In May 2022, we were moving to a senior high-rise and needed an electrician to do an inspection of our home. We called Mr. Electric and scheduled, but they were not available for about a month. I found someone else who could do it sooner for less cost. We canceled Mr. Electric and they said we would get a refund but we did not. The local franchise closed and we have called the corporate headquarters numerous times.We called 10/13/22 and they said someone would follow up ASAP We called 10/27/22 and they said someone would call us back from corporate We called 10/31/22 and also to their parent company Neighborly and were again told someone from corporate would contact us We called 11/4/22 and they said they would mark it most urgent for them to follow-up We called 11/10/22 and they said they would make it a priority message for corporate follow-up We called 11/16/22; finally got a call back 11/17/22 from *************************** at Mr. Electric, who apologized that it has taken so long and he will personally see that it is resolved.We called ************** back 11/27, 11/30 and 12/7 and left messages. On 12/19, we got a hold of him and he said they were talking to their legal counsel about what to do.We left ************** follow-up messages 1/5/23, 1/11, 1/24, 1/26, 2/2 and 2/9 with no response.On 1/24, we filed a complaint with the ***** *********************** We are senior citizens and it's not right that they're keeping our money until we die when they never did the work. We want our money back. This is terrible.
