            I bought a Certified Pre Owned 2020 Ram 1500 on 1/5/2024 for $40,000. I bought it because of the Certified Pre Owned warranty. The Car Fax report said that it was a Certified Pre Owned vehicle and was certified on 11/17/2023 by Tomball Dodge. The Internet listing for the vehicle also said that it was a Certified Pre Owned vehicle with a 7 year or 100,000 mile warranty plus emergency roadside assistance. The used car salesman, Chris *****, confirmed that the vehicle was covered under a Certified Pre Owned warranty. When I had the vehicle serviced, the service department informed me that the vehicle was not certified or covered under warranty. The used car department and the finance department also said that the vehicle was not certified and that they can not resolve the issue. The finance department said that the vehicle was advertised as a Certified Pre Owned vehicle because a Certified Pre Owned inspection was completed, but that the vehicle is not covered by a Certified Pre Owned vehicle warranty. The vehicle was fraudulently sold as a Certified Pre Owned vehicle. I would not have bought it otherwise. I am seeking an extended warranty or a refund for the vehicle.

            False advertising, Bait and Switch, illegal lending practices; made for quite a morning! They advertise their “Pink Perfection Price” which is fake and only a ploy to bring you in. I was told by Pierre and Victor; “that price is lower than the vehicle is worth; I need to help the dealership make money too”. “ If I want the low price I cannot pay cash, or finance at a low rate with my good credit; I have to accept a 11% rate so they make money. Or I can let them raise the price; and get a lower rate”. Anyone see a pattern here?! Their practices are not misleading they are illegal and constitute lending fraud. That has been recorded and filed. Please, stay away from this place. They rely on people not to ask questions and not to pay attention to the deal. Terrible Dealer and should at minimum be sanctioned by Chrysler. Worst experience ever. They don’t like those that ask questions. Be smart! Stay away!

            The pink perfection price at Tomball Dodge, a customer must qualify for the incentives that go along with that price. Tomball Dodge advertises its best price, which is aggressive advertising to generate traffic. Tomball Dodge is a family owned business and has been in business for a very long time and prides itself on customer service and taking care of the customer. It is not a non profitable business, a deal will happen when it makes sense both to Tomball Dodge and the consumer.
