  We went to Kwik Kar Lube and Tune today to get idle in our van fixed. After them running diagnostics they said it would be the Gasket replaced. However, if they had done the pressure test they would have known that even fixing the Gasket wouldn't have fixed the idle issue. I have statements from multiple other mehanic shops saying this. The work shouldn't have been done. They charged us $824, $350 of the work isn't what they said they would do. They never told us about a 6 cylc tune up. **** is the owner and threated to call the police on us. After doing research he has done this to multiple other people. he should know longer be in business. He just screwed over a military family right before christmas. So now we still have a broken van and we spent $824 for literally NOTHING! **** said it wasn't his problem. No paperwork was signed before work was done, but he threatened to call the cops on my husband for frauding us into paying for work we never agreed on. My husband is in the military and cannot have that happen. He knew that and took advantage of him.

  He came in said he replace cyl @3 coil and few spark plug and his misfiring did not go away.  We quoted him 150 for diagnostic, not one you get at AutoZone or orally.  While there he wanted full tune and ignition coil that he put in from Autozone to be replaced may be faulty.  And injector at cylinder 3 replaced.  We quoted him 380 additional labor plus part like fuel injector for cylinder 3, spark plug OEM, intake gasket set. While he walking out he said what estimate about ******* ballpark.  I told him what ever part cost we pass to you. Addition to labor l.

  after spending 5 hours in car we found during diagnostic car he has low compression on engine cylinder 3.  Which is engine damage.  We actually ran fulll diagnostics like, node test, pcm test, live data stream. Etc. 

  We advise him of our findings.  
  

  he refuses to pay $859.00 plus tax and shop supply and for our labor time on car.  
  

  He said I thought you said 750.  I never agree to price he had mind.  His thing is you did not fixed my car but charging me.

  my car runs same way I bought it.  You need engine replacement or major repairs to cylinder 3 which only has 80psi.  That was not scope of work.  
  

  we went way beyond to help, this customer includes replacement of coil and exchange with AutoZone no cost to customer for our time.  
  

  We took off 80 off his ticket for spark plug parts and charge 750 plus shop supply and tax. 
  

  I have nothing to offer to this customer and nor do any Kwik Kar want to work on car due to his behavior and scene he created in our shop.

  I am rejecting this response because:

   

  No we came into get idle fixed. We had stated we had alredy fixed the cylinder 3 and spark plug. 

   

  They ran their test and said it needed a gasket and that that would be $600. He didn't have us sign any paperwork stating that price. We NEVER agreed to 6 Clyinder Tune up. And He should have done the compression test FIRST thing and he would of known that the gasket change and the rest of the owrk we didn't agree upon would have been useless. 

  We came to him to fix the idle and he did not fix that and he charged $850! 

   

  He does this to multiple other people after reviewing reviews all over the area. He likes to threaten to call the cops to show video proof that he did work, but the people never asked him to do that work and he attacks military families because he knows they can't get in trouble with the cops. 

  He is the one that caused the scene, I have multiple screen shots from others who have had the same experience.

   

  The employee working at his facility even said we shouldn't have been charged for the 6 cylinder tune up. We can use him as a witness. We didn't agree for that at all. We had already done the spark plug change so he shouldn't have even touched that. We had already told him that. Again, he did work that we did not agree for.

   

  He told us he was only doing gasket, but again if he had ran the compression test FIRST!! He would of known none of the work should have been done. He says no other Kwik *** wants to do work with us when he isn't part of the rest of Kwik Kar.. He is the sole of the one in *************. 

   

  We are taking legal action with JAG since he is purposely taking advantage of military families and we have a witness stating he does this to multiple customers and he scammed us. We went there for idle fix so it was scope of work and did not fix the idle just had us do a lot of pointless work. So we are in the same positions and we spent $850 at his shop. He just messed up a military family before Christmas. That is really low.

  I have nothing to offer to this customer.  Furthermore, I am pursuing this our legal department for deformation lawsuit will be file against this person for filing fake review with ****** and other legal reasons that that not aware of law.
