      On 9/23/24 I requested the stores financial manager to cancel two service contracts and issue the payments towards my rv loan. This process is to take 30 to 60 days to resolve. The store never requested one of the contracts to be canceled and on the contract that they did cancel, they haven't issued a check to my lender and that was sent out to them on 11/15/24. No one calls me back, and I got a text saying this store went out of business. They do have a Helper, Utah location but no one is calling me back from there either. They are also supposed to replace to storage cover doors that were manufactur faults and no one has told me when or where they are. So there are 3 major issues, one being failure to submit a timely contract cancelation request, two to give me and my lender funds that were paid out that should go to my loan, and the third being the repairs they are required to complete on my rv.

      My problem is with the finance department at Castle Country RV NOT calling me back after several tries to reach them. I was told by the DMV in Idaho that because my fifth wheel was never registered in Florida (because we moved to Idaho) I need the finance dept to rewrite a check for the taxes in Idaho so I can get the fifth wheel registered. It has been over 5 months of requesting a call back with absolutely NO LUCK!!

      On Thursday morning July 11, 2024 I called Castle Country RV looking for a thermostat for my camper. I spoke with Josh in Parts and gave him the necessary information. He told me that they did not have one in stock but could have one the following day. He quoted me a price of $220. We discussed the timing of the part’s arrival. He told the truck usually came in between 10:30am and noon. I told him I would think about it and call him back in a few minutes. I called Josh back. I confirmed the price, the expected arrival time and told him to place the order. I called Josh the following morning to confirm the order had been placed. The timing of the parts arrival was important to me because we were staying in Garden City, UT which is an approximately 43 miles, and a 58-minute drive over a mountain to Logan, UT where Castle Country RV is located. My wife left Garden City at approximately 11:00am and drove over the mountain to get to Castle Country RV. She was there sometime after noon. I had asked her to confirm that the thermostat was black. She did this and paid for the thermostat. She returned to Garden City at approximately 1:50pm. I immediately checked the package and confirmed the color was correct. Then I checked the invoice which was in the package and discovered that she had been charged $263.59 plus tax. For a total of @82.04..I immediately called Josh. I told him he had quoted me a price of $220 and that I had been charged $263.59. Josh told me that if I came in, he would refund $43.59. I told him I was in the middle of something and that surely the matter could be handled over the phone. I told him I would call him back in a while. Later in the afternoon I called several times but no one in parts answered. At 4:14 a woman called. I explained the above. She confirmed that Josh had seen a price of $220 on the computer but that when the part arrived, they were charged more and therefore had to charge me the new amount. She refused a return.

      Bought a brand new camper in October of 22'. upon delivery, the dealer failed to include and deliver the extra parts and materials that were agreed upon and that we included into final price at the time of purchase. I had to rebuy said materials. At the time of delivery, my microwave was faulty and wouldn't function correctly. Called dealer and told me it was my responsibility to take out and replace with a new one they would deliver. over the next 3 months, I have noticed the following issues with camper. Gas line leaks on the propane line, sewer and waste PVC pipes were not sealed and leaked. My water heater also failed. When i called dealer to tell them to fix it, they told me again its my responsibility, wanted me to pay for the parts and shipping, but the service manager was aware that this was a VERY common issue with that water heater and failed to tell me. Also, my toilet water line developed a leak, and now the final straw is i had a water line break inside camper in bathroom and flooded my camper. I tried calling the dealership 5 times with either no answer or any call backs. After 6 hours of trying to establish communication, i got through to a salesman via text and expressed i was going to file a complaint with the BBB. shortly after that message, i got a phone call back from someone at the dealership. I would like the dealership to just buy the camper outright from me and take it back as i feel its a lemon and I don't want to struggle with this unit anymore. I've been trying to establish contact for over 5 days this week with no response. I'm upset because of the lack of communication and the fact that within minutes of delivery of my BRAND NEW camper, the dealership seemed unwilling to take care of the faulty products and have been a bear to deal with. I have some photos included of trying to contact them, but thats not all of the attempts. please feel free to contact me to follow up with any questions.
