    I scheduled a roundtrip ride with Safe Ride Health for Monday, March 10th, to be dropped off at the dentists office at 10:50am and dropped off at home at 12:28pm. As a carefirst member I get 6 one-way rides per year, so to schedule this round trip, 2 rides of the 6 available were deducted, leaving 4 remaining rides. On Monday, March 10th at approximately 8am, my appointment was changed to Friday. So I went on Safe Ride Healths website FAQs to determine how to reschedule. Instructions were listed to log into my portal to cancel the rides, which I did. After cancelling the rides, the itinerary said Cancelled in red letters, and I recieved a text message a bit later from Safe Ride Health confirming this cancellation. This text message is time stamped at 8:22am. Close to an hour and a half before the pickup time. I then rescheduled my ride for my new appointment time on Friday. The next day I went on to my portal to make sure the cancelled rides had been refunded to my account only to discover that they hadnt. I now had only 2 rides remaining in my account. I immediately called Safe Ride Health and was told by the representative that he saw Id canceled but the person in charge failed to communicate my cancellation to the driver, resulting in the driver marking me a no show and deducting the rides from my account. He then forwarded me to care first member services to get it sorted, but care first told me Id have to sort it out with Safe Ride Health, so I called them back again. After calling back, I was told by a different representative that he had checked with manager, and was told that I was not entitled to get my rides back, because it doesnt show in the system that I cancelled. The manager completely ignored my time stamped evidence of my claim and did not offer a way to submit this evidence. I requested to speak with a manager and Im still waiting to hear back. I want my rides back and a BIG apology for the managers incompetence on this matter.

    saferide canceled 9 rides in the last 2 days im about to have a heart attack

    Jan 1 st 2025 i called saferide to schedule rides for the month of January starting the 8th. I called all the way til the night before they kept getting it wrong. On the 8th I had 3 appointments but they only schedule the 1 p.m and skipped 2 morning appointments. I called back on that had to give saferide the same appointments over and over. They canceled the rides and tried to start over which really messed things up even worser. I even had a Aetna *** on the phone with us. Anyway I missed my ride with saferide on the 8th of Jan but somehow they're counting an incomplete ride then show canceled. I only rode with saferide from home address to ************** in ******************** on January 9th. I request my ride to be reimbursed for taking me to 3 appointments on January 8th. I have made many complaints with *****.

    In the past week, Saferide has set me up with two rides that were extremely abusive with threatening behaviors. I tried to reach out to Saferide and the first ********** this morning was extremely rude and said she didn't handle my account and would give the information to the person that did and they would call me and they never did. I was also told that when I filed the grievances with safe ride someone would get back with me and no one has. I called ******************* and she was kind enough to connect me with a ********** at saferide and that woman was very nasty, very rude to ******************* and I was left on hold for over five minutes so I hung up. This behavior will never be acceptable and I need to address this in other avenues I will do so.
