In 2018 my father passed away and left me his truck, the truck started to get to expensive for an 18 year old making minimum wage to maintain and to drive, given that it was a diesel. So I took it to Bruner to trade in, which was the hardest decision of my life and still deeply regret it every waking moment of my life. Given that I had never stepped foot into a car dealership before this moment I had no idea what to say or do, also I had no other family that could help me since my father was the only relative I had here in *****. So when I walked into the Bruner ***** dealer in stephenville I was approached by a car salesman that was extremely nice and very helpful (at least I thought), we worked out a deal on a car and I was told to come back tomorrow to finish the deal. So the next day I went back and was given all the documentation on the vehicle including the car fax, I didnt notice anything because I had never even seen a car fax report before given that I had never bought a vehicle before this moment. The salesman stated that it had a clean car fax report and everything was finalized. Skip ahead a year later I went to a dealer in ******** ***** to sell the vehicle and when running the car fax the dealer told me that the car fax reported two wrecks on the vehicle!!!!. He showed me the report and explained everything to me about it, thats when i told him about Bruner, even he said they screwed me. I tried to call and every time I got transferred to the manager it would hang up, apparently when asking around this is not the first time someone has had problems with this dealer. Long story short they screwed me out of a lot of money and took advantage of a 18 year old kid that had zero knowledge in car buying. I wont say dont use them because I know some are very professional and honest, but I will say be cautious dont let the same thing happen to me happen to you. Learn from my mistake and do your research and be informed!
