    This roofer Installed my gutter and roof incorrectly. They are in cahoots with a Solar company that damaged my roof severely. I'm dealing with the Solar company through arbitration however The roofer did not replace the underlayment and installed the gutters incorrectly which may lead to wood rot and further damage. They also filed for supplemental with my insurance and failed to provide me with an Adjusted contract showing supplemental request as required by law. They also did not inform me they were filing for a supplemental. As you can see from the fully paid contract no mention of supplemental. I made a verbal agreement from the Owner Ahad that I would keep the supplemental check in the amount of $3800 and both parties would walk away. However, they are now allowing the shady solar company to go after about $5K worth of money they are saying I did not pay them. I will have to file a separate lawsuit against this Roofing company if I can't resolve this matter with them. I have 2 independent roofing companies willing to testify that their installation wasn't correct. IF they honor their verbal agreement I will let this go however, the other option is for them to redon my roof correctly and reinstall them correctly installed gutters. I will file a lawsuit if there is no resolution.

    Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/06/23) */ Hi! I am the owner of Red Carpet Roofing. I hope you are doing well. Our company works with a solar company that always sends their clients our way if any roof is needed before or after the installation. One Client from the Solar company required a roof replacement before the solar panels were installed. We agreed on a bid with the mutual Client and finished our work. After the roof was established, the solar company went to install panels and damaged the brand new roof. The solar company made an insurance claim, and the Insurance company paid the mutual Client for another brand new roof. However, the solar company hired an attorney to sue the mutual Client for the remainder of the money owed to them. This did not stick well with the mutual Client. Resolved: I called the Client and verbally agreed that I would not be participating in this dispute, and we decided to shake hands and keep the relationship healthy after he posted this complaint on the BBB. Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2022/06/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I agree Red Carpet roofing did the right thing by not aligning with the Solar Company with whom I have legal proceedings with to resolve their installation and support. Red CArpet an dI have agreed to mutually release each other from any liability. This was promised to me by the owner of Red Carpet. I cannot comment further until all proceedings have finalized but Red Carpet was unnecessarily dragged into this because of their partnership with ***************. I'm hopeful we can all put this behind us soon.
