Streamline is no longer responding and have not send any email in regards to changes of business or personal contact. Furthermore I have referred a friend and never received referral check of $1000. Plus I need to transfer my warranty to another person but there is no one to contact even for services. In addition the last person that I spoke was 11 months ago name ****** she only said that she will send someone to check my panels after hail and no one came ever as well as she said that my check is in finance department. Same is happening even worse with my friend who I have referred he received email from streamline that they have transferred business to someone else and no one is ever responding , I never got anything not contact information. Streamline sales team told us there was a rebate program to get us to sign with them from the beginning. We have no response via email or phone. They also told us to cancel our previous solar company and they will pay the fee. This has to be illegal in some kind of way. Bait and switch at its finest.Business Response

* Streamline installed the solar system and it went live in Nov 2022.* Part of the deal was that streamline would install a Enphase battery which was not completed.* The solar installation was promised to bring our energy bill to almost zero, but instead it did not change much post system going live.* We were promised that system would generate about 11k KW of power in a year but based on the energy bill it has produced less than half this amount.* In addition I was promised that someone would come over to show us how to install an app to monitor the performance of the system but this did not happen in spite of a number of complaints.* I was also promised a check for 2.5k USD once system went live which was not fulfilled.* Streamline representative had promised to send a technician to check on the system and also address all our concerns but no one came to resolve the issue.* I have been calling and writing emails but no one answers.Business Response

Streamline energy promised me solar panels that would cover 100% of my energy needs and if my needs were not met that they would install more panels. My solar panels were not functioning but when I called they asked me to wait a few months and keep sending bills. I did. Something was wrong with one of the pieces, it took months to replace. They said they would reimburse me for my panel payments all the months it wasn't working. That never happened. Even with the repair my solar energy was never enough to meet my needs. They said I am using so much energy it's like I have 2 pools in my yard. I said I don't have a pool at all. They were supposed to send out their master electrician. That never happened so I called one myself and he said it looks odd where they installed the solar to the power box, lots of fluctuations which is abnormal, it might be the problem. So I have called emailed texted every number I have left voice-mail aswell with no response for months. I just want them to fix the panels. No one will return my calls or messages.Business Response

I have reviewed your claim and investigated the system production and work we have done on your system. The production is in line with the system requirements. I show that we have already added another 4 kw of panels at an additional cost of $24,000 to the company to work to give you a system larger than any quoted system you received from any other company.
Less than 5% of master electricians are nab cep certified to install solar systems. Our techs are sent when a system shows production shortage. In this case it does not and we have already invested significantly in your system which you have not referenced in this claim.
I am putting in a work order for an annual performance check of the system with a physical inspection. Once this is completed we will provide any data an solutions necessary. Please confirm agreement with allowing us access to the property.

I am rejecting this response because:No extra panels have been added since installation. I was told the system would create an offset and essentially I would break even on energy costs. This has not happened. When speaking with ******************************* he said company would send out master electrician to make sure panels were installed properly.
The facts are that the sales person ****** said the company would cover all my energy costs. I never have a bill credit. Ever.
Again, though I complained the system was not functioning it took months for them to finally look into it and find one of the parts was malfunctioning. Then it was replaced after a few more months. Then it still did not produce enough to ever give me an energy credit. No panels were installed after initial install. Not a single panel was added after the original install.
****** assured me that the company would meet my energy needs (not during high use months) and I would have credits to make it through the months the solar did not produce enough.
The business has permission to enter the property and check the system. I want what I was promised.

Based on the tech report your system is producing as it should. We have added $36k worth of todays market value panels at zero cost to you to give you the largest quoted system you had received. Your system is working properly. The fact that you had a master who is not nabcep certified inspect your system means someone who has no solar certification is looking at solar system. We sent you a rebate check and you repeatedly for 6 months claimed you never got it. It. was only when we sent you a copy of the check you cashed that you then said you forgot. Based on the contract you signed your system is producing over the amount in that contract. We have worked to meet your needs and will continue to do so in the service of the system and our contractual obligations.

I am rejecting this response because:
I never once said I forgot that i had a rebate check. For six months I was told I would receive a REFUND for the months my system did not work. I asked repeatedly for the REFUND not a rebate. I received my rebate promptly from the company. This was a misunderstanding on ************************* part. I asked him multiple times about the refund and he assumed I meant rebate. I received the rebate and have NEVER denied receiving that. I was told that the company would refund my payments for the solar system all the months it did not work due to a faulty part. This part was not replaced promptly and a refund was never sent.The fact that you constantly try to turn your companies short falls onto me, the customer you swindled, is appalling.
facts:
I was told the company would neet my energy needs. The computer algorithm would generate a proposal based on my previous energy bills.
If it was wrong the company would give me the panels I needed to meet my needs.
BEFORE INSTALL I expressed concerns about the system size being to small. Vivint quoted a much bigger system. The ***** sales guy spoke with tour sales person and convinced him his quote was inaccurate.
The sales person said it was his fault and adjusted the size at no cost to me. Before the install.
AFTER INSTALL
The system was defective and did not meet energy needs. I expressed concerns.
concerns were ignored and I was told we needed to wait a full year.
i kept complaining until someone finally realized a part was malfunctioning.
a new part was ordered
it took months to get and install.
I was told I would be given a REFUND for the panel payments all the months the system did not function.
NO REFUND was received for my expenses for panels that were not functiong for months.
Panels never meet my energy needs. I call and complain for months. I was told if i needed more panels they would be added at NO COST TO ME.
NOW
I have to go through BBB because your company refuses to stand by the promise that if the system THE COMOANY decided would meet my needs ended up being to small thay they would add panels at no cost to me.
bottom line is I the consumer purchased your product in good faith under the pretense that your company knew what they were doi g and that in the rare case the system quoted was not large enough that the company would add more at no cost to me.
I upheld my end of the deal. I bought the system your company told me I needed. Your company made a mistake now fix it. That was the promise.

I have had streamline energy for a couple of years. They have never worked correctly or at all. My bills are way over $200 on top of a loan payment. My point of contacts do not reply back. No one answers the phone and voicemails are full. Cant even leave one. Their 1800 number for warranty doesnt answer. I can no longer log into the Sunny portal app to even see them. This company completely lied to us to get them on my roof. Now I am paying double for electric. I need help!!Business Response

I was approached by Streamline Energy about a year ago to get solar panels installed and the promised to get all done within 3 months and then after that I should be receiving a rebate check and other benefits they promised....it took them a year to get me connected and then they stopped all communication with me after that....everything they pitched to me was all lies....I have never received the rebate check they promised nor the benefits from the solar panels....I have requested my contract to be canceled but they refused stating that I have already signed they loan agreement and they cannot cancel my contract or loan even though they already defaulted on their agreement where everything was supposed to be completed within 3 months....I m really looking forward to my contract and loan to be canceled and all my payment to be reversed back to me.The reason why it took me longer to report this issue is the fact that I did not know about how to so until recently.I include all the document and agreements I signed with this complaint.Business Response

I recently got solar panels from Streamline energy in Dec 2022. I was told i would receive a rebate in the amount of $2500 days after my equipment was activated and i received my Permission to Operate. It is now Feb 2024 and i have not received my rebate money and the contacts numbers for the company, no one will respond to my calls. The lady who sold me the product no longer works for the company and I was informed of this the first time i asked them where my rebate check was. Since then i have called or emailed the lady I was told was my point of contact everyday and I get no response from her. She has two different numbers to call, one the mail box is full so you can't leave a message and the other no one answers or calls you back. I have tried calling every number i can find here on this site for the business and other numbers i have found for people who are in charge of the company and no one will respond to my calls or text messages. It appears my situation is the same as the other writer. The company is scamming people and I will request legal assistance as a Vet to return the solar panel.Business Response

We signed a contract with streamline energy on December 9th, 2023 about getting solar panels installed, and turned on through their company. ************************* set us up an appointment to have them installed December 18, 2023. The panels were installed the 19th&20th, as set. We had to wait for a city inspection, we were told would be roughly two weeks. Jan 22,2023 I got an email from the back office about paperwork that needed signed. To which I replied I would not be signed any paperwork until I got in contact with someone. I had called the home office number online and left multiple messages and nobody had returned. We had decided we wanted a reversal done so we could go with another company because we had not heard anything from the company for over a month from installation. ****** and I spoke on 1/26/24 about the reversal (I had previously spoke with the loan company and they said we had to contact the company) since 1/26/24 I have called and text numerous times with no response. So now we are two months from installation and no working panels or contact from the company.Business Response

Per our contract you have until the day of installation to cancel your contract with us. Some companies charge $1995 cancellation fees if you cancel during this period but we do not charge any type of cancellation fees but you do have to cancel prior to that install date. Once the install date comes and the panels are installed on the roof the panels are owned by you the homeowner. The system is active and the next step is for you to choose your utility buy back plan of choice which we cannot do for you. I am happy to walk you thru these next steps via zoom if you would like as well as go thru a zoom tutorial on the system and how it works and how to actively see production data.
