I took an account with ******************** consumers/ First National Bank only to have nothing but problems with them. First off, I was given a lot of misinformation about their terms and conditions on the account. was also told that if I had any problems, I could contact them at the branch which is not true, a person cannot even get ahold of them via phone. There is a ***** monthly fee if you do not do twelve debits per month which has been hard for me to do since the bank kept putting holds on my card and issued me a new card that took forever to get. I have had to call to get the status of the card, reorder, etc. since they sent it to the wrong address, etc. (As a result of not having the card, when I needed it or holds, I have had to pay monthly fees when I should not have). They have REFUSED to budge and refund the fees that I asked them to. On top of this, I had a REG E claim that I kept trying to do, I would call during business hours and they would always tell me that I would "need to call back" ********* has made it nearly impossible to deal with. I feel that I am always told that I am in the wrong as a customer. I have had a background in banking in the past and feel that they are not always following procedures in their disputes, etc. that are required by law. I put money in the account and they are still putting this on hold to keep my account in overdrawn status which is very frustrating as well. I am asking that they would be more fair with me.

On August 8th, 2024, I want to the First National Bank/ First Convenience Bank located in the ******* on ******************* in ********, and attempted to get my 401k Hardship loan deposited. The bank tellers told me that since it was over $1000 dollars, there would be a hold, however, I was given a $1750.00 credit. Of the credit, I only used $760.00. When I checked my bank account, I was in a negative *******. I'm outraged because my account has never been in a negative with this bank, as I only opened it on 7/29/24, and I had close to $1000 dollars left in my account. I am demanding a full refund of my remaining amount and I am demanding that any fees be reversed as they have been erroneously applied. I never signed up for Overdraft Protection so there should not be overdraft fees. I'm willing to take this to court and I will also ask that federal criminal charges be filed if this mistake is not promptly corrected!

On May 12,24 I was fraudulently charged $712.40 at a souvenir shop in ****** called Clipmx ropa. They were supposed to charge me in PESOS and they charged me in dollars without me knowing. The transaction amount in dollars is around $39. I filed a complaint with First Convenience Bank and they gave me a provisional credit of $671. On July 16th they reversed the provisional credit and stated the investigation was complete with no real evidence or explanation as to why. I DID NOT SPEND $712 AT A MEXICAN SOUVENIR SHOP. I BOUGHT T-SHIRT, LIGHTER, ASH TRAY AND SHOT GLASS WHICH IS NOTHING CLOSE TO $712. I want my money back.

I am rejecting this response because:

The amount was supposed to be in pesos. I dont know how clearer I can get. I also didnt sign a receipt. I didnt spend $700 at a SOUVENIR shop  I bought a tshirt, a lighter, ash tray, and a shot glass. None of which total $700. I was scammed. The clerk ran my card in 3 different terminals because he said he was having issues. But he was simply trying to distract me  I DID NOT SPEND $700 AT A SOUVENIR SHOP

I am rejecting this response because:

reciept is falsified. Look at the signature compared to the receipt. I did not spend $712 US dollars at a fckin Mexican tourist shop. What could I have possibly bought for that amount. The items I bought do not amount to $712.

May 25th 2023 my auto surance was canceled and I had no idea. I've been having an automatic draft come out my account for quite some time and the one time I didn't have enough in my account to pay it my bank decides not to pay it even though I've had overdraft protection for at least a decade with First Convenience Bank and have stayed in the positive mode in my account for practically the whole time until I had a tragedy happen in my family so I have went negative a few times due to that incident, but have never repeatedly stayed in it as you can see. I have went to several branches in my area and they all had different stories and excuses to why it wasn't paid. The ******************** Texas manager told me I was negative more than 7 days straight so they don't honor overdraft protection after that which was a lie. Inwasnt even negative at the time. Then I went to another branch in ******************** and the manager there told me that my overdraft was only $100 at the time so that's why it wasn't paid and that it fluctuates from time to time with how much overdraft protection I have. I've never had that or heard of that happening to me. My direct deposit has been going into that account for 10 years and the thing that bothers me is that nobody offered to sit me Me down, explain and, show me on paper all the transactions history. They just Happened decided to give me word of mouth and expect me to accept what they say. Something kept telling me to go back and get a print out and eveytime I went back they said we can't go back more than 3 months. That only happened when I gave them the whole story about being canceled, but when I did t tell them anything they gladly presented me with the printout. I've been to at least 2 branches and they said they would do an ?? but never did. I lost my insurance and I had an accident afterwards and have been going back and forth this whole time. I'm tired frustrated angry exhausted and ready to get a lawyer and alert ALLY Auto

They lead me to believe that my check has been approved in an email so I clicked submit. Leading me to believe that my check is going to be deposited in two hours. Then later on when its too late to cancel the transaction, they put it on hold for five business days. Now my family and I are going days without food. This issue could've been avoided if they'd been forthcoming and honest with the truth, instead of being deceptive. I wouldn't have uploaded the check on the mobile app if they'd told me that they were going to hold it for five business days. I had other options, I don't need to go through them. I want my $902.68 back.

I am rejecting this response because: It was unnecessary to place my paycheck in such a long hold. I was not notified of the hold until after I could not cancel the deposit. Your customers should be given the choice. Let them know IT WILL BE placed on hold instead of it may be...I have been with the bank for over 9+ years and to put my family through such a financial hardship was just malicious all the while you earn interest on my money and my family goes with out. The whole time you could release it like you did manually. I have another paycheck tomorrow. Do I go through y'all and wait 5-7 days or will you release it if I call you?

Was approached by a teller in ******* on 6-28-2024 , I only decided to reopen an account here at the branch at ****************************** I was deceived and told all prior fees would be waived. Lie #1 , on Friday June 28 I deposited a check and saw $114.45 was deducted for an old waived fee. Lie 2 your check will post immediately, no I was only allowed $300 of which $100 I took out then and there. Leaving a pending $400 for 3 business days. The next day I look and my account is negative $295 approximately. How, the math simply doesnt Add up. It seems fraud runs rampant in this institution! Look at the screenshot, how in the real world does that equal Negative $295 and change?
