I purchased a sofa on May 6th 2024 for approximately $1k. I waited 11 weeks and still didnt receive the sofa. I contacted Bed bath and beyond at least 10 times. They said they were reaching out to the warehouse to see when it would be shipped. No response. I escalated to a Supervisor three times and was told they would call me back but none ever contacted me. I left 3 messages for beyond *** headquarters, no call back. They cancelled my order and said it was out of stock when I ordered it, which is false! I asked for a discount for all of my troubles because at the this point it should be 50% off or free to purchase another sofa. I placed another order and asked for free expedited shipping but the supervisor has yet to call me back. This place should not be in business at this point. Bed Bath & Beyond was not contacted until 6/27 in regard to the order.
The ***************************** was offered the opportunity to cancel the order on 7/2 and to be refunded. The ************************************************************************************************************************************** wait for the order.
The order was cancelled 7/23. The ***************************** was sent a 20% coupon to purchase a new order.
The ***************************** placed a new order that ships with a different supplier.
The order could not be expedited. The supplier has a 5 day shipping time frame at their warehouse.
The new order has shipped. The ***************************** was refunded $100 back to their form of payment due to the issue with the previous order.

I had a Welcome Rewards Account with ***** points, worth $50.00. The Welcome Rewards membership expired on July 27, 2024. I logged into my account on July 27, 2024, and the account said that it expired and the rewards were removed from my account. When I reached out for help using the chat feature on the website, I was told that since I didn't renew the membership prior to July 27, 2024, the rewards expired. I advised that if it expires on July 27, 2024, that means I have until the end of that day to use the rewards. I asked that the issue be escalated and the agent said they would give me a 90 day trial and restore the rewards. The agent ended the chat. To date, the membership has not been reactivated and there are no points in my account. I reached out yesterday and was told to wait ***** after it was "restored". It has been over 72 hours at this point with nothing being reactivated. Seems like their chat agents are not honest and neither are their policies. If an offer expires on a certain day, it is good until the the end of the day. It is only with Beyond that says well if you don't renew your membership, we're going to revoke the offer earlier. False advertising perhaps?Business response

The *************************************************************** this in an email:So I was supposed to get a free 60 day trial membership and there is none on my account.
The agent had to have a supervisor provide the membership. The ***************************** was advised this can take ***** hours to activate.

I purchased an item on June 24, 2024 and it delivered on June 27, 2024.The item is advertised as having a "Easy 30-Day Returns".The item does not work properly (it is a curling iron - it does not heat up to the expected temperature), and I initiated a return via their online chat on July 18, 2024 - as their online/automatic return system was not allowing me to return the item.I then was roped along with emails promising the return label would be provided in "1-3 more days". For each of these emails I was forced to follow-up asking where the label was, and I would receive the same response "just a few more days". Then, on July 29, 2024 I receive an email saying it is past 30 days and they cannot return the item any longer, even though I requested the return within their 30 day refund window.Business response

On 04/21/24 on bought a shed online for $354.44, upon receiving it I realized some of the foundations parts was not correct. I reached out to customer care via email and they sent out new parts, upon receiving the new parts almost 3 weeks later, they were the same exact parts previously received still unable to build the shed. At this time I reached out to customer care asking how I can get a refund, which they said I had to box it up and return it (at this point I dont have any boxes (where it came in four separate boxes) and price out and they advised it would be well over $200 for the boxes alone. Their other suggestion was for me to keep the shed that can not be built and receive a $4 credit I am absolutely baffled about their neglect And disregard to meBusiness response

I've contacted Bed ***************************** regarding my refrigerator since it was delivered, but it is not cooling or freezing. Fast forward to today, I've been in sporadic communication with the warranty company, but with no success. Despite my calls and emails, I was informed that the replacement would be shipped to me while I was away. I explained to them that this wasn't an option, but they didn't receive a response to my email. I tried to have the product held by **** but it failed. I'm very disappointed with the services I received from Bed *****************************. The procedures are sloppy and unprofessional.Business response

I order seven and a half foot blue spruce tree. on 7/10/2024. without lights. The tree that camp four days ago , was a pit lit tree. In a box eleven inchwide, 41 inches long that said one piece. I keep getting emails from them that I didnt sign up for. I have asked them numerous time to stop the emails. They said they couldnt do that unless I signed for it so they sent me an email to stop them from coming & I filled it out & the lady waited for me to send it back which she said she received & now Im getting the emails again. Requests to delete accounts is not instant.
The ***************************** stated they filled out the form. The ********************************************************* have received an email, sent to the email address they provided for that account, verifying that they wanted to proceed with deleting the account. It is unclear if they took that step.
The ***************************** is not signed up for promotional emails.
The *****************************'s Free Welcome Rewards Membership is expiring. Bed Bath & Beyond sends out reminders so customers can renew the membership before that time. An email will also be sent once it has expired unless the account has been deleted at that time.

The person who oversees the department that handles account deletion requests stated that the ***************************** did complete a Do Not Share/Sell request on 6/26.
Emails in regard to a *****************************'s Welcome Rewards account are not promotional emails.
The department has not received a request to delete the *****************************'s account. A link was provided to the ***************************************************** 7/10 for the deletion request. No request was generated from the link.
A manual request will be generated for the ***************************** if they are having issues with submitting the request. The ***************************** will need to reply to an email confirmation.

My wife and I purchased a beach cabana under her name, Deborah Blissick ([email protected]). It was delivered and placed into service the same day. The point on the pole going into the sand fell off and stayed in the sand renderinh the aupport pole and thus the entire product unusable.Business response

I ordered a 13ft BLACK umbrella from them on May 23rd, 2024. They sent me the first order and when it got to me I cracked the package open and noticed it was a bright blue, liking the IHOP sign. I called the company which was about 30-plus minutes out of my life for them to tell me I needed to take it back to a *** and drop it off for return and they would send me the correct umbrella. They processed that return on June 1st. They sent me another umbrella that I received on June 8th and AGAIN it came bright blue. I called the company and spent another 30-plus minutes on the phone for them to tell me to take it back to a *** store again. I refused since they refused to compensate me for gas and time for their mistake. She said she would send *** to me to pick it up. They were at my home bright and early the very next morning to pick up the umbrella. June 12th that return was processed. They said they would ship me the correct BLACK umbrella and put a rush on it. On June 24th I received the umbrella and yet AGAIN I received a Bright Blue umbrella. I was beyond angry called them and spent over an hour on the phone waiting to speak with a manager who sounded like the same lady I started out speaking with. I told her I had had enough I wanted my money back and was not going to wait on it since they had messed up so many times. She said as soon as they receive the package back they will issue me a refund and it would take 3 to 5 business days. *** picked it up bright and early the very next morning They have yet to issue me a refund and I have called 3 other times and spent tons of time on the phone with them each time to tell me 3 to 5 business days. It has now been 18 days and I have yet to see a refund. Spent multiple hours on the phone and sending emails and have not yet been refunded or received the correct umbrella. I just want my money back. I have multiple emails, text messages, and call logs for proof if you want to send me an email to send them to.Business response
