      Used Fox Pest Control for rodent issue. At first they helped identify entry areas, put down bait, and helped reduce the rodent issue. We would still get a few mice in the winter but the nothing like before. Then for some reason they stopped notifying us via call or text when they would arrive on-site and they would only treat the outside of the home. I think this was done intentionally to ensure our rodent problem would continue to require service. I called multiple times to complain and have them note a phone call or text is needed but the problem continued to persist. When I would call and complain and ask for a refund since the service was not provided they would not provide a refund or send a technician back out. The customer service teams blames this on the technician and different employees that handle the service/phone calls but in 2025 you can do better. They should have customer profiles that techs/call center/etc. can access. They should make you whole or send a technician back out. This is how they treated a customer 5+years into paying them for service.

      We had a fox pest control worker come to our house. We spoke to him about our concerns with wasps but let him know we are pollinator friendly and didnt allow pesticides to be sprayed in our yard. He said there were alternatives that we could discuss when the other person came around to provide the service. We scheduled an appt for them to come and talk. The day of the appt came and no one showed up. I waited over 5 hours past the scheduled appt time and then left to run errands. When I came home someone from *** was in my back yard. They had laid poison boxes for mice, which I had said I didnt want because I dont poison mice, and were almost completely finished spraying pesticides that I had specifically told them not to do. I was lied to and told that it would harm any of the pollinators. In the days after I found multiple dead bees. They came back again to finish the service and I reminded them that I had said no pesticides. So that was a second time they showed up and still no one ever discussed any alternative options with us that were safe. Instead, later that day, We were charged a $250 cancellation fee. No one called to tell us they would be charging us that, no one called to discuss any resolutions despite us being told they would. No one told us they were cancelling on our behalves. Very unprofessional, poor, and predatory business practices.

      Very Rude.The father of my children came by to pick up the kids. It was after 8pm, the guy came up and asked if I talked with my neighbors about the bad bug problem everyone's complaining about. I told him, I don't talk to my neighbors. He rolled his eyes and rudely said, Well you're talking to him. Before I could even respond he cut me off trying to push their services on me I told him no and that our current pest control we do ourselves is working amazing. He would not take no as an answer. Now he will be back tomorrow. I will be sure not to be polite this time and give him the same rude attitude he gave me. Thanks Fox Pest Control for attempting to ruin my night by putting your anger out on me, when I was just outside trying to say goodbye to my kids.

      A salesperson came to our door and talked my husband into signing up. She did not over any of the agreement, didn't disclose the initial fee and also did not have a solicitors permit. We contacted them to cancel within the 3 day period so cancelling wasn't difficult, but we also had an issue with the $316 initial fee charge as it was never disclosed before authorizing. All that was mentioned was the monthly fee.We did receive one service and I had no issue paying for it, so I asked if we could adjust the initial payment to the cost of the service. **************** told me that one 20 minute service was $400. Asked for an itemized invoice, they couldnt provide it with specific costs only products used. I took that to a few other pest control comapnies and they estimated the work/products used to be around $120-$160 total. I called again asking if we can adjust to something more comparable to the typical market cost, they continued on about how and why their service should cost $400. I asked again if we could get a specific price breakdown and they said they dont have that info. How as a business do you not know what a service costs? How do you not have a pricing schedule that takes into account the products, tools and labor? They said it was based on the salespersons quote then the monthly subscription charge. How did the salesperson determine that number then? *******. In the end they credited us $150 bringing our total to $166 which was ballpark to the other quotes, so customer service was helpful, but the company and their process alone was very predatory. The fact that they didn't go over any of the agreement before asking for a signature and cannot disclose how their quotes/prices are determined is a huge red flag and the person making that number up wasnt even legally allowed to be selling at my front door.

      Paid for a rodent prevention plan with Fox Pest Control. Had rats in garage. They set down mouse trap and in shed. Never came back to check. Never went into my crawl space or attic. I had my crawl space fixed with a vapor barrier, new insulation and a dehumidifier installed prior to this infestation. I now have rats in my crawl space, garage and attic. District manager told me they did not do what they were supposed to do and would follow up next day. Took him 2 weeks to get back to me. And his story completely changed. Said he spoke to tech and he said he did everything he was suppose to do. They sent out the technician who provided the service or lack of service. They are not accepting any responsibility for not providing proper service. Tech told me if I was having rodent activity I should call the city. (Is that a joke). Also said instead of them coming back to check traps I should have called them. Im not the pest control expert. They want $20,000 to rectify the situation again with no accountability on their part. I got the royal run around. Also told their was mold . I am a cancer survivor who has a fragile immune system. I spent 9 days over Christmas for a fungal lung infection. Im living on top of all the feces, urine and mold. Every time I called I got a different person. When I spoke to customer service yesterday they informed me they didnt feel they could satisfy me so they are cancelling my contract. **************** are they kidding. I feel they should take some responsibility/accountability for this situation. Its a horrible situation. Anything you to help would be greatly appreciated.

      Hello *****, We regret that you were dissatisfied with your service. Our records show that we first treated your home for rodents in October 2023. Over the following year, our technicians performed regular rodent treatments including placing and monitoring bait stations and traps. A number of conducive conditions were brought to your attention, including unsealed openings in your garage and shed, bird feeders and spilled bird seed, and some animal f**** in the yard. These food sources were both attracting new rodents and competing against our baits, which reduced the effectiveness of the treatment. These issues are the responsibility of the homeowner to resolve. In March, our Home Inspector examined your attic and crawl space, which showed significant damage. Treating and restoring these areas is not covered in our standard Home Protection Plan, so our inspector provided a quote for this separate service. A few days later, our Service Manager, Sterling, came to your home to perform your quarterly HPP treatment. His notes show you declined this service, but he advised weekly rodent treatments (which would have been done at no additional cost) until the rodent issue was resolved. Sterling called on 4/3 to follow up with you as requested, but there was no answer. However, our Branch Manager, *****, spoke with you on 4/4 to address your concerns. A service was arranged for 4/8. Our technician arrived at the scheduled time, however, due to a scheduling error on our part, the Service Manager was not present at the appointment. Because of this, you declined treatment again. Our office then arranged a manager visit for 4/11. The Service Manager, Sterling, spoke with you that morning prior to coming out. Due to significant verbal abuse during this conversation, a history of profanity and similar harassment to other team members, and multiple declined treatments, our Service Manager determined it was necessary to part ways. We regret that we had to come to this conclusion. As both our Service Manager and Office Manager explained, we performed all treatments in the scope of our servicing agreement. Unfortunately, we are not able to meet your demand that the exclusion and restoration work be done at no charge as this was not part of your service. We have closed your account and refunded your April payment to your card. A check refunding your February and March payments has been mailed to your home. Once again, we are sorry that we could not come to a more positive resolution. We acknowledge that improved communication on our part would have given you clearer expectations for your service, and we apologize for our shortcoming.       These are all lies! They set down mouse traps in 2023 but I had rats! Never came back to check them. They did not close off any entry points. I never declined them to look in my crawl space or attic. When the manager Sterling came out after seeing the pictures and told me they did not do what they were supposed to do. Said I was his #1 priority and would call me back the next day. He called after 2 weeks and will multiple attempts to reach him. By that time I was frustrated when he called me and totally changed his story that everything was done that should have been. And yes I said dont give me that BS! as d he hung up on me. The worst part is I am a cancer survivor with immunity issues and had to be hospitalized for 9 days over Christmas with a fungal infection in my lung which required a chest tube. I had already paid to have crawl space encapsulated and a dehumidifier put in . And *** wanted $20,000 to fix the problem taking no accountability for not providing the correct service. Give as many excuses as you want but you are responsible for this situation! And Im paying financially and health-wise. I have not received any check from Fox.. BBB GIVES *** a rating of 1.9 and I can see why.

      Horrible customer service, they did not cancel my account after I called multiple times.On Jan 31, 2024, I learned that a Fox technician was arrested on my block after having broken into a neighbors house. I recognized him from the mug shot.I called Fox that same day to cancel my account. They said okay, that they understood the situation, and that a service manager would be calling me that day. I never received a call back. I assumed they were just going to try to get my business back.Then on March 17, 2025, I received a text message that they were coming to service my home the next day. I immediately called ***, telling them that I canceled on Jan 31st and that I do not want my home serviced, and that I need to be refunded for the past 2 months. They looked up the notes from my call on Jan 31st. They again told me that a service manager would call me. I told them I do not need to speak to someone, I just need my account canceled and I dont want my home to be serviced. They again insisted that I look out for a call from a service manager. I explained again that I just needed my account cancelled.The next day, I received a text message that a technician was on the way to service my home. I called *** again, explaining everything that happened. They again insisted that I wait for a call back from the service manager. I told them that I have a job, I cannot just answer my phone at any time, that I took time out of my busy day to call them to cancel twice already, and that it is absurd for them to not actually cancel even though I called to cancel twice already. This is clearly a tactic to continue billing me, requiring that I pick up a call from a random phone number at a time thats convenient for them, instead of canceling my account when I called them at my convenience. Clearly my account should have been canceled the first time I called. And the second time I called. I can only hope they got the message the third time I called.Buyer beware.

      The first service, they sent out someone to help me 2 years ago. I then signed on to their monthly payment quarterly service.For the last 2 years I have not been getting my moneys worth what so ever. Ive paid them 63 a month for the last 2 years. All for them to spray around the house a few times a year.The service calls I did utilize throughout the years, where they would spray for bees and other specific areas. HOWEVER.Most recently, I had another issue where I found out there was a dead mouse in my basement. I called fox to have someone come out. They could not find the dead mouse, did not set any traps. They put a temp seal on the place where they thought they were coming in.Then within the next week, we found out mice were coming upstairs through our basement into our kitchen. I then called again and had someone come out. The service guy put down a trap (later come to find out this trap was not even set correctly and had no bait on it.)I then decided to call someonelse at a different company to try and help me out because *** does not do permanent seals, just temporary.Within 15 minutes of him being there, he found a very old pile of shrew p*** in my basement. *** did not catch this.He found the spot they were actually coming through into my basement, and other entry points that Fox also do not find. This company also showed me the trap that *** put down that was not set correctly Because of this I wanted to cancel my contract. *** said that would not charge me for the remaining 2 months I had on my contract. However, they charged me the first time. I had to call and get that refunded. Then once again, I have a 64 dollar bill once again for this past month they say I owe money ****** would be great if I could be refunded some amount of money for the fact that I paid to not get quality service or expertise.

      Signed up for 1 year contract. If you dont cancel they automatically renew for another year. Nearly impossible to cancel, I tried multiple times and they just keep putting you on hold to extend the call so youll hang up. My cancellation fee was crossed off on original contract. When I call to reference it, they cant see that on the 2 copies in my file and ask me to find the original or Ill have to pay the $250 fee. I have the original so no worries, but I checked my customer portal and the first document they uploaded in there last year was said contract with cancellation fee crossed out. Would not trust this company. Keep receipts/records of everything with them or they will try to pull one over on you.

      You give them a good rating, however they many complaints against them, so I appears that a complaint is useless.I canceled my service and they continue to withdraw funds from my bank account.
