I had pawned three items to the store, two ******** and **** basketball jerseys and a pair of Beats by Dre headphones and received a small amount of $60 for all of the items which is all I wanted. They told me they will give me a call or an automated text message giving me information on when my payments would be due for my items which they never did. I had previous items here and they gave me a call in advance before to tell me my items were due or if I wanted another extension so when they didnt for my three items I knew something was up. I called today on 03/10/24 and they told all my items were on the sales floor, and the two jerseys already sold. I asked why I didnt receive a call or text message, email regarding my items and a woman told me its not their responsibility to do so and I should have been aware that they were being sold. She then told me do not come down to store because theyre not going to do anything about the situation. They never indicated to me that my items were due and the amount I had to pay to keep my items were no more than $18. Each ******** and **** jersey is $350 and the woman told me she sold them $70 each. I believe the manager of the store bought them and thats why I didnt receive any call, text, or email because he wanted them. He was eyeing them the moment I brought them into the store. Thats very unfair business to be left in the dark then told all your items are pretty much sold. The headphones are still and all I have to pay is $8 to keep them. So I know it was personal interest for my two basketball jerseys and I want them reimburse the total amount for my jerseys which is $350 each equaling out to be $700. The jerseys were a Los ************** ********************* jersey, purple and yellow, and a North Carolina Tar Heels *************************** jersey, white and baby blue. I would have paid my interest fee no problem but I never got a update or even a courtesy call to tell me about my items being sold and I wanted my items

Received a call from document processing stating in the voicemail they are trying to reach me for a claim filed against me and to call ACS. When I called the number they provided on the recording, ****** took the call, and I provided the reference number then right away this lady was rude! I asked about the name of their company because when they answer the phone there is no greeting to mention their company name. She said she can't give out that information without verifying the account and then she went on to say well I have your full social security number and asked me to confirm the last 4 digits that she called off while we were on the line. I felt very uncomfortable with a stranger knowing my social security number. When I asked again about why they were calling me and all my family and friends, ********************* up in my face. I had to spend extra time trying to get someone on the line to answer my questions. I finally reached a lady, and she told me they were calling me and others who may know me from an online search about a payday loan from October 2014. She then stated the company showed I breached a contract and owe EzCorp/EzMoney nearly $4,000.00. I am not familiar with the company that called nor who they claim is their client. I definitely have no knowledge of any payday loans. For someone who has battled excessive identity theft, it is heart aching to have to constantly defend my name. I refuse to be blamed again for more mess that I did not do!

I have been contacted multiple times within the last couple of months by agencies saying that they represent EZCorp and that they are trying to collect on a payday loan from July of 2012. Any payday loans that I had were fully discharged in bankruptcy in 2013. These parties have harassed my family members in their attempts to contact me. Their phone calls to me threaten wage garnishment and criminal charges. EZCorp's attempts to collect this debt are unlawful. EZCorp needs to stop these very threatening and unlawful attempts to collect.

I don't have an account number.  I don't have any records at all about that loan.  All i know is that the parties that have been calling me say that it was a payday loan taken out with EZCorp in July 2012 and that EZCorp is their client that they are trying to collect for.  I asked them to send me written proof of the loan and proof that the loan is still owed but they refused.

Today 2/21/2024 I received a call from someone from EZ corp stating they are a mediator to collect a debt for the company ez corp, stating that I owe money for a payday load that was supposedly taken out in 2004 but didn't go into debt until 2020. When I questioned the gentlemen on the phone about more information, address, manager etc. The man began to threaten to send the claim to the courts if it did not get paid within a certain amount of business days and then proceeded to hang up the phone on me twice. I would also like to say that this person claimed to have known a lot of my personal information, including, name, email address, and SSN.

I just got a call from a consumer impact recovery company saying I had a pay day loan taken out around 2016 for $700.00 and were asking me to set up settlement installment payments or they would put a hold on my credit card and take the amount of $2,907.83 until that get their money. They said this was for my daughter, but then they told me that my information was attach to this also and don't understand how they had all my information attach to my daughters loan. Then they turn around and said a lien or my taxes for next year can be taken to pay this outstanding loan. They said they had been sending emails to my address for my daughters loan and have sent letters for months and I know this is a lye because any mail that comes to my house gets open only by me from any of my children.

I received a text message regarding that I owed and there was a settlement wasn't familiar with what it was. Also received a phone call from a different area code than the text message leaving me a message telling me that I was getting a judgment filed against me of a loan that I took out from this company in 2015. I recalled the number that was on my text, finding out at the same company from the other area code. I got hung up on several occasions asking them to please provide me what it is that I supposedly borrowed the name of the company all they could tell me is EZ Corp. That was the corporation too many lending companies. They claim that I received mail regarding the situation I have never received it, they were very unprofessional, they also stated that I received the information I was requesting through the mail when I have not. They claim that they're mediation company yet, they refuse to give you the information you need so that you can do the research and find out what they're supposed to be mediating. Very very shady. They don't even have the correct last four of my social security number. Why would a company wait to file a judgment 9 years later? They won't even give me the information of when this loan was taken out. Other than 2015

I was never provided one, they refused to give me any information through the supposed mediation company. They kept hanging up and refused to cooperate or give me any type of information to as they claim settle this before they file judgment against me. They were very threatening in doing so.

Received a call from a document processing business stating that someone had been trying to contact me. He proved me with a phone number ************ and a file number *******. ABA mitigation company. The person who answered named ****** said she had to request my document from the document processing center. Then came back online and said she needed to verify me by my last 4 of my social. She provided those numbers. Then stated I had been verifies. She went to tell me that I was in breach incontract with a payday loan that had defaulted on April 28th, 2013. And that I owed $2440. And that this was my last chance to get this settled before their client submitted small claims because they accessed my asset and liability report and I am liable. I asked for the name of the company, phone number and if they had signed documents to provide me. ****** said they don't have that and it would be disclosed during discovery if I choose to go to court. She offered me a settlement which I denied and again asked if they could proved me with further information. She stated no not even a contact number for the company. I asked why they waited ********************** and why it's not showing in my credit report. Also my number had not changed in 20 years and I never received a call. She stated they tried 3 times to contact me and provided 2 addresses. Is this company legit?
