On April 25, 2022 I left my vehicles with Hillside to do repair work the next day. I spent nearly $600 in repairs. One of those repairs was to re-attach the liner on the LR fender. I picked up my car on Tuesday, April 26, paid my bill in entirety and left. All seemed to be well until Saturday. On Saturday I needed to get in the door where the fender had been repaired. It was almost impossible to open the door. I finally got it open and the liner was no longer attached. Today, May 2, 2022 I took my car back around 2:30. The person I spoke to was neither of the two people I dealt with last week (Jake and TJ were very capable and customer service oriented). I showed this person my invoice from last week, and he flat out told me that there was no way they would fix the problem that they caused today because they were too busy and that I would have to leave my car "another" time. Even though they made an (I believe) honest mistake he refused to fix a problem they were responsible for, unless I would come back another time and leave my vehicle. This problem could have been taken care of in a "few minutes" but instead, this representative of Hillside would rather lose my business.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/22/2024

This is ***************************(store manager) from Hillside Tire and Service.   Here is best response for this complaint from April 2022.  Looks like ***** came in and drop off here vehicle on April 25, 2022.  We did an oil service, serviced the power steering fluid, replaced the rear brakes and installed a new battery.  She did ask if we could reattach the ***************** liner.  Which we did.  She came back in May 2, 2022 that afternoon because it had come off again.  She chatted with one of the guys at the counter and being late in the day and the work flow we already had going on at that point was aske to bring it back the next day or whatever was convenient for her to have us attempt to reattach the ***************** liner.  We have never seen or have heard from ***** since May 2, 2022.  I did reach out to her this morning to see if she had gotten it reattach or if she still needed it to be done.  She did  not answer but I did leave a voicemail.
