I selected and paid for 2 garage doors for my home at **** Flamingo on June 7, 2022 and still do not have garage doors almost a year later. The initial order was filled but the delivered doors were the wrong size due to Precision's measurement error. I was told they were re-ordering different doors that would fit and I ok'd this. Since then, I have been told repeatedly I would be getting the doors but it has been nearly a year since I bought them. Now they do not even return calls or emails. My last communication from ********************* with precision garage doors was mid February stating the doors would be arriving in a week or two (I have copy of that email). Since that time I have called an emailed multiple times requesting answers and she does not respond so I have asked for my 11 thousand dollars back and she still does not respond. They also left the garage doors that don't fit and other garage door parts piled on our property and I want them to haul off their mess so I can start over somewhere else with trying to get garage doors.

We have spoken to the customer and her product is coming in mid-June. Once her doors arrive, we will install her doors. Our distributer has given the customer a discount on her balance due that she accepted.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The amount agreed on was $3,000 off the remaining balance of $5,528.30 to bring the new balance due to $2,528.30.

I had precision garage door company come out and repair my garage door. The cabal was off and one roller was off. He gave me a price of 250 which was high but I agreed. Then after fixing the door he said that did not include labor and the price was over 400. Eventually he agreed to take 300 but he was doing me a favor at that price as he would not get paid.I called the office that sent him out and complained but they said the price would have to be in writing for them to honor it.And she agreed with the technician that he had done me a favor on the price. He was here list than an hour. When I got the invoice it said he has installed a garage door.Yet he has only made minor repairs

      Ma'am,

Every job that Precision Door performs MUST be given a signature of approval by the homeowner before we even start the work per company policy.  Every technician, EVERY TIME. This means you approved the repair as well as the price. The $298 you were charged included a waived labor fee as well as all waived surcharges.  To avoid doing the work absolutely free you were charged the same rate we would charge any customer to repair a job of your nature. This attitude that we took advantage without you knowing is not only ******** it's insulting. You have yelled at every office member we have and even a number of other employees .....as well as bad-mouthed us on multiple platforms just to get your way.

We will not be bullied by you.

We do not work for free. That is not going to change no matter how much or how loud you yell. By waiving every fee we are able to we have considered this matter handled as politely and completely as we can.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because I still am.nit understanding if no parts were involved how he could say he waived the labor fee.

This makes zero sense. I am not arguing about the fee I paid, I am arguing about the fact he told me at the price he charged he would not get paid.

This is intemidation. He was at my home for less than one hour. How could he not of been paid if he collected 298 from me

What was the discount of his labor? Remember he attached a cabal and put one a roller and did nothing else.

Not does it explain why my **** said he installed a garage door.

No one is saying they should not get paid, but to tell me with labor that those charges should of been more than 409 is absolutely ridiculous.

      Regards,

YOU signed off on the price before any work was performed. I can not stress this enough. This is not intimidation. BEFORE we started working you had a chance to accept or refuse service at the price given. If you didn't like the price THEN would have been the time to argue or refuse it. That time has now passed.

How we pay our employees is honestly none of your business. Your **** was $298. Total. For garage door repair.

To clarify, our "hung door fee" does not mean the fee to hang a door. It means to repair a door that was "hung up and/or not working properly." Which we did.

Your charge due was the same as we would charge anyone for the same repair. Time is not a factor in our price. Expertise on how to fix a garage door is. As well as the supplies used to do so. We do not **** by the hour. We do not use your equipment or tools. We come to you, fix the problem, and charge you for the repair. Like any home repair professionals would.

We gave you  the opportunity to refuse the price/service before the work was performed. You accepted the price.
