      This company calls me dozens of time a day from many different phone numbers trying to sell to me and they will not remove me from their calling list.

      We have non functional soak panel equipment from this company and have made several attempts to try and have them resolve the issue only to be told they have no available technicians in our area and they have no estimated time for an available technician in the foreseeable future. This is completely unacceptable because we are making monthly installments on a product thats not functioning and they have no ability to repair it.

      My solar panels were installed. Everything finally passed inspection and was turned on. Then, I found:1) bags of garbage thrown in my shed (by the installers), which animals had torn apart. I had a mess to clean up!2) 100 feet of trenched yard to smooth out, fill in holes, plant grass seed. Hours of my time.3) Was told I don't get the tax exemption....the company would "enjoy that benefit"4) Illinois rebate would also be "enjoyed by the company."A minimum of $30,000. Plus the company said they would issue a check for $500 to cover the trash and grass seed (March 10, 2025 phone call at noon). The rebates and taxes were not mentioned when they were trying to sell me. So, I have a mess and no benefit AT ALL. Why would I get holes in my room, a torn up yard and a power bill almost the same as what it was before? I expected the rebate and tax exemption... I will end up paying $72,000 for these panels.

      I am rejecting this response because:  LGCY has NOT reached out to me.  I have called every single day and usually no one answers.  IF I find a human who speaks, they respond, "I'll have some one call you in minutes."  I have yet to have LGCY call me.  I also have not received the $500 check I was promised.

      The solar panels that were installed are not providing the power output we were promised. We were told that our electric bill would be eliminated. Now we are stuck paying both our electric bill and the loan payment. We informed LGCY that we wish to have the panels removed and they would be expected to take care of paying off the loan and take care of any costs associated with the removal of the panels. We have been reaching out to the representative for weeks regarding this matter and we still have not heard anything.

      March of 2024, a Lgcy Power salesman came knocking on our door and sold us on adding solar panels to our home. We signed the agreement and everything got started in April of 2024. We were told installation was to be complete in June 2024. In June 2024, solar panels were installed then we did not hear back from ANYONE until August/September of 2024 when WE began inquiring with Lgcy Power about what was going on. We were told someone was coming out soon and we were waiting on Xcel. Only, come to find out in October **************************** fact, not complete. A guy came out to install something with the cold water return in October ********************************************************************************** December 2024. Finally workers came out in January 2025 and did the SAME work as the gentlemen in October with the cold water return and completion of the installation process. We are apparently at the point where a state inspector is scheduled to come out, which was delayed from 2 weeks ago because they told us the wrong date they were coming out and we were not prepared, and then from there we will have to wait on Xcel to do their final inspection. Our contract states installation needs to occur in a "reasonable amount of time". We are unable to apply for the tax credit on our ********************************************************************************* December of 2025 and we will have no money from the tax credit to apply to our loan so that it does not mature to a more expensive monthly bill. We were told that there were issues with contractors in ******** from Lgcy Power, but we are now paying the price and will owe a much larger monthly bill because Lgcy Power has taken over 7 months to finish the installation process and who knows when we will actually get the solar panels turned on! The ONLY positive I can say is that Lgcy Power is currently reimbursing us for our monthly loan payment since the solar panels are not operational.

      While we do have our next inspection scheduled, nothing was mentioned about the fact that because the solar panels are so delayed, we are not being provided assistance or a response about the fact that our loan will mature this December to a much higher rate because we were not able to claim the solar panels on our taxes to get the credit, which we were assured that we would get, which is why we agreed to the solar panels in the first place. This whole process have been frustrating and had we known this would have happened, we never would have begun working with **** or purchased their solar panels.

      I believe june 3rd was when I signed up for what I believd was the il solar for all program. Legacy power was the co. I went through and **** ***** was the sales rep who deceived me in believing I was getting solar for free. Was assured the install would take 30 to 90 days. It took them six months to install the project, which did not surprise me because believing it was a state run program the State usually gets things done in their own time. The very fist thing I told ****, was if this was going to cost me anything I could not afford any new bills because groceries being high like they are we were not eating properly and the wife is supposed to be on a diabetic diet. If they cannot go through the channels to get the panels for free through the il solar for all program, PLEASE HAVE THEM REMOVED AS I CANNOT AFFORD THEM!

      We were approached by sales rep ***** ******* (sp?) about solar panels. We already had solar panels on our roof, but we were not happy with them. ***** promised us that if we provided a copy of the original contract for the current solar panels on our roof, Lgcy would be able to get us out of our original contract and install their panels on our home and not only would the panels be less expensive , but we would see more savings on our power bill. We were also told at install, we would receive a $2700 rebate - Our sales rep even said he would deliver the rebate in person. Not only did we not receive a rebate, but we now have solar panels from two different companies on our roof, as LGCY completely lied to us and we are now having to make payment to TWO COMPANIES for solar panel and TWO POWER COMPANIES and our sales rep has completely ghosted us!!! We have called and emailed LGCY and they are absolutely no help - they have practically ghosted us as well. They give us the runaround and will not even verify if the rep is still employed by their company.

      This company scammed me and I felt forced or obligated to sign a contract with them. I feel that because I am a senior citizen their salesman ****** took advantage of me. He never kept his word on anything that he told me, my son and my daughter and will not return calls. I have had my daughter contact this company asking for a contract since July 2024 and I still have not received one. They take advantage of elderly people. ****** told us that he would pay the Ameren bill until the solar got installed and that never happened. I was hit with a 1000 bill and almost disconnected. I live on a fixed income and his deceptive practices should not be allowed

      I am rejecting this response because: I have talked with them on several different occasions and nothing has come of it. When I voice my complaints to them about their salesman ****** and his deceptive practices they told me that I need to prove it. Well maybe they need to prove that he did not do these things. There are other people in our community that has the same complaint about said salesman. When you try and reach out to ******, he doesn’t answer phone or texts. The one time he answered he said NOT MY PROBLEM, take it up with Ameren.

      In June of 2024, we met with **** *****, a sales representative for LGCY Power, a solar panel provider. He spoke to us about what LGCY was doing to increase solar panel usage in *****, which would reduce our monthly energy cost and protect us from the volatile ********* market. He stated that they would design our panels to provide 110% of our required energy, and our monthly cost would be around $220, increasing by 3% each year. He also stated that we would receive a $1500 bonus for signing up. My husband and I have been thinking about getting solar panels for a few years, and this sounded like a reasonable way to get them without a lot of up front costs. We had the panels installed in August, and initially noticed that they were not producing 110%, but thought that it might take a month or two for them to take effect. We reached out to Mr. ***** in late September, and he asked for a copy of our energy bill, which he provided. We did not hear from him until late November, shortly before Thanksgiving. He told us that the issue was with our inverter not sending enough energy to the grid, and that someone would be out to have a look the Monday after Thanksgiving. This never happened. We did not hear from him, in spite of multiple text messages and emails; we'd get quick messages telling us he would call, but he never did.We finally got his manager's phone number and spoke to **** ***** on 1/2/25. He told us that he would be in touch in a week to let us know when we could expect someone to come out to look at our system. We never heard from him again, in spite of multiple emails and text messages. I've spoken with LGCY Power's customer service, and their initial solution was for us to purchase more panels. I spoke with them again today, and they are going to research our issue, but I will not hear back for 5-7 business days. In the meantime, we are paying almost $100 more per month for electricity, so the summer months will probably triple our bill.
