      Ordered an astrophotography filter. I got a voicemail stating they entered my credit card information incorrectly, but it had been corrected. Will not respond to emails. Phone voice mailbox is full. I contacted my credit card company to refund payment. Terrible business.

      I sent my canon R5 off for repairs to them. After repairs they shipped it back to me. The camera was delivered to the wrong address. When I went to recover it. It was missing. They have given me the run around stating it was my responsibility. The camera has a value of $4000 and used for my business. I’ll I am requesting is replacement

      In February of 2022, I dropped my Panasonic Lumix camera in the sand. I contacted Spencers Camera to inquire about repair. I was told that they may be able to fix it and to send it to them, which I did. After about three weeks of silence I reached out for status of my repair. A girl answered, confirmed that they were in process of evaluating my camera and that the owner was away and would call me soon. He never did. And I have not been able to reach them by phone or email since. I actually drove to their 'store' location, which is actually just a home in a suburban neighborhood, to retrieve my camera. As the home sits in a large, fenced property, I did not approach. Since I went by (March 30, 2024) I have called numerous times and emailed almost as many with no response. So basically, judging from all of the similar complaints that I am seeing here, Spencers Camera is actually just STEALING peoples cameras!!! If anyone else on this thread sees this, please contact me at ********************* to organise a lawsuit.

      Spencer’s camera advised me to buy a camera, I was advised this model will not have a problem with these modifications. i bought it. I paid and sent in the camera for Spencer’s camera to modify in September 2022 I received the camera back over a month later faulty. I emailed about this and no reply, wouldn’t answer my phone calls… Nearly 3 months later got the owner on the phone and said they responded to my email and must be in spam mail. It wasn’t. Told me to send my camera back for repairs…. I did. 5 months later I receive my camera back and it was worse than when I sent it for Spencer’s camera to repair their fault. The owners excuse about 5 month delay on repairing their faulty work was that the weather was bad and he couldn’t test my camera. I checked the weather forecast constantly in his area and the weather was good quite a bit. Eventually I was told my camera was fixed and would be posted the next day. It wasn’t. Called a month later and the owners excuse was a girl in the shop taught the camera was for repair and didn’t send it out! Eventually he sent my camera back to me worse. When I received my camera I tested it and knew it was worse with in 15 seconds of testing. Email and called but no reply or answer. 9 months now I paid for a service, I’ve now a faulty camera that Spencer’s camera have damaged I paid $700+ for this service and €1000 for the camera The camera is unusable. Really bad company to deal with, really bad service I’ve emails and YouTube videos of Spencer’s advice to buy this model camera that it doesn’t have this problem, but after the modifications that Spencer’s have done my camera has these problems and is unusable. Spencer’s camera admitted it was their fault and didn’t charge me for the repairs. The repairs made my camera worse, Very hard to understand how a company claims to be the best and can conduct business in this manner and standard Very disappointing and depressing experience I’ve had dealing with this company

      Purchased a modified camera from Spencer's Feb. 2022. When I received the camera, I noticed that there were dots/dings in the resulting photos. I emailed Spencer's about this and repeatedly asked if I'd have to pay for shipping considering they gave me faulty product. Then only answer was they'd look at it and go from there. I eventually send back the camera via Fedex (CAD300) in May and after months of repeated follow ups, they finally sent me back the "fixed" camera in August. When I turned on the camera, it gave me "Err 70" so I couldn't even use it at all. No longer trusting Spencer's, I returned the camera and asked for a full refund including the $300 I spent for the initial shipping. They gave me a full refund for the camera purchase but not the shipping. If you check the IG messages, Spencer's actually confirmed that they sent me a camera whose is part of a batch of faulty camera. I shouldn't be out of pocket for a faulty product. I would like a refund of the FedEx shipping cost.
