**** the owner lied multiple times about the services done to my vehicle. The shop was negligent and failed to double check parts that were installed resulting in suspension parts failing, and falling out of my vehicle 2 weeks after their repair After returning to have them fix the issue, they were rude, unprofessional and failed to correctly fix the problem a second time. They are unsafe and pose a danger to their customers. I tried to get a refund on a service they failed to provide and they offered to provide the service under the condition that I remove my negative review of their shop. They have cost me time, money and put my life at risk because of their negligence and dishonesty.

Red Rock Auto Repair, LLC Response

My response to these allegations are as follows, 1-I never lied to the customer about anything. 2- My mechanic did fail to fully tighten one of the 2 sway bar links and it did come loose. We were notified and promptly replaced the part and then re-checked the work we performed. The customer paid us to replace his valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, oil filter housing gaskets, oil change and lower control arms/ball joints and sway bar links. We advised the customer that the lower ball joint were failing and vehicle was not safe. He agreed and we did the work. we also informed the customer that on a 23 year old vehicle that other leaks where possible because there was so much oil on the engine. When the work was completed we sent the vehicle to our alignment shop, they installed camber caster kit to correct the alignment. Then customer complained that it was still leaking oil. I personally inspected the vehicle, and the oil was leaking from the timing cover. We never worked on the timing cover. I texted with the customer and he agreed to go ahead with the repair, then abruptly by text after hours declined. When he came to pick up his vehicle, we had a conversation, and once again I tried to explain that on a vehicle that old with over 200k miles, it could leak from anywhere. During our conversation, I had a very important personal call come in and asked him to hold on a minute. He acted mad and promptly left without finishing our conversation. I texted him after my phone call and explained that I had to take the call and was up for further dialog to which he let loose with a barrage of text messages of personal attacks and accusations to me and my business. I again texted back to explain our position. Then I got the notice of a 1 star negative review on ******* I feel this review is unfair and not true. I responded to the review. A day or so later he texted again accusing me of charging him for an alignment he said we didn't do. I told him I would do it again if he took down the negative review. He responded with more accusations and threats to report me to the *** and BBB. I then texted him receipts for the alignment, our original work order with the notes, including the one that stated "timing cover? covered with oil, can't tell" along with valve cover gaskets leaking, oil filter housing leaking, intake manifold gaskets leaking, both lower control arm/ball joints bad. and a full price breakdown, including the cash discount, saving the shop credit card fee's. Finally, our detailed invoice states "No Warranty without this receipt" Customer states "I don't have my receipt, I threw it away" In conclusion, we made several attempts to appease the customer, admitted our mistake, rectified our mistake promptly.
