a gesture to see how i can save some more money . so I take my time to write to you, for to ask for a favor, I am in the process of closing on my first-time home, after struggling for years, i paid with you all my mistake to get this opportunity , in just a few days, praise God, I come from far only my lord knows, from abuse , divorce, what I had to overcome from divorce and abuse. to be here today asking you guys to help me too. Kindly. to see if i the bureau can be inform to remove the paid account for me.. hopefully that will help me with a better interest. 

      also i do not want, to have this information public. just a private message the company for a good faith. thank you..

      I reviewed my Consumer Reports and noticed that there was an Fraudulent account on my credit report. Exeter Finance ACCT# ******************** company has been made aware of this fraudulent account via certified mail on several occasions. I have submitted an FTC Complaint, and Police Report concerning this matter. And Exeter Finance is refusing to honor my reports, also they're updating the address on this fraudulent account to match my address, so that this fraudulent account would comeback verified. That is highly illegal, and unethical for them to do such things. Exeter Finance have assumed a vital role and have a responsabilty to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with Maximum Accuracy, and they are seriously in the wrong here for reporting an fraudulent account that has been opened illegally. I contacted Exeter Finance and asked for them to investigate & remove the fraudulent account from my consumer report that they are illegally reporting and i requested specifically the alleged original application bearing my signature they have not been able to provide such proof to me. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and this disputed item may not appear on my credit report if it cannot be supported by any evidence or proof.

      My first inital payment i made with this company of Exeter Finance which was my car note of the payment of $534.88. I made this payment on a friday being the payment was not going to upload until the next following active business day of monday. I accidentally pressed another payment for june 1st. Hoping that their system can detect a duplicate payment they will cancel, no they still went and continued the transaction from the june 1st and took it out my account june 6th. Now the merchant wont give me money back and the policy they keep referring to is not on the website. Their policy is due to the payment being online we cannot refund u it has to be on the payment with us over the phone . Never heard of a company not having a active policy online for a courtesy.

      I have an auto loan with Exeter finance that was opened March of 2022 and was charged off / Closed November 2022. The company has since then repoed the vehicle twice and added additional fees to the account. The total amount I have paid to them is $11,552.78. I still receive calls from the company demanding payment of the monthly premium and being told if I am unable to keep up the car would be reposed again. Initially when I purchased the vehicle the horn did not work causing a safety hazard.

      I paid bill for ***** in May. During May it showed I owed $0 for ***** after paying. The next month it said I owed $700 in *****. Aside from charging more than $17 per $100 per year which is illegal in *******. This company does shady things like double charging. They also reported I paid ***** to Credit Karma but not to Experian.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Exeter Finance regarding an unauthorized account that has been reported on my credit report. Despite my efforts to resolve this issue directly with Exeter Finance, the account remains on my report.Details of the unauthorized account are as follows:Creditor Name: Exeter Finance Opened Date: 3/13/2021 Account Number: *****************I have never applied for or opened an account with **********************. This account's presence on my credit report is negatively impacting my credit score and financial standing. I have contacted Exeter Finance to dispute this account and provided the necessary documentation to support my claim that this account is fraudulent. Despite my efforts, the account has not been removed from my credit report.I request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter and assist in getting this unauthorized account removed from my credit report. Exeter Finance should take immediate action to correct this error and ensure that no further unauthorized accounts are reported in my name.Thank you for your assistance in resolving this urgent matter.
