On December *** ****, I hired two people that was recommended by my sister-in-law. I hired them to make me a 16 x 24 room. They presented themselves as a noble company and showed me their card that said, "Home Improvement." The representative’s name is Tito ******, later he introduced us to Roel *******. He represented himself as an “inspector” after we spoke about what we wanted in the room we told them about a room with 2 doors, with an outside window, the laundry room, a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. We told them where we wanted the window and a sink with counter. They told us “Yes” we can do it and gave us an estimate of $******.00. To convince us they told us if we would apply for the loan amount; they would give us $****. Roel ******* told us all we had to do was sign the contract, it was on his tablet, and I was told the finance company would send us the contract. Tito ****** told me that the finance company would call us and instructed me on what to say:

Minutes later the finance company called an asked if I was satisfied with the job…I said wait a minute and I would return the call. I hung up and called Tito ****** and asked, “How Can I say the job is complete if you have not done anything?” He responded, “it was so that they would get paid so they can purchase materials, and that’s how it was done at my brother’s house.” This was said by Tito and to convince me he sent me some photos (see page 3) This work was done at my brother’s house, and he achieved it, I was convinced.
I signed the contract the next day and they started working on the room we requested. They did not expect us to be at the home…. We were able to see the work that was being done.
We saw that they did the plumbing wrong. They even used material from the trash, as you can see in the photos. To make the washing machine trap they glued two elbows together. All the pipes were used, and some were from the trash, and they put the washing machine drainpipe very close to the plug. When we saw this, we realized that Mr. Roel ******* was not an inspector because he let all those mistakes that the workers were making go by. We agreed that we would fix all the pipes and that he would pay the person we hired. (continued in Spanish on attached sheets)
