If you are looking for your credit score online, do NOT use Freescore360, ********** or One Technologies LLC. I believe they are all one company operating under One Technologies LLC. They say you can get a free credit score for $1.00 which they will refund. THEN they start billing your credit card for $29.95 a month. I tried calling the phone number showing on my credit card bill but it just rang about 15 times and then hung up. I contested the charges with my credit card company and they were sent a 10 page contract that they said I had agreed to by email. I did call the number that my credit card company gave for these people and it did answer but I had to give my full SS# for someone to answer. I spoke with *** and she advised she would reverse the two payments of $29.95 and that my account had already been cancelled because I had disputed the charges with my credit card company. *******

Re: ***** **** Review of ScoreSense

ScoreSense is a credit monitoring product, owned and operated by One Technologies, that gives consumers access to their credit scores and reports via a 7-day free trial; if the trial is not cancelled during the first seven days, a monthly membership account begins at $29.95 and continues until cancellation.

This consumer signed-up for ScoreSense on three (3) separate occasions, in 2016, 2020 and most recently, October 2022. After she was billed twice, she chose to file a chargeback dispute in December when she couldn't reach someone by phone; although her account was subsequently cancelled, her credit card opted not to reimburse the charges. When she called ScoreSense back, she was advised the chargeback nullified the refund option in our system, therefore her request for restitution simply could not be honored.

Total scam. Bad practices: deceptive, inaccurate, steals your identity. Any place that asks for your SSN before payment information is a red flag.

This consumer initiated his ScoreSense purchase via the website FreeScoreOnline.com on 9/15/2022; he subsequently abandoned during Step 4, which is when he was asked for a credit card and advised of all payment terms.

For the record, customers are asked for their SSN prior to payment in order to validate their identity and to determine if a credit file exists, and is available.

Nevertheless, his post enrollment assessment is both inaccurate and unwarranted.

This business markets as Freescore360. It offers to give you your credit scores from all agencies quickly for free. Then you enter all your private information and it charges you a monthly fee. I did not agree to it or pay. However, I did freak out and wonder immediately if I had been hacked somehow and given all my information to someone. There was no number I could reach, this is not the legal name of their company, there's no number to reach and now they have all my private information without disclosing anything to me first. I'm sure this isn't legal. I'm very upset about this. I actually know a lot of lawyers as I went to law school and will be making calls immediately. They shouldn't have my private information after obtaining it in such a misleading way.

Upon receipt of her review, I advised the consumer that One Technologies offers credit monitoring products by way of marketing websites such as FreeScore360.com. The submission of personal information is required to verify identity and access the credit data.

Regarding marketing legality, the consumer's concerns would have been addressed in our Terms and Conditions, as well as Privacy Policy, both available on our websites.

Finally, we can confirm consumer did not complete enrollment, nor was she charged.

Consumers don't read policy in regards to your marketing. Especially if we have no plans to buy anything from you. Our concern is that you have our SS number and our other critical information and what you do with it afterwards. You market a free credit score in Flashy terms and hide prices in your policy and terms of use. Shady business to me. Also, even after my complaint I keep getting your spam e-mails. Truly sad. Other businesses offer this for free actually and your prices are ridiculous.

Despite the consumers refusal to read, her concerns regarding the voluntary submission of information during enrollment can be addressed in our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Secondly, the website she accessed marketed a free trial, not a free score, and did show the price after trial; nothing was hidden. Finally, her email has been unsubscribed and blacklisted in our system.

My 77 yr old mother mistakenly had the service in 2016, and canceled as soon as possible. In 4/2021 the account became active again without authorization. As my mother has mental impairments she was unaware of the monthly charges. Upon reviewing her accounts we became aware, and promptly canceled, requesting a refund for the unauthorized charges from 4/2021 to 8/2022. Customer service even verified that the service had not been used at all. Only one charge was credited. This is clearly a situation of fraudulently taken advantage of a senior citizen.

This consumer first signed-up for ScoreSense on 8/07/2015; once enrollment was complete, she received a verification email, which advised when monthly billing would begin. She subsequently logged into her account on ScoreSense.com on 8 separate occasions. Her account was cancelled a year later when her credit card could no longer be charged.

The consumer signed-up a second time on 4/30/2021, on an Android Tablet device through AT&T, and using a different credit card. She called and cancelled her membership 16 months later, stating she didn’t know what ScoreSense was or why she was being charged.

During the time her account remained active, ScoreSense provided access to her updated credit reports and scores from all three credit bureaus. We were also monitoring her credit daily, sending her numerous email alerts and notifications, and provided $1 million in identity theft insurance through ****

Customer Care refunded the consumer three charges of $29.95 on 8/18/2022; after review, and taking into account the prior membership, I approved one additional refund, as a courtesy.

They refuse to refund. I was told when I stated I didn't know I was signing up for this. I already have transunion and experian and thought I was part of them not another service.

The consumer signed-up for ScoreSense on 8/30/2021, on an Android mobile device, by submitting her personal information, including her DOB, SSN, CC# and email address. Once enrollment was complete, she received a Welcome email, which verified her purchase and advised when billing would occur. She then logged into her account on ScoreSense.com on 3 separate occasions.

During the time her account remained active, she received unlimited access to her credit reports and scores, daily credit monitoring & credit alerts, as well as $1 million in identity theft insurance.

Despite her contention that she did not know she was utilizing/paying for ScoreSense, along with two other credit monitoring services, for 7 months, we cannot honor her request for reimbursement.

Awful customer care, no transparency for resolving issues. No phone number that doesn't send you to the same automated voicemail saying they aren't open right now even within their "open hours of operation" I've tried for days to connect with them to cancel my 7 day free trial. Instead I received no response from the company and than was charged 30 dollars. I'm online doing virtual chat with a employee right now and they have not tried to come up with a resolution yet. And you can expect long wait times even with the live chat. Frankly this website is so opposite from being transparent in anyways. I've had to do so many different things just to get any type of contact from them. I do and have wanted to cancel my "membership" before the free trial was done. They made that impossible, so therefore I'd like to receive a full refund for their negligence in multiple areas

This member first signed-up for ScoreSense on 3/29/2021; as she called to cancel before the end of her 7-day free trial on 4/05/2021, she incurred no charge.

She signed-up again on 5/25/2022; as her account remained active at the end of her 7-day trial, she was charged $29.95 on 6/01/2022. The following day, she attempted to contact Customer Care seven times by phone, all prior to the posted start time of 8 AM Central Time, 9 AM Eastern Time.

Next, she sent an email at 7:37 AM (CT) stating "CAN'T GET AHOLD OF YOU BY PHONE!!", then falsely claimed she had been trying to reach Care for days. After she received an email response asking her to call in or use online chat, she claimed she had received "HORRIBLE AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!" Her subsequent claim of experiencing a long wait time for chat was also false as not only did we show no attempt at chat, but the average wait was only 49 seconds.

The allegations made in this review are false - the member made no effort to cancel her membership prior to the end of her trial period, and all subsequent attempts she made were outside normal business hours.
