  I rarely ever **** off enough to come on BBB to leave a review, but this company did it for me. This is a 1 star rating because zero stars is not possible. Early July I ordered a filter (~$150) from them and they successfully charged me and a few days later they issued the shipping tracking. It has not been over 2 weeks and the item still has not shipped and *** has no idea what is going on. Additionally the store is not responding to emails or phone calls (repeated calls and emails to all their contact info). I finally had to go through my credit card to get my money back from them. I found these guys on ******* as they had some really informative videos and tutorials and they were helpful in me actually deciding on going to modified cameras, but i am so thankful i didnt use them for my conversion otherwise i'd be out a camera too. if you are looking for an alternative for camera conversions use LifePixel. Within 3 weeks they had my camera converted and sent to me and they were super responsive over email and phone. Bad businesses do not deserve your money.

  I seldom go out of my way to write a bad review but I feel I must share my personal experience and warn others. I had a brand-new camera converted to astro photography in August 2021 by Spencers Camera. It worked for about a month and then locked up: I then sent it in to Spencers for repair. While it was in for repair, I spoke to directly to *******************************, asking him what was wrong with the camera and could they convert to full spectrum, he said yes. The problem required some parts, full issue not disclosed. I indicated I would pay for both, please **** me. After a month the camera arrived, no **** and no confirmation of work done. I called and spoke with ******************************* again inquiring if the full spectrum work had been done and he said yes. I asked him what did I owe him and he said nothing which I thought was strange. Well, it wasnt done, I shot for six months as a reported full spectrum camera and found out only when I contacted ***************, an infrared photographer, for some coaching, that the camera was not full spectrum. That diagnosis was confirmed by Kolari Vision, who performed the conversion at a cost of $525. I wrote ******************************* three weeks ago and received no response. Given reviews by others and my own experience, I dont think this is an isolated instance. Camera converters beware.
