I moved in with my boyfriend on Easter, we haven't even been living here for one full year yet. The apartment complex switched management about one month after we moved in and we were not made aware of this. I have text messages and pictures about the broken window needing to be fixed since we moved in. The window is off the track and is just resting against the frame so it doesn't fall or shatter. I have contacted the new management and left messages numerous times, so has my boyfriend from his number. Management has not fixed it and claims the window order has been delayed, other residents have mentioned they also have the window problem and have been living here for longer and have not had their windows fixed. We also had maintenance look over our hvac in late June and was told they needed to get a specific part to fix the water heater. They never brought the part to fix it and it has started to leak and leave puddles on the floor which is now leaking into the apartment below. I've called and left messages to management. They have not reached out to return my messages or to get things fixed. They rarely answer the phone, even the emergency line. I have been locked out of the building numerous times because the electronic door has been broken and locked shut. Management is aware it keeps breaking and has not fixed it nor do they send someone out to let me inside the building. I have to sit outside and hope that another resident is coming out of the door to open it. We currently keep masking tape around the handle which stops residents from having security.
