  We bought an Oak Creek Home last summer. We picked out the home and due to the city we were moving to, it took longer than expected. Due to permits, re-zoning etc. Anyway, the model home we looked at was the model we wanted. So, due to the lenght of time it took, the sales person offered for us to buy the model home (I now refer to it as the parking lot model) so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. We went for it. BIG MISTAKE! Mind you we went in the home once. The other time I saw it was on video from the sales person, When we got it delivered, in December, I discovered that the appliance weren't the upgades like I was told. The oven is off by 25 degrees, and doesn't even have an oven cleaner (upgrade, I think not). Also was told they would replace but haven't. The refrigerator has been replaced once due to the ice maker not working. They brought out the same model and brand and it has a crack on the inside top, I told them about that. They told me to contact the manufacturer. I shouldn't have to. It's supposed to be new. They put it it. Dishwasher is horrible. The kitchen sink is bent up and scratched, grouting all over the edges. Their contractor said it needs to be replaced. The grouting is horrible in every drain, looks dirty due to just piling it in the drains, Caulking is missing in so many places...now ants are coming in. Trim boards and cabinets door coming off. Trim boards coming off the outside. For 6 months now I have been asking them to replace/fix these issues and now they are just ignoring me. Their reply is "I seen it and was in it". I told them I was in it ONCE and was just looking at it at that point so I did not inspect it from top to bottom. This is heartbreaking to us and just a shame. The have taken well over $100K from us and now crickets! They did fix some issues but not all of them. None that I have mention above. Would not recomend them to my worst enemy....

  We bought a brand new Oak Creek manufactured home and from the start when the home was delivered had nothing but problems. Very unprofessional individuals from the office manager, the individual who did the finish out, and the ones who "married" the home together. We have had nothing but problems with the home from the start, and going up to corporate to try to get issued fixed has been a night mare. The issues are still not fixed with only living in the home for six months. The brand commitment on their voice mail holds no weight and these people couldn't care less about having your home be the best quality as stated in the brand commitment. We have cracks in the walls, plumbing leaks from faulty plumbing lines, that we paid for out of pocket and have to have the hole repaired ourselves. I would NEVER recommend anyone buying a home through them.
