On July 10,2023,I went to pinners to get an estimate on tiling a shower.I gave the salesperson the measurements and told her the shower pan was in place and sheetrock was in place.The measurements of square footage was 7 sq.feet more than another estimate I had gotten ,so I asked them to come measure and look at the shower and another sales person came and measured. July 13, I gave them$2164.89,they required complete payment in advance ,I had used them 2 years earlier and agreed to this.The salesperson that did the measurements said everything looked good.On August 10,the person came to do the job,he is the same person that did my other shower,I showed him the shower and twice I asked if everything was OK for the job and he twice told me everything was "good".There was app.2 inches of the bottom of shower that was left untiled,with bolts of shower pan showing,I didn't see this till next day and called salesperson,who requested pictures and I sent them.The call back I was told the person who put up sheetrock was at fault.I explained to her that they are suppose to be the professionals and when the two of their employees both told me everything was good! Why would tile be put up when they said the sheetrock was put up wrong.The salesperson told me twice when I told her that putting up tile when they were aware of this ,that the tiler should have called her.I have spoken to two other tiles and both said that the job should never have been started and that at least I should have been informed.Ihave a shower I can't use because it is going to leak.These people are the professionals,I'm the ***************************** said it was my problem not theirs, I know that I should have been told there was an issue before they stared the job.I do have pictures,when I used pinner 2 years earlier the salesperson and the tiler came out and measured and looked at the job.Business response
