Visited the dentist on 6/30/23 and was never provided a treatment plan or any follow up whatsoever. I called and left multiple messages, received 1 return call that I missed and again I made multiple attempts to reach them and no response. As my next (pre)scheduled appt was coming up, then suddenly I heard from them trying to confirm. I went to my appt on 2/9 where I was informed that my condition had greatly worsened due to no treatment. I also was charged $194.80 and given a treatment plan. ****** said she would contact my insurance to confirm what would be covered in that plan and call me in a couple of days. I have heard nothing. I have again left several messages and emailed. No response. Then I receive an invoice emailed to me demanding payment for $35. No explanation. Im not sure what to do from this point and if a lawsuit needs to be filed or a complaint with the dental board. I am a long time customer of this dentist and cannot even believe how sad this business has become and I now have to waste more of my time dealing with the lack of care and professionalism and write this complaint because a business of providing health services is ripping people off and not doing their job. I want a refund for my $194.80 and whatever this unexplained new charge of $35 is removed.

I am the primary for our family's dental insurance through Aetna. My wife **** had a crown installed by ************************** on September 5, 2023. The estimate provided by the practice on July 31, 2023 was for $600.50 (without nitrous) and she was charged at the time of service $743.01. When **** questioned the office staff when paying at time of service, she was told that the estimate was only valid for 30 days, despite her taking the first available opening when the estimate was provided. This was not mentioned at the time of booking the appointment and numerous attempts to receive a refund of the $142.51 difference have been unsuccessful. As you can see in the attached emails, I have attempted to contact the at the email address provided by the office manager "*********" without success. I called the provider one final time on October 19, 2023 before filing this complaint and left a message for ********* as the office staff said she was at lunch after I stated my name (at ~2pm). She returned my call a few hours later, stating she had not seen my emails because they had not been forwarded by the one person in the office that reads the practice email. When asked, she stated she did not need me to forward them again. She stated she understood my concerns (and was aware I was going to submit a claim to the BBB) and stated she would call back Friday morning after speaking to her manager and never did. I need your help to receive a refund for the overpayment we made as multiple attempts to work with this provider have been ignored. Its important to point out that you should also read the narrative in the original email I sent to the practice. The lack of a standard of care when an issue arises is certainly not what anyone would want. I can only hope that the doctors are simply not aware of what is occuring in the front office as there are now a few recent complaints logged at BBB and in the ****** reviews similar to the one I am logging here.
