I was cussed out and called ugly names by the front desk lady! And I called customer relations,made incident reports,called numerous phone numbers. no one has contacted me,the hotel refused to refund my cash money that I paid up front for this room for a entire month. it's like this company doesn't care how its employees treat their guests. and the lady is still working the front desk still cutting eyes and laughing at me!I did nothing to deserve to be treated like thisCustomer Answer

We booked a hotel room for June 21-June 23 and there were multiple issues with room. We have photos showing how unsanitary, unsafe and run down this hotel is to include cockroaches in the room. We arrived June 21 at 11pm to key not working and then come to find our room door was not locking. They were supposedly completely booked so they couldnt move us. We put the top latch on the door and had to put a chair against the handle to make sure no one entered our room. If it weren't for my 2 small children being so tired from the trip I would not have stayed that first night. I did not get any sleep that night and told my husband I could not stay there another night. Then we woke up to cockroaches and we made a definite decision to not stay our second booked night. We checked out early and drove 5 hours just so we didn't have to expose our kids to that environment again. I have reached out to the hotel with no response, submitted a complaint on their contact us form on their website and of course no response. I am requesting a refund for the second night we did not stay at this place. I will not be staying at any of your hotels and will be sure to warn everyone of this company! On Aug 2, 2023, my wife and I checked into the *********** Suites hotel located at **********************************************************. Upon entering our room we found a ***** shown in the picture labeled pest. (I have video as well) We returned to the front desk and checked out immediately. The front desk person communicated with the manager by email and stated that the they would not provide a refund but offered another room instead. We declined and so I reached out to the Corporate headquarters which is ************** A representative stated that all Woodspring locations are independently owned and Choice has no fixed agreement so they can't enforce a refund. ****** offered $150 compensation to close the claim on their end but stated I would need to seek another route to get the remaining $347.14 because the manager was apologetic but unresponsive to providing as refund as scene in the photo of the survey response.Initial Complaint

I was initially told I could verbally commit for the month, and pay weekly. ***** later the ** told me I would need to pay the full month up front. Not one time was I told Internet to get information regarding being tax exempt, and having taxes returned for earned credit for more stays, nor given a printed out piece of paper with instructional directions, and the process was never offered. I visited the property personally booking between July 8, 2023 through August 20, 2023. One rep would tell me talk to the ** talk to the **. I understood as my first sentence stated, I was told I could just verbally commit for the month and pay weekly. I was under the complete impression that I could book third party, visit for 28 to 30 days and have taxes taken off and taxes returned. The first rep that I reference told me the ** was being emailed and the ** would make movements to pull me from the third party reservations and honor the new reservation in person. They continue to extend my days out. I continued to book third party to make sure that I had a reservation for the room without being canceled out. The ** then told me I would get the taxes back on the 29th. I think she was talking about the 29th of August, and not July. After 30 days plus I was still being taxed. I was trying with great difficulty and misunderstanding to do the most proper thing throughout all the confusion, to get the tax exempt status for being a visitor there for more than 30 days. I went to the website at my own discretion after about 3 wks. The morning of the 20th I told a house keeping rep that I was checking out and I told my room number and it was repeated and I quote checking out today room 310? I said yes. Around 9:00am the front desk was closed. I was charged $83 for a full day plus a late fee. Along the line, I do truly believe I was giving misinformation and false advertising instructions on how-to. We have been customers for almost 3 years. We have lately been charged an increase in rates and new linen use charges. There has not been any written notices from this extended stay. We were charged $533.00 extra last year and $560.00, this year plus a $20.00 linen fee which is charged by the day. Are these increases legal?Initial Complaint

I had a stay setup for 11/1/XXXX-XX/17/22 due to having surgery nearby at ****** hospital to stay locally, work remotely, minimize factors to cause issues with recovery. I paid the business for free wifi (1mbps upload & download) & for paid wifi (3mbps upload & download) both of which were barely usable for anything working remote. Paired with using mobile device for meetings I could make it work. I couldn't stand the commercial scale marijuana grow operation in the building flaring up my allergies & breathing difficulties. Staff deny smelling it or it's existence or federal & state legal issues. Not truly accomodating if I have allergy & asthma/breathing issues as does my surgery point of contact (someone to pick me up & watch me first few days to make sure of my safety first 3days or so after operation). Then 11/3/22 afternoon internet & the Woodsprings building wifi went out. They couldn't even pull up my reservation to end it to refund me anymore because the corporate internet was down. They said they had no eta when the internet would be back up that the vendor said they had no internet account. The corporate 1800 number wouldn't they redirected in poor customer service only the local office could. Over 24 hours later still things were down I left with the help of my surgery point of contact taking my stuff out to relocate which was a huge pain when I can't work remote to barely keep my job, while I can't lift things & have limited flexibility. I need a full refund for paid wifi that didn't work & they wouldn't fix the room I need the facility inspected & commercial marijuana grow operation shut down so others with breathing issues and/or in dire situations for an extended stay due to the location of being two buildings away from a surgery operation hospital can have livable Americans Disability Act (ADA) accomodations.Initial Complaint

10/19 I stayed at wood springs hotel for 90.93. Upon checking in the room. The room had a dirty shower w stains all over the floor, towels with someone else's hair in every single one. (4towels) the mirror had stains. The bed was not clean. There was a blood stain on the curtains. There was even a dirty screwdriver left in the bathroom. When we brought the attention to the staff down stairs, they said no refunds and that they had "someone" who they knew clean their rooms better. So I checked in a new room, Upon checking in that room it had all the same issue but this time old food cartons. The stair cases had cigarettes in them and blocks in the door so people who didn't have a key could get in the back. The elevator was not taken care off. you seen staff walking around the building smoking. No one would connect me to the right person to resolve an issue. I ended up having to get another room for me and my 7 month old daughter. There was no signs to the stair cases. WoodSpring Suites Aurora Denver Airport XXXXX E 38th Ave, Aurora, CO XXXXX* (XXX) XXX-XXXX I stayed at this location for a couple of weeks til I got a new place. I asked numerous times if I checked out early would I get a refund. I was told yes but 2 people, the front desk girl and a general manager that was there because the original manager was let go. On 4/14/2022 I checked out early and was promised a refunded difference of 242.00. I never received my refund and for 6 months have been trying to get a refund that I was told by management I'd receive. I tried to call but there's no actual way of calling the business and was sent in a transfer circle of people that claim they don't work for WoodSprings. I just want my money back that i was told i would get instead of a company lying refusing my claims from my bank.
