City was putting in sidewalk in my area . Im retired and was watching. The bobcat driver was breaking the curb and digging up dirt in front of property to put in framing for sidewalk. After sidewalk dried, bobcat scooped dirt pile on my lawn low enough to add sand base then add grass squares. Bobcat driver got most of my front done except about 8 ft part. He was called away to load dump trucks. Grass crew came and put down grass squares even on 8 ft part mound not yet removed and sand added. I told grass crew about it and he said it was OK. It would go down. I told project manager ***** it was not done the same way to obtain correct level of grass. Then after a few times they came by and painted raised area. Said they would get it later. Month went by and then after more calls they came by with a level and said not enough angle to warrant an action taken. I told them it was their process that was not followed that caused the raised area and it was going to effect water runoff. Since they did it wrong, they should fix it. He said sorry cant do anything about it

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. We would like to clarify that *** ***** was not a customer of FD ********************* nor did he directly hire us to perform any work at his residence. FD Concrete was contracted through the City of *********** to complete the sidewalk installation in Mr. ******* area. Any concerns regarding the city's work, is to be directed to the City of ************************************* where they can be addressed by the appropriate department.

In this situation, a representative from the City of ************ Mr. ****** did go out to *************** and assessed the area with a level and concluded that the angle did not require further action, as stated by Mr. ***** in his complaint. To further clarify, Mr. ****** did not instruct FD Concrete to make any changes to the area. The project has since passed its final inspection, which confirmed there were no deficiencies.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I am rejecting this response because:
When I brought it up to ***** **********, he informed me he told the contractors about it. I have his text messages telling he did so. He did not once say that he was rejecting my demand. I can provide the text  I am also going to send another text to ***** telling me what they just told you and get his response

    Complaint: 22391393

I am rejecting this response because:
The grass squares were incorrectly placed. There was an 8 ft section that did not have the excessive dirt pile removed prior to placing down the grass squares which caused the higher area near the new sidewalk that will effect water runoff. Doesnt matter if its not high enough to warrant an action on your part, it warrants an action due to the workers not stopping grass placement when they saw the excess dirt was not removed and sand should have been in its place like the bobcat drive just did to the rest of my front yard coming in contact with the new sidewalk.

    Regards,
