had a frameless shower door and enclosure installed in 2018 and the door ***** has now failed the business website states Lifetime Product Guarantee. the cost to repair as stated by mr ***** is now to cost 300usd and i say what about your guarantee? he then states how about 200usd just for laborBusiness response

The customer did not directly hire me, I did the work through a contractor for ************************ *********************. This customer called me and I told him that the hinges only have a three year warranty and We installed it back in 2018 so the warranty is out of date. Then I explained that the hinges have a three year guarantee from the manufacture. We only offer a life time guarantee on the glass coating if they purchase it. That is the only product that has a life time guarantee. I offered to cover the hinge for the guy but I told him he would have to pay the labor to have it installed. which is ****** and I never heard back from him.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: your lifetime product guarantee statement on your website and how a member of the bbb can voilate the consumer protection act?
