Beware if you have to request readmission. Most al your past "credits" will be denied. I was two classes short when my mother's illness forced me to withdraw to be her care provider. After she passed, i requested readmission and was told that the courses had changed so that only two classes transferred. The implication is that most of the prior classes were meaningless, so what was the point of all the prior work?

*** encourages former students to return and complete their degrees. However, readmitting students must enroll in the most current version of their program and some courses may no longer satisfy the requirements for completion of the program. *** feels a strong responsibility to its accreditors and to the employers of its graduates to ensure that our graduates possess the the most current competencies at the time of their graduation. For a former student in a Cybersecurity and ********************* degree program that was established nearly 10 years ago, many courses have changed so significantly that they no longer satisfy the requirements of the most current program.

Hello,I was a student here. I didn't understand the concept of the school, so I withdrew. I went here from February 1st, 2024, to April 26, 2024. No one at the school wanted to tell me how to withdraw. I had to go online and find out through ****** and figure it out myself. I was constantly insulted by my teacher ******************* in my first class. He sent me things to study with that had nothing to do with what I was failing. Now I have withdrew from the school and signup for Franklin *********************** But there is now one problem I started Franklin ********************** on May 20, 2024. And I can't get financial aid because WGU won't change the end of my financial aid date to April 26, 2024. So there kicking me out of franklin ********************** until my tuition is paid. Because my financial is overlapping and no one will change the date. So now until the date is change, I owe Franklin ********************** $2,389.00 and I will be kicked out of school until it's paid.I would like to talk to the financial aid director for WGU to settle this problem. This has made life h*** for me from the day I started. Now to the day I ended the school and even after I have left. WGU has been the worst decision I have ever made in my life. If possible, could someone please contact me to please help me fix this problem. Thank you for your time I know someone at this school has to care.

WGU financial aid office confirmed that Franklin ********************** is mistaken about not accepting student because there is no overlap in attendance dates. WGU offered assistance to speak to ******** ********************** but has not heard further from the student.

Every course is filled with typos and various issues that will never be addressed. The whole school should be evaluated for its lack of responsibility.

I really wanted to believe that WGU was not a diploma mill. After passing all my course and taking the exams I was able to graduate in a matter of months, not years months. I have been laughed out of interviews due to the sheepskin of a diploma that I have received from this diploma mill. I blame myself, I have to take responsibility, I thought it was a good idea to cut corners and go to this horrible school. I regret it everyday.

WGU regrets that we cannot guarantee every graduate a job, however we can report very good results from surveys from our graduates received over the past 3 years across all our programs. For 1 year after graduation, 85.5% of of respondents are working in their degree area and 66.3% classified their income as higher than before they attended WGU. 87.6% are employed full time. We are confident that our graduates are receiving the benefits they expect from their WGU degree.

I have tried to return to college and finish my degree several times over the years. The struggles of working full time, balancing work, family and study time has never before worked for me.Cut to ***, I have had so much success with *** and the self-paced learn anytime competency model. Courses where I have a strong amount of knowledge from my previous education and work experience I am able to fly through leaving ample time to dedicate my to coursework that requires more attention. All of the faculty I have worked with have been delightful and professional in all interactions. I am slatted to graduate in March and I am beyond excited, I am even looking into Masters programs.I found myself coming to the BBB site to leave this review after hearing someone talk about how they had decided not to attend based on some reviews here. I wanted to leave this feedback to offer a more balanced perspective to potential students.

I feel sad to see all of these negative reviews from these people here in the BBB. I came here looking for a resource for a task, hoping to find something awesome to cite in my project. I won't be writing anything from here, unfortunately. But I felt like expressing my opinion here. So far my experience with *** is wonderful! May I repeat, Wonderful? My PM is great, the enrollment process was a process, but I'm in, and I am learning everything I need to learn. I understand everybody has a different experience and has different perspectives and cultures, but this is ridiculous to try to ruin a perfectly good school's name, just out of spite. So, What I want to do, is thank *** for your replies to the nonsense. It shows your integrity and efforts to give your students the best you can give. Especially for those of us, that Love you! I am sad that your BBB star scores are so low, you don't deserve it. I hope my review helps, and I hope more people will give you all 5 stars!

We greatly appreciate this positive review. *** has over ******* students now. We graduate over ****** graduates every month! We know that the negative reviews here are not indicative of typical student experiences. Unfortunately, most students who have a positive experience at *** graduate and go on to their careers without posting anything on BBB. We monitor BBB carefully because so many times, when a negative review or complaint shows up here it is because something went wrong and a student either didn't know how to file an internal complaint or chose not to. We do make mistakes, and when we do, we own them and resolve the impact on the student as well as we can. Even then, most students do not come back here and say that *** took care of their issue. It is an unfortunate characteristic of BBB that it is inherently negative and not in any way a valid barometer of how well any business is doing to take care of its customers.

They put me in the wrong version of a course and didn't catch it until I had completely finished the class. I still needed the class but they wouldn't grade what I turned in and said I had to redo everything for the new version. This was at the end of my term. To make up for it they requested an extension. I was told on the 4th that I was approved for a 7 day extension to do everything. However the extension started on the 1st. So I did a whole class I didn't need, at no fault of my own, and I effectively have 3 days to completely redo it.

*** faculty can commit errors sometimes and when we do, we own it. Steps are taken to protect students from harm resulting from any faculty error. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) prevents *** from providing any more detail in this public forum.

As a graduate, my experience at *** was very positive. Having attended both "brick and mortar" and online, remote learning institutions, I am very impressed with the program *** offers. If you are a motivated student who can accel in a self-directed learning environment, you will find your time at *** extremely rewarding. Regarding the BSBA/MBA program, the curriculum is relevant, and the knowledge, skills, and abilities you will gain throughout the program immediately apply to real life. I am constantly surprised at how many night owls (a term used affectionately for *** students) I meet in the business world.Generally speaking, ***'s approach to learning is innovative and challenges the norm. This makes them a disrupter among other more traditional institutions. I expect that ***'s learning model will be adopted by many other institutions as the new standard for remote learning.

*** is grateful for this review. We graduate thousands of students every month that have similarly positive experiences. It is wonderful that you took the time to express those here.

Horrible school. They do not care for their students. The financial aide department is a mess. I had just graduated from a previous school in early August & started *** in October. Previous to enrolling I had discussed with financial aide if this would impact my loans and he said no. I would receive them in 2 disbursements 6 months apart. The same info was reported on my federal aide receipt of my loans to this school. Fast forward...I start school and my loan disbursement dates were pushed back daily by the school. I contacted them to see if there was anything they needed or if I needed to know any ************** said all the requirements were met. I have a spinal ************ either I work or I go to school so I opted to take out extra loans to cover my living costs. My previous school I had done the same & it allowed me to immerse myself in my studies & get straight A's. I made plans with my mentor at *** to work full time on my classes & crafted a schedule that I could stick to. I finished my first class in 5 days. I was set to take the final assessment within a few days of that to pass the class. After tracking down the girl who was handling my financial aide she lets me know that I will only get half of my money of the 1st 6 month ******************* will hold the other half of the money & give it to me 3 months later (meanwhile they collect interest on the money) She acted like she did me such a favor when what she did was destroy my education plan. I told her that's my living ************** knew this. I was basically penalized & they decided I was to be monitored for starting school too soon after I graduated the previous one so they said their policy is that would keep half of my money for 3 months. That was the concern that I addressed prior to enrolling which I stated above. These people in the financial aide office are ruthless. I immediately told them to send back the funds because they are not getting a dime from ****** did my exit counseling.

When a student has used part of their loan eligibility for a particular aid year at another school and then enrolls at ***, the ********** of ********* only allows *** to disperse the remaining funds that the student is eligible for in that aid year, regardless of how much the student requests. Once the overlapping loan periods end, a student affected by this may receive all the funds that they qualify for in the next aid year. It is unfortunate when this happens to a student with a legitimate need for more funds in the current aid year, but there is nothing that *** can do to get around this regulation.

I reported racist conduct of this school and left reviews and as a result they have threatened me on multiple occasions are and retaliating against me. They are trying to strong arm me into retracting statements that I have screenshots of yet have quietly changed what my initial complaints were in relation to while denying any wrong doing. This school is disgusting and I will be escalating this to every government agency and entity. These people are evil. They do not do everything to support each student. Everytime I leave a review or defend myself they threaten me. These people are disgusting.
