  Stay away! I'm sorry to say it, but everything you read prior to this is correct. Scheduled an appointment. No show. They closed the work order without even showing up. Multiple calls over the course of several days not returned. They told AHS they would get back to us. Didn't happen. I ended up waiting 7 days before we had to get the work completed by a different company. Finally got a refund from AHS. I'm surprised AHS even uses this company based on these reviews and the ones on Yelp (check those out). Coincidentally (I couldn't make this up if I wanted to), my sister-in-law had a hot water heater issue several months back. I started explaining the nonsense we were dealing with here, and she pulled an email up showing that she had dealt with this exact same company. They replaced the unit, left, it didn't work, and she waited for three weeks for them to return and complete the work before she ended up going to another company to complete the work. Pathetic.

  ************* **** never showed up to my home after a week of pushing it back then ended up charging me for NEVER SHOWING UP. **** YOUR A REAL PIECE OF WORK. I would never use this guy.

  Monday we reached out to the company to schedule an appt. The man said they would call ** back. He didn't. Tuesday we reached out again. Man said they would be out at the house between 1 and 4. We took off of work to be there. He said they would call this phone number when they are their way. We took off of work and were here waiting it was a no show. We called again yesterday, no call back. We spoke with **** today. He said that the order was closed out on monday because someone came here and replaced a cap, then he said that someone came out and replaced a disposal. He said someone came out twice.Then he said he has to open a new ticket since we told him that no one has ************** and that the appointment wasn't even made until Tuesday (since they never called back Monday, as promised), so we were unsure how they could have come one Monday.Then he said they didn't show up to the appt because they reached out to the home owners, since we are "just" the renters, and they didn't have our information.The homeowners did not get a call. He said he doesn't have an appt until tomorrow morning so someone has to be had to be here again.Which means we would have to take off again. I asked him for his name and the name of the company after he gave it to me, I told him I was filing a complaint because we can't just take off of work to be here again, and I felt he should put ** on the calendar first thing today since this was urgent and this was their mistake. After I told him I was filing a complaint told me that I threatened him and to contact the homeowners about finding a different company. I am assuming it made him upset seeing the terrible reviews that this company has on ******* yelp, and BBB. He then told AHS, he refused these job because he was verbally abused. I assure you this is not the case, we didnt use fowl language or raise our voice or call any names, he is trying to justify his mistakes *** was probably upset that I said I was filing a complaint.

  While they are representing American Home Shield for repairs, they make promises that they can not keep. The repair man that can out and stated that he was not sure that his repair would be effective and told me to call back if it did not work. Every time that I called they would give me the run-around and when I finally spoke with the shop manager months later, he quickly tried to flip the conversation to state that AHS would not cover the repair. I am sure that this is true, but nobody ever gave me the courtesy of a phone call to let me know that was the case. We all know the drill, he started out loud and defensive, I got mad and ended up losing my temper because of his disrespectful and unapologetic tone. All he had to do explain their situation professionally and apologize for nobody calling me back and stringing me along for months.

  Just the worst. Broken water heater. They said I needed to contact manufacturer for replacement parts. I ordered exactly what they told me to and had the part expedited at an extra expense. I shouldnt have bothered with ******* it as they were absolutely unresponsive when I called or texted to let them know the part had come in (other than a single word received when I texted them). They only came back after I begged the home warranty company to try to get ahold of them. They came back, looked at the part I had received and said it was the wrong part and told me to order something different. Same thing ordered that and had it rushed at an even greater expense but then again no word back from the plumbers when it came in, no matter how hard I tried to contact them. Finally I hired a different plumber who showed up quickly, fixed it within minutes using the first part I had received. I had been without hot water for over 12 days. Finally a few days after it was repaired Plumbing Pro Services called to set up their next arrival time. Just a nightmare the entire time they were supposedly on the case to do something. Avoid using them and if your home warranty company sets them up to repair your job, immediately hire your own plumber and avoid the crazy-making nonsense that PPS would put you through.

  I was connected with Plumbing Pro Services through American Home Shield to replace two water heaters. Although my experience working with AHS was awful, the ******** were super knowledgable, responsive, and did a great job getting my new tanks installed. Through this process I've found myself a go-to plumber thanks to the quality service their team provides.
