Brief Summary This is to bring to notice the lack of business ethics and professionalism displayed by All Tech Leak Detection Company and ************ **** I was getting high water bills from the ************* for the last one year. All Tech Leak Detection was hired to detect Leak in my pool and ***** pools was hired ( As strongly recommended by All Tech Leak) to repair the leaks and re-plaster the pool. I ended up spending around $****** and the pool leak is still not fixed. a.After the pool was re-plastered I found out that the water meter reading was still the same and the leak was not fixed. When informed, they claimed to find another leak in Spa jets. So they had to break the plaster again in the spa area and re-jet the ******.Again I checked with the ************* and I was told that the problem was still unresolved. From my conversation with both the companies, it is evident that there is an unresolved leak problem around the autofill valve. It is further evident that the water leak was not in the Spa-Jet for which I was made to spend $ ******. The error of judgment by the two companies proved to be very expensive affair for me.c.After making all the repairs suggested by them the pool re-plastered but water meter reading still showed a leak in the pool system. Currently the autofill valve is plugged and shut off as a temporary measure to prevent water leak for the time being. I have spent around $****** and the pool leak is not fixed .Both the companies are non-committal about taking any steps to solve the problem that they were originally hired for.. I am at the same situation from where I started. It is pertinent to mention here that All Tech Leak Detection Company was paid a separate amount to detect any leak in Autofill plumbing line and he categorically stated in his report that there is no leak in the plumbing line of Auto Fill.

All Tech Leak Detections reputes this unsubstantiated claim and innuendos.

There has been a communication problem because they are in *****.  There is no basis for the claim they filed

I do not want this posted to the BBB website and I want All Tech Leak Detection to remain claim free as it has for decades.

See Attached documentation reputing their claims

RESPONSE TO ALL TECH LEAK DETECTION s REPLY on SEP 12
    58201011-17949

    BACKGROUND
The company All Tech Leak Detection was hired to detect leak in the pool system. B & H pools was hired on recommendation of the All Tech to repair the leak and thereafter re surface the pool to fix any/all structural leaks in the shell of the pool/*********** followed all the recommendations and repairs suggested by these two companies but the core issue of water loss through pool leak still persists. This has been corroborated several times based on the hourly water meter recordings from the *************. The critical window to check the water loss is between midnight to 5 am. Generally there is no water usage at this time.
********************* from ALL TECH was contacted to inform him that the problem of **** still persisted in spite of following all the recommendations including using the services of B & H pools,  to fix leaks. ***** reported a break in the Spa Jet line. It was re-fixed by B&H Pools the second time but it did not resolve the issue. Attempts were made to resolve this issue but All Tech asked to discuss the issue with B&H pools. All Tech declined to take any responsibility for the failure of the project.
All Tech is blaming the high water bill to usage of Sprinkler but this is an attempt to divert the attention  from the main issue of continuous running of water meter at midnight when there is no water usage including sprinkler. The meter stops running only when the AutoFill valve is shut off.
THE Water Leak Issue and its suggested link to the Auto Fill problem
The water leak problem was confirmed by the ************* water usage hourly recordings. The very fact that water meter kept running even when  there was no usage between midnight to 5 am , confirms water leak.
The water meter reading would show zero water consumption during this time (midnight to 5 am), only  if the autofill valve was shut-off.This was conveyed to the team through the property manager before they started the leak detection work. (See the attached file Grant2). An extra amount of $ 250 was paid to All Tech to check the autofill for any leak. All Tech in its report submitted that the auto refill line test ok to spicket and pool.

    CONFLICTING REPORTS
We, as consumers, are caught in a quandary between the two companies failing to take responsibility for their work.  The most perplexing part in the entire episode is the major conflict in the reports forwarded by the two companies.
The report of  ALL TECH LEAK  stated -  auto refill line test ok to spicket and pool ,
THE report of B & H pools stated  - Autofill valve is broken and it leaked. So much so that  B & H Pools turned off the auto fill valve and shut off the supply line to the pool promptly  to prevent any water loss.  ********************* from B & H Pools also suggested bypassing the autofill valve and using a timer and manual filling of the pool.
We ended up paying more than $20,000 and the core problem of pool water leak still persists. I think the primary responsibility for this unresolved issue lies with the ALL TECH LEAK DETECTION.
    FACTUAL CORRECTIONS
I will like to point out some inaccuracies and misrepresentation of facts in the reply filed by ALL TECH LEAK DETECTION.
His reply mentions -I called him directly after the complaint was filed to try to resolve remaining issues . he would not talk to me.
It is difficult to fathom the reasons for misrepresentation of facts here. He called me around 2nd SEP ( not very sure of exact date) .We talked for about 5 minutes and stated our respective positions on the issue. He asked me to send ************* water meter data for the previous month. I got the data from the ************* and sent to him the next day.

*********** live in *****   -Factually incorrect. I was a ***** resident for 30 years and now I currently reside in Colorado.
All Tech is blaming the water loss on waterfalls and sprinkler but waterfalls and sprinklers do not run at mid night when the water meter reading is being recorded for leak purpose.

**** correctly claims that *****, the property manager was kept informed about the work done. However, once it was found out that the issue of pool leak was still unresolved, the Property manager, ALL Tech LEAK Detection and B & H Pools washed their hands off the issue.

This was quite baffling and we expected a better sense of accountability from all the parties involved.
    CONFLICTING and CHANGING VERSIONS
It will be interesting to see how both the  companies -All Tech and B & H pools have been providing shifting and contradictory versions once they realized the Pool Repair Project has gone bad. Please see below
Initial  assessement of Alltech -  Date 05/03/2023)   Reason for the high water bill is there was a big leak around the pool light so the pool was constantly trying to fill ( ALLTECH INVOICE)
The reported also mentioned a possible leak at spa jet
B&H pools report dated 0622/2023  certified that Spa jets worked well
ALLTECH LEAK on 7th August2023,  report another leak in Spa Jet
    ( B & H pools )   (Date -08/17-2023     )  Email from ***** ( B&H Pools ) when asked why autofill valve
was shutoff , says   It leaks and is broken
( B & H pools )  -Contradicts his own version from previous date) in his letter to BBB, he says that The pool/spa has been tested again and again and does not leak. The letter carefully avoids the mention of autofill leak.
All Tech (Date 09/11/2023  ) There were two leaks found. The waterfalls  .
B & H pools   (Dated 09/12/2023) blamed high water meter reading on manual filling of pools
The reason for all these versions is that the team of ALLTECH and B& H pools in their oversight ignored the leak from autofill and went on to re plaster the pool.

With the initial problem still persisting and both the companies AllTech and B&HPools refusing to do anything further and contradicting their own  versions and each other statements amounting to breach of Contract.
Further, i take strong objection to the fact  that All ************ went ahead to my property on 5th of September without my authorization and during the period of my ongoing dispute .with both the companies with BBB
