I ordered curtain panels for my home and was given an approximate delivery date. I'm highly disappointed as Part of my order had been delivered early and had gone missing or was stolen. After confirming with ******************* customer service I was told that I needed to file a police report in order to get my money back which was NOT listed anywhere on my email notification of delivery ..it only listed that sometimes packages say delivered when they haven't been, or it's arriving separately and of course to either contact them or the carrier. ******************* policy is knowingly deceitful and unfair as I'm forced to do their job in order to get my money back! I was even told by the service representative " well that's what we require in order to ascertain that we get our money back too." I called corporate and they confirmed it as well, stating that they'd be sure to let management know, which I call BS on as I'm certain this is NOT the first time this has happened or a customer has complained. I will never order from them again and have it shipped to my home!J C Penney Company, Inc.

I like J C Penny stores; but since they decided to put the wrong address on my bill ; it got sent back to the them they decided to charge me an extra $63 dollars on my bill for their mistake. I don't think I should be charge for their mailing error. I been a loyal customer so I don't want my reputation mess up, my credit and I been doing good on paying on time. The reason I am late, because they did not send my bill to right address the said on the phone. They put the wrong address on it! I been patiently waiting for them to send it to me. They sent it late, because they mess up my address, but they are charging me a late charge, if the don't remove, I will be closing my card from them.J C Penney Company, Inc.

@jcp on 8/31 at approximately 6pm I was shopping at your location in **************. I went to purchase a new pillow and grabbed one that was signed $34.99. These pillows and signage was on a front endcap. When the employee rang it up the price was $99.99. I explained to her that there is a sign that stated that those pillows were $34.99. I walked back and took a picture to shower her. Meanwhile two more employees came over and by this time I walked two employees over to the pillows with the incorrect signage. They explained to me that they will not honor the price. They also did not show me the pillow that was actually $34.99. I know this all might sound ***** for a pillow but I think the most disappointing part was that the problem was not corrected. The employee ********* walked away from the area with the price accuracy issue and did not remove the signage. Being a store in ********** I'm sure you are aware of the price accuracy laws. For JCP I hope weights and measures does not come out to audit your location in ************** because they would fail. #dobetterjcpJ C Penney Company, Inc.

1 starI started this journey in December 2021. Through Uniters Warranty I would be getting a replacement loveseat. Finally, in July, Uniters emailed JCP that someone would contact me to set up a replacement shipping date. JCP insists they never got the email, even though I did. I spent 2 days on the phone with JCP last week and spoke to multiple people and all had different answers. One said I had to pay for the item. Nicole said someone will call back in 2-3 days. To date, no one has called me back. Now I have to waste another day being transferred all over the place because no one knows what the hell they are talking about. What happened to JCP? Used to be my "Go To" store, but now I give all my business to Kohls. DO NOT BUY ANY LARGE ITEMS FROM THIS STORE.Review fromCarol P

I think I got scammed on my order, I othered a dress on August 10, 2022, I checked my on line order on August 19, 2022, it said it was delivered on October of 2021 ( ordered this year and it said delivered last year) I called customer service and they said it was a glitch and should have it the next day which was August 20,2022. Still no dress, I called today August 25,2022 and I got the same answer it was a glitch, so of course I cancelled the order and wanted a confirmation number that I cancelled and the lady told me they don't do that. Called up my credit card company to let them know I think I was scammed. Will not shop or order from JC Penney again.J C Penney Company, Inc.

I went into the store for their home sale on all Home and Decor. And I noticed some pretty crazy deals so i moved through different depts and spend about 4-500. I had a need for a deep massager and purchased online for store pick up, it was not going to be ready the same day so i went in and purchased it and cancelled my store pick up but kept the shipped item. I was refunded the next day 109.86. And then i was charged 109.86 on the 15th of August when the shipped out the 8.86 shipped to home item. which mind you was already paid for the day i placed the initial order. I could not get in touch with anyone to help me and when i did they kept saying how they couldn't help me , it was so and so. im so mad right now. How are they charging me for items i never got and then when i ask why this charge happened I'm told to talk to the bank. I am mad, i made a complaint with corporate and now BBB. Be careful i think this company is falling fast and their support is wackJ C Penney Company, Inc.

1 starOnly one star, because 0 isn't an option. I purchased a suit from this store online then received a notice that the jacket was out of stock but they were still sending the rest of the suit. I attempted to cancel the order as without the jacket the suit is useless. After being told there was no way to do this, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Bought a mattress on line 7/24/22. Delivered damage 8/12/22. JCP made us pay for a new one. The refund will not be executed until after the damaged one is picked up and the new one delivered. Husband only applied for JCP charge card for this purchase. Had to use my Discover card. Discount would have void warranty. Ridiculous!.J C Penney Company, Inc.

Ron DeHaven is the customer. He has scheduled a pick up. Reference #PXXXXXXK601V02K3A. Date 7/30/22. Catalog invoice XXXXXXXX. He has made a claim with the BBB. $1611.70 is the price. We have never had to pay for a replacement item. One CS rep said the new mattress must be paid for before ordering. Not my problem. Discover contacted me for a fraud alert. Discover was charged 8/12/22. Discover credited 8/19/22 at 1204. Mattress had never been ordered. Charged again at 12:40. CS said they didn't have details. Discover provided the information without any delay on one phone call.,, We have never received such poor service from a major company. We were able to pay for a second mattress. Most people are not financially able to. Husband was on the phone with several people for an hour or more. He finally ended the call with no satisfaction. Mattress Firm delivered a better mattress for a better price within two weeks. A sale was lost because poor business practices.J C Penney Company, Inc.

The customer was already scheduled for pickup on 9/9/22, and all cases were closed as resolved.
Once the order is returned then we are able to refund the customer.

I had 2 different orders and had to return because the shirts were too small! They were more for a smaller person size M! I received a 2xl. I requested to return. They sent me 2 return labels. Little did I know I would have to pay the shipping from the 2 different orders being sent to me and I had to pay the shipping for returning these 2 orders! That is crazy!!! I order from different companies all the time and if I need to return, I never pay anything! I will never order from JC Penney's again!!! No wonder they have bad reviews and they are about to go out of business!!!J C Penney Company, Inc.
