When I went to have a transfer switch installed,massive electrical code violations and issues were discovered in my main box,under and in my house.Several of these issues put my house at risk of burning and also risked the entire electrical system on my property as it was my main box linked to the power pole that had the original issues.I contacted the company I purchased my home from,Crown Mobile Homes in ****************,**,specifically *********************, my salesman and General Contractor during construction,and alerted them to the issues.They were provided with pictures,videos,and screenshots and links to the ****** Codes website.I even had my licensed electrician speak to them directly.I asked that they cover HALF of the cost of fixing it since it was their Contractor,whom as far as I can tell was not a licensed electrician,who caused the issues to begin with.The responses I got were "there are no building codes in Van zandt county","I've asked lots of people and they said there's nothing wrong",and "this is how we've been doing it for 20 years".They gave me $200 towards a $1k bill for repairs and told me to "remember all the times we went above and beyond for you".It was a Crown Mobile Contractor that ruined the interior of my house with his tape,bed,and texture job,who installed my septic and did such a terrible job,the entire main line from my house to the septic had to be readjusted so it'd stop backing up in my house and they didn't bother insulating my main water line,and who was my original dirtwork guy that attempted to rip me off for $12k.Then,instead of hiring the professional I found to fix the dirt work,************ hired his brother,using my money,and had him,on a skidsteer rented by Crown Mobile,attempt to fix what was done and complete the project.It was poorly done so I ended up having to hire the professional I found anyway to redo it again.Due to all of these issues,I can not recommend people do any business with Crown Mobile Homes.
