We did in home ****** package that consisted of 8 ******s. Trainer ****** had a big attitude while setting up the ******s--even before the first training session! His communication was poor and misleading--causing us to be stood up by him on our first ******. Because of his unprofessionalism, I asked for another trainer to be assigned but I was told the wait would be a long one so we reluctantly went ahead with him. Off Leash uses a punitive method of training rather than a reward-based method and basically the dog will "obey" as long as they have that prong collar on but once it's off, forget it. ****** had our dog in a ****** for teaching heel and our dog wasn't having it that day and he kept increasing the frequency and yanking her up by her neck and she was crying out. I felt after that day that this method is not a good one but I pushed ahead because I had paid so much $$. After trying to schedule our 5th ******, he stopped communicating with us and next thing I know I'm contacted by the Off Leash office letting me know he was no longer with rhe company. After all this ****, I asked for a refund for the last three ******s and was told they'd get back with me on that because in the contract I signed, it states you can't get a refund after the first 2 ******s. Shame on me for not reading the small print. After a week of no response I had to call them and was told "sorry"--supposedly no exception could be made to their refund policy for what occurred--on their part-- after "the first two ******s ". I was, however, offered to be assigned to another trainer and a "bonus" ****** would be offered. I do not want to schedule ******s with another trainer and feel that we should get a refund due to Off Leash's failure to provide quality training.
