I’m making this complaint based on how the shop is ultimately ran. by simply browsing their google reviews you will see how unprofessional this shop truly is. I’ve witnessed 2 people come here for tattoos, i’ve considered getting myself one but decided against it due to the following reasons - Artists are often drunk or stoned on the job. I’ve personally seen white claws and wax pens getting hit behind the counter -Artists let their dogs roam the premises with no regard to health safety or allergies -Artists will charge hourly and often take breaks in the middle of sessions to get stoned or to smoke, making you PAY more for their own vices -I’ve heard anecdotal evidence about how artists harass their clients and have caused discomfort due to their fowl language, Especially towards women I understand how serious BBB complaints are, I was there about 3 months ago and what has prompted me to leave this review is due to the doctoring of a large amount of reviews on their google page. They’re mostly coming from fresh accounts that have only left one review often times referencing specific artists. I find this to be the most unprofessional tattoo shop i’ve seen so be warned!!Initial Complaint

I found this company on Google and paid 100 dollars through Venmo to start an appointment with the intentions of leading to a tattoo project. The person I paid via Venmo and met Josh at The Artist Den, LLC was late, and high smelling of weed. The appointment was agreed to be a working appointment which Josh was nearly 30 minutes late to, then canceled the meeting in person. I asked before I left if there were costs that I needed to pay which Josh clearly stated there are no costs and the money I sent would go to a project. The following morning I was able to find another solution and out of courtesy notified Josh that I would not be moving forward with him. He was very unprofessional to begin with and lead to me have concerns about his work, and being able to complete the commitment we discussed. As you can see from Joshs text messages to my personal phone it was unbelievable the manner in which Josh was messaging me directly. I did not ask for a refund only want this person to no longer contact me.
