On Tuesday June 4 I met with sales rep ****** about buying a Charger or Challenger. Their web site states they would pay $1,000 more than my highest written offer on my trade in which I provided. Car *** offered $38,400 for my truck and ****** stated that were not going to offer me $1,000 over the CarMax price. They stated they would only pay $38,400. That should have been my first warning sign.****** told his sales manager ********** was going to purchase the vehicle and brought out the offer sheet. Their web site stated the car was $33k + and but the offer sheet was much higher than advertised. They had the Memorial Day sale still listed on their web site before I left my home to go to the dealer and was updated later in the day. I advised ************** was not going to pay that price on the offer sheet and asked him for my keys to my truck. ****** asked me to stay and that he would talk to his manager. He came back with a reduced offer which I agreed too but told him I did not want to pay the $1750 in add ons. He said the Manager agreed to remove the add ons and stated congratulations you own a new I noticed before I was about to officially sign for the car that the add ons were still on the contract and I told him ****** stated I did not have to pay it. He said that was not correct and I had to purchase the add ons. I told the finance manager that I was not going to pay it. He stated he was sorry and went back to give me my truck keys back and I drove home.Im an old 100% disabled veteran and was almost killed serving my country. I received a traumatic brain injury and sometimes can be taken advantage of due to my disability. I even have disabled Texas license plates and have trouble functioning on a daily basis. Thank God I actually read all the documents given to me by the financial manager or I would have been screwed over by paying too much for that vehicle. *********************** was our service advisor. ************************************* is the manager. This location is horrible, and they have no care to meet the customer needs. They over charge, and are over priced. Our vehicle was misdiagnosed, and we are still experiencing problems that we originally seeked service for. DO NOT bring your vehicle here for any type of service. You will not be satisfied.
