3/26 - we financed a car from this dealership. We were told by the agent that 1st payment is deferred for 45 days do 1st payment will be around May 10 or 12. We were signing the contract and thinking they will follow what was said. Nobody explained the contract because that time it was after 9 PM and they wanted to finished everything so we can get out fast. We requested a paper copy of the contract but they did not give any before we left. -we got a mail saying our payment is due on 4/27.-4/14 - went to talk to them in person and the manager talked to us. His name is **** ******. This guy was very dismissive and rude, he wont give us a chance to finish telling our concerns and just said we cant do anything about your problem. He refused to give his name or a call card. When i asked if we can escalate the problem to Toyota **************** he said no and just said this conversation is over.

I am filing a complaint against Keating Toyota in ******, ** regarding deceptive sales practices during the purchase of my vehicle on April 5, 2025. The dealership advertised the 2025 Toyota ************** at $56,093. I was offered a $2,000 discount, bringing the agreed price to $54,093. I made a $10,000 down payment and was told ** be financing the remaining amount. However, during the financing process, the dealership inflated the final price to $66,074, by including several expensive and undisclosed add-ons without my clear consent. These included: Apex GPS $4,595 Windshield Protection $2,106 Paint Protection $1,821 Sales Tax $4,089.76 ( I understand that this is not always included) Only $1,399 of the $4,595 Apex charge went to the vendor, with the remainder kept by the dealer a markup I was never informed about when I signed the first offer. Despite the agreed price of $54,093, I ended up financing $58,533.31 and will pay $76,375.40 total over 60 months with a 4.99% APR. That is over $22,000 more than the advertised and agreed-upon vehicle price. I am requesting that the dealership remove or refund the unauthorized charges, especially the Apex GPS, Windshield Protection, and Paint Protection. Additionally, I was not given the printed Purchase Information Screen paper that I signed where the general manager told us the sales price. The itemization of amount financed form also initially did not disclose the other charges, we only received these other documents when wee returned to complain. I believe this is a clear violation of Texas consumer protection laws and deceptive business practices. Date - 03/19/2025 Was lied to when signing the finance paper work. After asking if I was required to have all the apex protection an toyota care in order to get financed through toyota, was told yes I had to get it. Was in a state of duress so felt like I had to sign. After reading the contracts it was all lies. Everything can be canceled with in 30 days of the signing. So that's what I am trying to do. Unfortunately the dealer ship seems to be giving me the run around. Also found they financed the sales tax at ********* instead of ******. Would like help getting these add ons taken off. I'm still within my cancel date, to get full refund

I made a purchased of a pre owned LS500 on 10-10-2022. I had a trade and cash deal. The next day I attempted to return the car based on the fact it had paint over spray and the dealer claimed it never was involved in accidents. I requested to get a refund and the dealer refused inspite they were aware of the condition of the car.

On 8/29/2024 I bought a car from subject business. I paid cash for the vehicle a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu the advertised price was $16,693.00 I was charged $18,337.59 plus tax fees $495.00 plus $1,085.66 minus $1,000.00 for my trade in. The total amount that I was charged for the vehicle was $18,918.25. The salesman told me the extra charge was to take care of any scratch marks or future blemishes their body shop would take care of them for me at no charge. I said thats fair enough Ill accept. I visited with the Sales Manager *** ******** and he tells me a different story he tells me the $1,644.50 is for reconditioning the car. I told Mr ******** that didnt make sense because the car was ready to sell when I seen it advertised on the internet for $16,693.00. I sincerely hope you can help me because Im 80 years old and that extra money that I had to pay set me back since I rely on my Social Security to pay my living expenses. Thank you in advance for your help, if you have any questions feel free to call me at ************ PS I am retired and unable to work due to a stroke I had and left me with numbness and weakness on my right side. I do have documentation on my stroke if anyone needs proof.

I purchased a used car from keating Toyota in February along with extra warranty (apex) I was talked into by finance department. I noticed a loud sound in ac the purchase day but was told by the sales guy it was only because it had been sitting for a couple months.. and to let him know if it doesnt stop. A couple weeks after the ac stopped being cold on and off so I brought it back to keating they kept it a couple days and gave me a car to use in the meantime. When I got it back it was cold they gave me no paper or any information on what they did. It stopped being cold a couple weeks after that.. was told it was past 30 days couldnt help me. Since Ive been trying to get info from them on what they did but they wont give me anything. Been put on hold over and over and no calls back from managers that I have left messages for. I have spoke to the sales guy since the work they did and all he would tell me is that they had to change the canister because it was the wrong size I dont know what they did but it should be so secret. So with my ac completely hot I took it to dodge dealership and had to pay $5600 to get it all replaced. I was told the ** had 25 percent wrong Freon in it and 75 percent correct Freon so whole system was bad and nothing was covered due to an aftermarket piece installed by keating. I would like to know if possible to get reimbursed for the charges that I had to pay to repair the issues it obviously had when I bought it that keating knew how to mask and left unbeknownst to me buying the car and the extra warranty that was void immediately that costed me an extra almost $4500 when I bought the vehicle. Thanks and I really hope you can help me resolve this issue.

I purchased a vehicle from Keating on 8/10/24. I informed the salesman, ****, that I did not want the add-ons/additional warranty. He informed me that he would take off the Windshield Protection and GPS from the price of the car. When I went to finance and ***** had me sign the paper about the Windshield Protection and GPS, I told him that it was not suppose to be on there. He said, "oh no, you got a good deal". After reviewing my contract the next day, the price of the Windshield Protection and GPS was on the contract for $1000 each and an additional ************ contract of $3500 which I was not even informed about was on the contract as well. The price on the website was one price, but the salesman gave me a different price of the vehicle then discounted $2000 to come up with the price that was on the website. The cars that I had originally went to the dealership to look at, they "couldnt find the keys". I am happy with my purchase but I am not happy with the deceitfulness and the lies that I have received from the salesman/finance department. I put a $10,000 down payment down for my car. Resolution I would like is at least the ************ Contract of $3500 refunded.

7/29:I go into Keating Toyota for service, and I wanted to get a print out of my previous lease I purchased from that that I was currently leasing. While I was there, I figured Id also discuss my options regarding trading in, since my lease was over in 12 months. I made my intentions clear that I wanted to stay within my price range to my sales person Amrico. I ended up looking into 2024 Tundras. I wanted to get some options for a 1794 edition Tundra. Amrico took me into the office if ***** N, who claimed he was a partner in the dealership. This new transaction will now be our 3rd one through Toyota Financing, which me and my husband are both on. ***** asked if he can do a credit check, I said yes as in yes you can check my credit. Not only did he state it would be a soft inquiry, but he also ran my husbands credit without his consent, and he was not even present. ***** continues to try to use the scare tactic on me regarding the Car Fax of my vehicle, and pushes for $1034/mo payment on the 1794 edition. I said no thank you and walked away. **** then tried bringing me back and after further negotiations, long story short, he offers me the lowest trim Tundra, for $709/mo. In an attempt to leave the deal, I was not happy with the vehicle, I tell Amrico my husband asked that I wait and Ill be leaving. To which Amrico stated theres a reason why I got divorced, which I did not appreciate. 7/30:I begin shopping elsewhere and ****** offers a Tundra that I really liked, overall for $730/month. I was happy with the deal, they offered me 47k for my vehicle, we left to drive 40 minutes back to dealership. After waiting on finance for 3 hours, its 11:00pm now, when signing the papers we notice something in the trade in value. They not only didnt give us $47k as promised, but $39k, totalling - $1000 equity. They claimed, taxes are coming out of your trade ***** *****, the lessor pays the taxes, not lesee. Fighting unauthorized credit check!

The only way we can do this is by having the husband contact the credit bureau that was pulled and dispute it, once that's done they will send us an email and we will not combat it.
