This is my 2nd complaint against this company. We were Asked to leave but not an eviction - a mutual agreement. The termination letter stated we would not be liable for any fees. We left the apartment cleaner than at move in. See my review on Yelp. Lots of pictures of dangerous issues management and their corporate would not address. It took maintenance 2 weeks to finally provide us a FIRE EXTINGUISHER, only after several calls and emails to the on-site manager. I'm an elderly disabled Desert Storm veteran and this is ELDERLY ABUSE!Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I'm STILL being harassed by the collection agency the Keller reported this false charge. Again, I refer the BBB to my Yelp review - the pictures do not lie. This is causing STRESS on me & I am 66 and not in good health! Also, this has negatively impacted my credit score!

As per stated in my previous response we are a new management company who took over this community 11/14/2022 and have no record of you in our system to help you in any way. Hot Water/ billing for water. the apartment management has been negligent with repairs to the hot water which is responsible for providing hot water to more than 100 residents on one end the complex. The water goes out continuously for days with no ETA on repair. no help or advice on how to clean/ or bathe during these times and no resources provided. Further more water is allocated through the complex and management provides no insight to actual water being used vs the various leaks which have not been address (these being the pool and the lower section of the complex boiler). The complex has no one to hold it accountable and apartment is quickly becoming nightmare for its tenants with concerns for the availability of water to do basic necessities like cooking, cleaning, or bathing. the biggest offense has to be the billing. i inquired about a doubling of my allocated water charge late December 2021. the issue took 7 months to resolve and this was due to management dragging their feet on what they felt called "higher utility charges" (SAWS rates had not changed) Desi with management ultimately said he reached out with the company responsible for billing and **** said everything was accurate it just looked higher because rates went up. i then called the company responsible for billing and found out that i had been charged as if 2 people lived in the unit when there had never been a second person living in the apartment with me. ultimately the billing company give me a credit for the incorrect bills but i can't imagine i am the only person this has happened to. I strongly urge the BBB to investigate if this fraudulent over charging is still happening especially to the many senior citizen who live here and don't have the means or ability to move from here.Initial Complaint

I have called and gone into the office about having no AC. Say they will fix it soon and two weeks later, still no AC. The property manager was rude and not willing to reimburse for hotel stays, nor discount my rent. Property manager stated I'm on a list and there's 20 other people in front of me with broken AC units. The apartment is not in living conditions, it shows its ***** degrees inside the unit.Initial Complaint

We moved in to our apartment a month ago. We had applied in July. Our apartment was not make ready, in fact was not even cleaned. The cleaning lady was rude and did almost nothing! We filled out a 2 page inventory of many issues that needed to be fixed. I hand delivered it to ******, one of the managers. Maintenance did not come as promised and when he finally did, I was informed they LOST it! I'm a disabled gulf war veteran! I emailed management several times and have not received any response! The tub needs to be resurfaced and bathroom sink needs to be replaced, the garbage disposal doesn't work and there is NO FIRE EXTINGUISHER! Our apartment has a fireplace!!! I have asked for corporate's number but again, NO RESPONSE! Maintenance was also advised of a dead stray cat in the parking lot yet it was never disposed of! This is unacceptable! My roommate and I are both elderly disabled and I am a disabled war veteran. The parking spaces in front of the stairwells will soon cost $50 to rent, yet there is no handicap parking available for us! We have made repeated requests for onsite management to look at our apartment but after 4 months have yet to receive a response!
