      On April 29, 2024 Global Life Insurance and third party of Global Life charge my card twice with total of $114.93 came off my card. I did contact Insurance and they did admit it was there fault and several other people it happened too. They also stated it would take ***** hours and I will have my money return. I never received my refund.I have called and talk to Insurance on several occasions and they giving me the run around. I even sent proof. As of June 16, 2024 I yet to have not received my refund for the amount $114.93

      On 11/01/24 a payment was made in the amount of ****** for the period of 11/23 through 11/24 on my credit card for my mother's life insurance premium. She passed away on 11/29/23 so pro-rating this we are due a refund of $459.48. Globe Life asked that I send the request IN WRITING and that the money would be sent back. I sent the request for the refund on 03/12/24 and keep getting stall tactics when I asked about the refund. I gave them the option of sending me the check OR refunding it directly to the card 1288. I thought that it would be contained in policy payment but it wasnt. I am the listed beneficiary and don't understand why it wasn't sent with the policy pay-out in the first place. Originally I thought that the refund should be for $424.31 but there is the additional 27 days from the first payment at approximately 1.30 per day for an additional *****.

      i attempted to pay my premium for life insurance on april 10 2024. kept waiting for it to go through . called globe life on april 24,2024 they took payment over phone and stated my other payment declined. i used same debit card. payment didnt go through still, made another payment bc the woman said if payment goes through they wont accept 2nd payment but this will ensure my coverage. long story short. they collected too many payments. policy k047475 ****** k047476 ****** both paid in full and still processed payment for ******- this has been a complete run around. i have attached only the fax and the run around emails (not to mention the transfer around calls). i have attached the running total per my bank print out from the bank along with the print out of my account both have running totals and clearly show no refund for ****** from globe life. i just want my ****** back (i even asked if they could apply to next year so i would be good until april 2026) very rude. phone personnel advised that globe wont process a second payment when it has already processed it in full and the BURDEN UP TO ME TO SHOW I DID NOT GET REFUNDED. GLOBE LIFE SHOULD SHOW ME THE DEPOSIT THEY STATE THEY DID MAKE.. which is non existent..if its this hard to get refunded for an overcharge , just how hard will it be to collect when one of us pass? i have highlighted the charges from globe life and cannot find any refunds as they state they have given with attitude. they keep saying my payment declined as the first words of choice everytime i call trying to make me feel bad. however, i had money in the institution available at that time per my attached records. i just want my ****** back and move on. i attached my bank screen shot of only money taken by globe life never refunded since last year. please help me.

      I am rejecting this response because i have not received any refund at this time. i have not received any pieces of mail from globe life, i have checked my **** informed delivery every day and there is nothing showing on that. as recently as 5/23/24 ***** from globe life called me about 3:30pm to advise me that the legal department was going to be reaching out to me but couldnt explain why. i dont know if this is a scare tactic and making me feel threatened, but i found it unnecessary to call me and leave it at that for a refund i am entitled to because it is an overpayment, the only thing i was guilty of was paying too much money to them. i will gladly accept the response for my refund once i actually receive my refund for the over payment. i have never had problems until this year with the payment processing. i have used the same account for many years and the reps were friendly until this time around. each time starting with my payment declined on the 10th, but yet my records clearly show i had the funds in my account with the same account number each time.  to me, requesting a refund of my over payment has nothing to do with the bank payment on april 10th. which my documents support what i have been stating. and again, i dont understand why their legal department would need to speak to me about something that is pennies to them and again i overpaid. i  check my **** informed delivery daily and i just rechecked again nothing shows as having ever been anticipated to coming to my home. and the irony is that when i called previously 5/13 11:48 for 34 mins i was advised the payment would not go out til the 22nd because it had to clear (although it was posted on my bank account) . the emails i keep sending never give me a date or response of how i will receive the over payment monies back. they just give  me a run around. Sadly, none of this would have taken place if the individuals were 1) kind 2) stop bringing up the 10th and making it my fault 3) give a clear concise answer or find out and get back to me.  i had to keep calling and emailing and resort to this to get help.  When i receive my refund of too many dollars paid, then i will gladly accept the business response and provide a 5 star rating.

      globe in their statement advised they sent a check out  previously  that i did not cash. they are very slow at mailing or mailed out this week. as i have attached screen shots of the **** informed delivery for may 31 which shows globe life mailing. the check is dated april 29 and it is a $20.00 check. but i am advised by globe life statement my refund checkS for 130 something and 20something would be fed ex to me. i have not received them. only one check which in their statement advise me will be voided out. i will also reach out to the email they provided as well.

      Globe Lifes May 29, 2024 response to *************************** clearly set out what occurred with the premium payments she made on April 10, 2024, April 24, 2024, and April 26, 2024. The payments received April 26, 2024 were refunded on April 29, 2024 and the checks were sent to the address on records for policies #**K047475 and #**K047476.

      The refund checks were reissued on May 31 2024 and received in our **************** on June 6, 2024. The checks are being sent to Mr. and ***************** today via Federal Express. Copies of the checks and Federal Express tracking information were sent to ***************** via email as well (copies enclosed).

      It is Globe Lifes position that this matter has been resolved.

      I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution as i have finally received the replacement checks on june 6th (only one original came the day they responded and i sent them a screen shot of my **** informed delivery and copy of the check -- so someone is lacking in sending out the checks or it was only sent out after i complained because it was postmarked 5/29). i appreciate the bbb having this resolved as it is only right and fair to return my over payment without me having to send a running total of my complete bank account for a month.. when  bank shows globe life took the money out of my account and verifies they never returned the burden should be on globe life to prove that i received the monies they state i had with a cancelled check. as they now have the cancelled checks today since i received.

      ************************* states in his complaint that he has nine policies with Globe Life for which he has been trying to obtain the cash surrender value. Unfortunately, **************** did not provide the policy numbers or the names of each insured.

      A search of our records revealed only four policies under the name *************************. In order for Globe Life to properly respond to this complaint, **************** will need to provide all nine policy numbers. If he does not have the policy numbers, **************** can provide the names and dates of birth of each person insured under the nine policies.

      This company promotes their life insurance with no medical examination required, but Ive received two denial notifications already due to my medical history. When I called to ask why the denial, I was told it was because of my lupus. The promotion of their life insurance services is fraudulent.

      Globe Life does advertise no medical exam required and that is absolutely correct. However, the coverage is not guaranteed and the person applying for life insurance coverage with Globe Life must answer several questions regarding his/her health history. The policy is underwritten based on the applicants responses to the health questions and any other information that is obtained during the application process, none of which require a medical examination.

      ********************************* submitted an application for $100,000.00 life insurance coverage and $100,000.00 accidental death benefit insurance via the internet on April 8, 2024. A printout of the electronic application data submitted by ********************** is enclosed.

      Although ********************** answered No to all health questions on the internet application, a brief coded report that Globe Life received from the *************************** **** (MIB)suggested that her health history was more significant than what was provided on the application. Per procedure, Globe Life sent ********************** a letter on April 9, 2024 requesting additional information.

      In the meantime, Globe Life also requested information regarding ************************ prescription medication history from a pharmacy benefits manager known as ******** IntelliScript (********).Based on the information received from ********, we were unable to approve ********************* for the coverage requested. A letter explaining the Companys reason for denying the coverage was sent to ********************** on April 10, 2024.

      For contractual reasons, Globe Life cannot re-disclose the information received from MIB or ********. However, ********************* can request such information directly from the providers at:

      Policy #***E56634, insuring the life of Monsonia ********************, is a term life policy issued effective January 17, 2017 in the amount of $30,000.00.

      According to our records, a one-time premium payment in the amount of $483.24 was made on January 5, 2024.This premium, which was not due until March 2024, paid the policy to March 17,2025.

      ******************** alleges that she requested cancellation of the policy on March 1, 2024. However, Globe Life has no record of receiving a cancellation request until ******************** called on March 18, 2024.

      The policy was cancelled March 18, 2024, per Ms. ********* request. Our ***************************** is in the process of refunding the $483.24 payment received January 5, 2024. A copy of the check will be provided for you records immediately upon receipt.

      The payment of ***** was due every month on the 29th .On 1/2/2024 they took a withdrawal payment of ***** they increased my payment without my authorization. Therefore I canceled the policy and asked to be refunded my payment I was given instructions on what to send in. They set a message to my email stating they need my full bank statement I complied with that message sent my bank statement. I hadnt gotten a response so I called 2/5 /2024 to ask about the status ,and was told I was not due a refund because my payment was for the month before .I know that insurance companies dont give you coverage before a payment. I was very upset that the associate hung up the phone before our complete conversation was over. My first call was 1/2/2024 after I saw the withdrawal amount from my account. Please help me satisfy this claim. Will send any documents needed upon request . *****************************

      Policy #****T6289, insuring the life of ********************************, is a term life policy issued effective December 28,2021 in the amount of $50,000.00. A copy of the policy is enclosed for your reference. **************************** is the policy owner.

      The initial $1 introductory premium paid the policy for the first month to January 28, 2022. Thereafter,the monthly premium was $60.13; however, because ****************** paid the premiums via a recurring draft, the discounted monthly premium amount was $59.88.

      Pursuant to policy provisions, the monthly premium increased to $86.01 effective December 28, 2023 (discounted premium amount $85.76). The date and amount of this premium increase is clearly reflected under the Benefit and Premium Schedule on Page 2 of the policy.

      On December 28, 2023, Globe Life drafted the $85.76 premium due, which paid the policy to January 28, 2024. ***************** cancelled the policy on January 2, 2024 and requested a refund of the $85.76 drafted in December. Per procedure, ****************** was advised to submit his request for refund in writing.

      On January 4, 2024, Globe Life received an email from ****************** requesting a refund of the last premium drafted. ****************** was asked to submit a copy of his bank statement showing the premium payment cleared, which is the Companys usual procedure when a refund is requested less than 30-days from the date the payment was applied to the policy.

      A copy of the bank statement was received on January 11, 2024. A refund check (#*******) in the amount of $85.76 was issued to ************************* on February 1, 2024.

      I have read the response it said that a check was sent on the 1st of feb 2024.but I didnt even contact the bbb until feb 5. That makes no sense now I have not received a check and todays date is 25 of February. Can someone make sense of response I read from global life.

      After reading the letter they sent to BBB I called Global life because I never received a Check. I informed them that there was even a check number on the letter.They informed me they had no record of a check being sent. They also had no information on a letter sent to BBB. They were supposed to return my call in a couple of days and I still have not heard from anyone. I am also still receiving premium letters. Someone is not handing business in this office or there is a lack of communication. Please check into this resolution for me there is a mistake in communication or they are lying to the BBB.

      I am rejecting this response because:   

      After reading the letter they sent to BBB I called Global life because I never received a Check. I informed them that there was even a check number on the letter.They informed me they had no record of a check being sent. They also had no information on a letter sent to BBB.       Policy #****T6289 was cancelled on January 2, 2024, per ******************* request, as stated in Globe Lifes previous response to the Better Business Bureau. However, the policy had to be taken out of cancellation status in order to process the refund check on February 1, 2024. After processing the refund, the representative did not put the policy back into cancellation status, which is why ****************** continued to receive premium notices. This has now been corrected. Globe Life sincerely apologizes for this inadvertent oversight and any confusion or inconvenience it has caused.

      As stated previously, a refund check (#*******) in the amount of $85.76 was issued to ************************* on February 1, 2024. This information had to be requested from Accounting prior to the initial February 20, 2024 response, as it is not part of the policy notes and is also the reason **************** was unable to confirm the refund with ****************** when he called on February 26, 2024.

      According to the complaint, ***************** has not received the refund check issued February 1, 2024, and it has not been cashed as of this date, per Accounting. Therefore, I have asked Accounting to stop payment on check #******* and issue ****************** a new check immediately. I will send the new check to ****************** via Federal Express as soon as it is received.

      The complaint is that I wanted to cancel out the insurance and get whatever cash value I have within the policy. I don&#**;t want the insurance any more. They keep giving me the runaround about it. My grandson&#**;s insurance was paid up until February **** and I don&#**;t want them coming back saying the policy lapsed. I am trying to get this done before the policy lapses. They keep saying it is not your policy it is his, my grandson&#**;s, policy. It has my name on it and I have been paying this insurance all these years. He wasn&#**;t old enough at the time when I filed for insurance for him. Now that he is grown he doesn&#**;t need the policy because he has his own policy. I would like to cancel the policy and to get whatever cash value of the policy that is left refunded to me.

      The direct mail application for insurance coverage submitted to Globe Life in July 2013 (copy attached).appears to be signed by *******************************. Therefore, he is the owner of policy #***P07996 and the only person with authority to cancel the policy or surrender it for the cash value. *********************** is not the policy owner.

      A surrender request form was sent to ********************** on January 19, ****. A copy of this form is enclosed for your reference. Once the form, completed and signed by *******************************, is received by Globe Life, the policy will be cancelled/surrendered.

      This has been one big headache. When we (my grand mother and I) contacted globe life via phone to surrender the policy, they (globe life) accepted the surrender and stated that they would send a check via mail. That was in December, now it is February and I'm just now receiving this information that they want me to sign a document to surrender the policy instead. That just doesn't make sense to me, how many times do we have to notify globe life that we want to surrender the policy. With that being said to my knowledge the document to surrender the life insurance policy was never delivered to the address on file (****************************************). Being that I have no direct contact to globe life via email and also don't want to send them this standard mail and also have had zero success with phone conversations with them, I'm requesting that you all (BBB) provide me with next steps as a liaison in efforts to surrender this policy. I have no direct contact to any agent at globe life in terms of an email or phone number and at this point I don't trust sending this signed document to them via postal mail.

If ********************** does not trust the US *************** he can submit the completed form directly to me via email at ************************************ or via fax at ************.

      The signed surrender request form was received from ******************************* via email on Sunday, February 18, 2024. The surrender form was forwarded to our Living Benefits Unit for processing on Monday,February 19, 2024. An email was sent to ********************** on that same date, acknowledging receipt of the surrender form and providing status.

      The policy was surrendered February 20, 2024. A check (#*******) in the amount of $545.68, representing the full cash surrender value of policy #***P07996, was issued to ******************************* on that same date. A copy of the check is attached for your reference.

      The check was sent to ********************* via Federal Express on February 22, 2024, and an email was sent to ********************* providing him with a copy of the check and advising it was being sent via Federal Express. No further communication has been received from *********************.

      The check was delivered to ********************* this morning. A copy of the Federal Express delivery receipt email is attached.

      I purchased these 2 policies 3 years ago and have been making monthly payments and they won't change the date of my grandson birth nor his new last name! If anything should happen to him, they won't pay on these policies. I have called, sent e-mails, they hang up on me and I need help or need to cancel these policies and get my money back. 0039E6453 and 0039F2749.It's a shame they keep taking the money out of my account, however, won't make the changes!Thank you for your help!
