After having so many issues with breaks ***** Brothers supplied for my vehicle, I ordered breaks from the dealership. Before ordering them, I called and asked if they would put on the break if I brought them in. The mgr said, "Yes, we can do that for you it just won't be covered under the warranty." I said, that's fine and I completely understand." When the breaks came in, I called to make an appt. They got me in the same day. I get there and waited a while watching my vehicle sit in the parking spot where I parked it for an hour and a half past my appt time. Finally, it leaves the spot at 140pm. At 245, the mgr who I checked in with when I got there, calls me up to the counter. He charged me for 3 hrs of labor when there was only a little over an hour. I had some where to be at 3 so I left and came back to question the charge. I waited for the mgr as he was with a customer and talked to another employee. I was telling him my issue and he said, "You need to talk to ****." The mgr said, it's a flat rate for the breaks. It doesn't matter when it went into the shop." Inconclusive, I feel like i caught him in a lie and he had to think of something to cover his a** for over charging. I went home and looked at a previous invoice for the orginal break repair (in sept of 24) and I was on charged for $280 and that included the breaks. I'm not sure why this wasn't partially covered on the 2 yr warranty since a different location kept giving me crappy breaks and had to keep coming back to get them replaced. Then to charge me 3 hr worth of labor when they only had it in the shop for a little over an hour. There's also ti.e stamps from when I checked in vs when the invoice was print which is 3 hrs. That doesn't mean the customer gets charged 3 hrs when while their vehicle sits in a parking spot for hrs before getting taken into the shop. Had I known I would get charged the amount I did, I would have wen to the dealership to have it worked on.Review from Terri D

Very disappointed! I took my vehicle in for reg oil change and tire rotation service. They must have been told to upsell transmission flushes because they talked me into doing it and said there were three vehicles ahead of me for the same service. After 4 hours I picked up my vehicle and immediately noticed transmission trouble. Vehicle not shifting and very high rpms on city roads. Took it back in and turns out they didnt refill the trans fluid. It was 1.5 quarts low! Turns out I didnt even need the service because I wasnt at the mileage requiring it and warranty states this service must be done by dealer. So a simple oil change ended up being 6 hours of my time sitting, AND then they refused to refund me the 200$! For the trans flush. Will be telling everyone I know to steer clear of this place. They are either incompetent or scamming people out of money by hoping youll come back to get your car fixed after they cause problems.Burt Brothers Tire & Service, Inc. Response

We are sorry to hear about the mishap on the transmission service. We did refund the total service that you paid for. On your vehicle the service is recommended by many different sites between 30K and 90K depending on driving conditions.Customer Response

I did receive a phone call from the owner and was told the refund is processing. I appreciate him taking the time and acknowledging the mistake. I did also approve of the service without knowing my current mileage or warranty requirements so I take responsibility for that. No damage seems to have been done to transmission. However I was specifically told by mechanic it was every ******* miles and my mileage is ******. My manual says only let dealer do this type of service. It also states that if ***** TS fluid equivalent is not used it invalidates warranty. I was assured on second visit it was but have no way of knowing for sure. Will go to dealer and make sure service was done right according to warranty and trans is undamaged. Looking back if Id known more at the time I wouldnt have consented to this service. I am completely disgusted by the service I got at **** brothers the straight up got me for a 1000,00 dollars for doing absolutely nothing to my car but making it worse I took it in to get my catalytic converter fixed that was my one and only reason for taking it there but instead of fixing it they diagnosed it 3 times changed my oil and screwed up my window and completely dismissed the reason it was there you would think that someone there would be smart enough to fix what it was there for but let me add when they screwed me over after I had pd them the ******* for doing nothing they told me on the way out the door I should get my catalytic converter fixed they 100% took advantage of me being a woman with no knowledge of mechanics I find it vile and disguisting that they would do that it was worse when I picked it up then when I left it and has continuely gotten worse since then so let me thank you **** Brothers for s******* meBurt Brothers Tire & Service, Inc. Misinformation, lost history, bad business behavior.Told 9+- months ago that I needed to replace my summer tires I ran them for another 4+ months then switched them out for my winter tires. Now time to switch them back for the summer season, 5/32 left in the tread, tires still well within 55k mi, less then 5 years I've only driven 44k miles switching out every season since purchasing the vehicle in 2019 I am told; "You need to replace them, they are out of warranty (beyond date, not true) and tread wear is beyond safety standard"!Additionally I am told they are unable to locate my purchase record? I have purchased ALL of my tires at **** Brothers since approximately 1998. I am now told that they only have record of my 2 sets of blizzaks being purchased, one set being studded. As I have NEVER owned a studded tire I can only assume at this point that I was charged for studded tires. No record of Firestones ever being purchased.No ability to contact one of higher authority in the company as everything is fed back to the manager.I can not in good faith recommend **** Brothers for anything perhaps beyond a flat repair, fluid top off and possibly and fluid change.Burt Brothers Tire & Service, Inc. After a terrible (1-star) experience at ************** location, I went to the *************** (**** S State) location and it was like a night and day difference. They immediately got my car in for a tire rotation and did way more by securing my skid plates. Service was very quick and professional.Review from Brooks N

Went in for a simple tire plug to be put in and I left with my speaker blown out and 3/5 lug nuts stripped. These people dont care about a customer in any way shape or form. I dont recommend anyone bringing in their vehicle to this location at all. Also they never apologized for there wrongdoing.Burt Brothers Tire & Service, Inc. Response

Dont schedule an appointment and dont wait for your vehicle. Cause it doesnt seem to matter. I scheduled an appointment to have 4 tires put on my vehicle at the ********* location on ********************. I arrived ***** minutes early, thinking that it would take an hour, or so. They finally got my vehicle into a bay 45 minutes - 1 hour after my appointment time. So I had now been waiting for an hour or longer. They are still working on the tires, we have now passed the two hour ***** This is on a slow Thursday, mid day. It looked like they showed no preference either way and they would just get to the car when they got to the car. Dont bother scheduling it doesnt matter anyway.Burt Brothers Tire & Service, Inc. Took my ****** Sentra to be lowered, and they didnt connect my ball joints right, making my car rattle and my engine move and car bouncing like I have hydraulics. When I told them about it, they said its not there fault.Burt Brothers Tire & Service, Inc. Response

I brought my perfectly fine vehicle in for a scheduled tire rotation. Went back 2 hours later to pick it up and my right rear tire was flat. How in the world does a business like **** Brothers think this is ok? Brought my vehicle back the following morning and they determined that I (me, not **** Brothers) somehow punctured the sidewall of my tire. Bring four inflated tires in for a rotation, and leave with a flat. GOOD JOB **** BROTHERS!! (very very sarcastic)Review from Jordan M

Spent about $1500.00 trying to get them to fix my car. My car would semi-randomly go into limp mode and stop accelerating properly. Finally took it to a different repair shop and they said **** Brothers installed an aftermarket air intake sensor, when that specific part needs to be a ****** brand to work properly. I had this other repair ******** it for me (car now working just fine) then I called **** Brothers and asked if the problem could be the aftermarket part. They denied that was the problem and urged me to come back in and spend another couple hundred dollars to see what's wrong.Apparently there is a master resource/tool on the internet that car repair shops use. It can tell you if an aftermarket part can be used in exchange for a name brand part. This other repair shop I went to told me about this and said **** Brothers absolutely knew that an aftermarket part wouldn't fix the issue, yet they continued charging me for "repairs" that weren't targeting the problem.
