      Dispute over cancelation fee.- I decided that I wanted to cancel the service that they were going to provide. I asked for a cancelation in the time given,but didn't get an answer until after their cancelation period. Now they want me to pay $3300 even though I received nothing, but a quote from them.

      We have paid Solcius $15,498.00 to install a solar system Solcius failed to get their technical plans approved by our local power company. Plans need to be approved before a solar system is installed.Solcius installed most of the system anyway.The power company will not install the meter so the system will work because the technical plans are still not approved. The first technical plans were submitted in the beginning of August, partial installation September 14th. Last rejected technical plans November 1sr. The company has failed to deliver, but they have been paid anyway by the loan company. Soon we will have to start paying on the loan, and we still have a useless solar system. I have suggested getting a third party to complete the work, but the company said they will not pay for a third party and furthermore it will void our warranty. I have emailed Solcius and my wife has called a number of times, and although they are nice on the phone, nothing has been resolved.

      We understand ************** frustrations and we are working hard to get the system operational as soon as possible. We have been, and will continue to be, in constant constant communication with Mr. ***** His utility application was resubmitted to ************** (************** utility company in *********) on 11/03/2021 and is currently pending approval. We have also asked that Alliant expedite their review.  

      In researching the communication with Alliant we see our team did misunderstand some of the unclear corrections sent from Alliant. However, we are confident that the oversight has been corrected.  One of the main corrections requires equipment  that would delay progress due to availability and backorder time however we are opting an alternative route with a upgrade.

      Regarding the damages to the roof that has been addressed and the Jack's are working with a 3rd party roofing company.

      Solar rep stated i would not be paying for power and solar which i am still. The system was supposed to save money. My payment would be 50 dollars less than my power ****. The company refuses to do anything i was lied to and am now paying double my regular power ****.

      We encourage ************** to review his signed proposal. He will find a copy in his email and we also sent him a hard copy in his welcome packet. As a reminder the offset percentage is based on a 12 month period. ****************** system started producing at the end of June 2021. Some months like the proposal shows will not have months of full solar coverage especially in the colder months. He can find detailed information regarding his systems production in the Solar Edge app.

      During a review of ****************** project we found that the project currently has an open service ticket due to 6 panels being damaged in a storm that need replacing. Unfortunately weather damage to the panels is not covered in his warranty however we are still able to service those panels and will send ************** a bid.

      The system was supposed to save money and it has not plus i was told the system would run to build credit before i was billed which also did not happen these people lied to me to get me to sign a contract. They got paid and i have no way out. In no way deserving of a 4.5 star review with the BBB.

      ****************** system has yet to produce a full 4 months as his PTO granted date was 6/25/2021. Also he has confirmed weather damage to 6 of his 19 panels. Unfortunately any verbal conversations not in the agreement are unable to be confirmed on our end as our **************** team was not present during the sale. However Solcius takes several steps to make sure our customers are aware of what they are signing up for with our verification survey when customers sign up and a 2nd verification call before installation. 

       

      During a review of his verification survey on 2/26/20 ************** was asked: 

      Have you had a chance to review and understand the benefits of going solar presented in your solar proposal?

      ************** Answered: Yes 

      Were there any commitments made to you that are not included in your Solar Installation Agreement? For example, LED's / Nest / Etc...

      ************** Answered: No 

       

      We are happy review with ************** his signed proposal with his projected solar system production and savings.

      I was lied to they got their money and ran a typical scam with horrible customer service i had to threaten these people with the bank they operate through i will call and tell them what they are doing to people. I will also be getting a lawyer. Everything me rep said was recorded by my home security system.

      Over 2 months ago an individual from Solcius came to my residence and check out the system, he informed my spouse to contact Solcius because my inverter is malfunctioning and not working properly. Which since then I have contacted Solcius multiple times. During my last phone call with Solcius the rep informed me that the supplier of the hardware is not answering them inorder to get the unit replaced. I informed the individual that as a consumer that is not my problem and they need to rectify the situation and get the part replaced. The last contact was over 3 weeks ago and nothing has been done.

      We are sorry to hear about ********************** recent experience. After reviewing the service history we have reached out to SolarEdge. They reported that the issue is a communication issue between the inverter and their monitoring portal. SolarEdge is working with the cell tower providers to resolve this issue.  ******************** system is still producing to our knowledge. However, Solcius is happy to send a technician to verify that the system is working and SolarEdge will continue to work on the communication issue. We will reach out to the Zangana's to schedule a service appointment.
