Hutchins grossly overcharged me with a bill of $524.40 to clear a drain from the front of the house to the main sewer line on May 13, 2024. The work of the employee took no longer than 20 minutes. The employee said Hutchins has a "flat fee" for the work, set before work has even begun, which MIGHT have taken a couple of hours to correct. It did not. It took 20 minutes. I was led to believe I had a very serious problem that would require a great deal of work to correct. When I complained about the sky high fee, the management did reduce the bill to $437.00, which is still way too high for such a simple procedure. I feel that I've been taken advantage of, and will never use Hutchins Plumbing again. I urge anyone with a plumbing issue to look elsewhere for help.

Good morning ***** and thank you for your review. As we stated before, we provide a price upfront before any repairs are done and it is your choice to ether except or decline the services. Repairs can take up to 30 minutes and other times it may take longer as this is always unknown until work has begun and the price would not have changed. We are sorry you feel that you think you were taken advantage of, but knowing before anything is done is the most honest way to do business. Our prices are based off a national average and are not just based off labor. There is a lot involved with overhead, maintenance of equipment used and vehicles etc. Please note that we back our drain cleaning with a 30 day warranty and will always be here for your needs.Review fromPeggy
