    I called to inquire about a bogus debt with assetcare llc and was told that for a fee they could clear my entire credit report of negative reports and tried to scam my bank account. I didnt give any bank info but they still were able to access my account.

    They claim I own 720 dollars for a medical procedure - last time I had a procedure was in 2019 - it is *************************************************** which date it happened. They are scammers.

    They keep calling me, my brother and another number for someone else. This has happened multiple times (same number on caller ID), and they call each number one after the other within a minute or less apart. I called the number back twice and both times they would only say "we deal with personal matters," and that's it, no other information at all. And whenever I try to ask for more information about the company itself, the person on the phone gives an attitude and just repeats the company name over and over again, until they hang up on me. Neither of us are affiliated with the person they're trying to reach, and we don't have any outstanding debt. If they're so desperate for money, then shouldn't they call the correct person instead of harassing us? I had to look up the company name that they mumbled over the phone to find out that they're a debt collection agency, which they refused to tell me. I already told them to stop calling, let's see how long it takes before they call again. They're also using the number of a different, local business, probably without their permission.

    Checked credit report and collection on account that is not mine and which I never received any communication on which is against the Fair Credit Debt Collection Practices Act. Completely deceptive in an attempt to collect money on an account they never verified was mine or that they own legally. I sent email today but will be contacting ***** Law to pursue this as this is absolutely unacceptable that any company could do this and get someone's credit affected. After reading these reviews I will not stand by and allow this and sit back and wait for them to play a game with the info they send me.

    I keep receiving calls from this company. The Company keeps calling me, asking for someone who I do not know. ************* has been calling me for 8 years. I ask the company to remove my number. I have blocked many phone numbers but a new number keeps calling. I do not have any bills in collection with this company. Please stop calling me .

    I received a statement from Asset Care trying to collect money.The statement was vague and not showing any reason for the collection.The statement states there was a write off of money and there was an adjustment made.It does not show what services were performed and why this money is owed. If your asking for money; you should have detailed information why you are requesting funds. You should have the original paperwork that shows the funds due. I returned the statement twice asking them for details and they sent me back the same paperwork.I will be sending it back again requesting details; we will see what happends, but I am not optomistic about getting the proper paperwork.In the meantime, they get to mess around with my credit. I hate the games. No wonder they a horrific customer rating. I am sure there ****** rating is the same. I own a small business and could not get away with the paperwork they send and expect to get paid. Get it together.I gave one star because you have to give at least one.

    Got a demand letter from a collection agency named Assetcare, for a medical bill involving Emergency Room doctors' treatment in the amount of $2461.00. The letter also explained that Assetcare would settle this if I accepted a "special offer" of $1476.60, which had to be paid promptly. Researched this and found that the doctors involved with this billing are ****************** Services of ******* PA. ******** explains to me that the bill was paid in full in December of 2022 and that they did not refer anything to Assetcare. I have a copy of the check to ******** showing the check cashed and cleared in Dec 2022. How does this happen? Senior citizens like me are easily rattled and might have fallen for the "special Offer" and paid the bill twice. Can you please look into this. Will gladly provide my personal information if requested. Thank You ********************

    I received a call today stating I owed over $700 for a procedure completed in 2019 and stating it was due to insurance not covering. I asked for an itemized bill because I know that I had paid significant amounts to these procedures and paid an amount before procedure even occurred. I contacted the hospital and they stated that I only ever owed $529 dollars after payments collected and it was already handled and completed with a completely different collection company for the portion that was left over after other payments received. I have yet to receive and itemized bill from this company. Due to the fact that this was from 2019 and seeing so many others having this same issue, I am not going to be paying this. Im not even able to have insurance re-evaluate if this is actually correct due to the length and the hospital does not even use this billing system any more and has no record. This is a scam! Needs to be investigated. The hospital basically stated there is no way to even ************ due to changing systems. Will be looking into a lawyer to fight this.

    I just had this company contact me stating I owe a bill from 2016 which is complete bs! It is 2023 . I have no debts whatsoever. This place is insane and by all these comments with the same issue that I'm now going through it needs to be investigated!!! And as for suing them I would like to get in on this. I worked very hard to get my credit good and I'm not going to let a scam of a company ruin it!!
