    In October 2021, I purchased an Econolift boat lift from *** Lakescapes and had them install it at our ******* Since then, the lift has failed three times, causing thousands of dollars of damage to my boat. Each time the owner, *********************, expressed disbelief that the failure was possible, each time promised that they had finally fixed the issue in consultation with the manufacturer. During the last failure two days ago, the boat swung widely on the lift, crashing my boat into the dock box, and the sides of the slip riping out one of the lines and riping the shore power line in two. The dock box was smashed off and floated away. The boat has both structural and cosmetic damage. *** lakescapes owner **** is refusing to provide his insurance carrier so a claim can be filed. I can no longer trust my boat on this lift and the *** Lakescapes installation and will have to replace it with one that has proven its structural integrity.
