      I am in the middle of the process to get a loan, and I come to find out when I had my credit run that this company had placed a debt onto my credit report without my knowledge. I have had no contact with this company at all and I have no idea or reason why they have charged me with a debt.

      I was notified by ************ today, December 19, 2024, that there was a collection on my credit. I checked my credit and discovered Elevate Recoveries LLC, a company I had never heard of before and who had never contacted me about a bill. I was shocked to see that $1,279 had been reported as collection with their name listed as the original creditors. I have no information regarding this debt, and I was never contacted by phone, email, or letter fromElevate Recoveries LLC to communicate with me about this debt throughout the previous 12 months or more, I demand and require that they furnish paperwork and verification of the debt, along with any communication method they may have on file that have been used to contact me. Additionally, I demand that this record be immediately deleted from my credit file because I have not heard from either this firm or the original company regarding any debt I may have had in the previous years.

      This collection agency asked me to provide my credit card information to be charged for $1 in order for me to see where my charges are coming from. I declined and disputed through creditkarma. I then received an email regarding what my collection balance is for. This company is fraud.

      Checking my creditkarma account it shows and account I'm 100% unfamiliar with in collections. I've never heard of this company or had any accounts open with the amount they're showing as owed. ELEVATE RECOVERIES LLC is all over this site being labelled as fraudulent/scam, I'm apparently a new victim? There isn't even an account number provided, just a report stating I owe them $2238. I don't have an outstanding balance with anyone or have ever had an account of that amount.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have people robbing my wages under false pretenses and possibly my identity stolen. I will not be sending a list of my credit report nor will any of the credit bureaus. I do not understand why they would need to see my entire report. They should know the info of who they send to collections. I *** other companies, I will not own up to something I do not owe especially by a company I've never heard of.

      The reviews on this company all say the same thing. This company randomly just appeared on their credit report. When they call the number provided they advise to file police report for identity theft.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I would first like them to locate and share with me the information pertaining to this particular case. Who is the "original creditor?" What is it that "I signed my name for?" When? Account number? Give me something. Once this happens we can move on to validity. Thank you.
